Too much complaints on the selection. I actually think this is balanced if Mata plays behind Rooney with depay and Januzaz on the flanks.

As per DDG, I support LVG benching him. If we play him for these early games and he eventually leaves we then start to adapt to a new keeper again.

Let him be benched, if he eventually stays then he fights to get his spot back, if he leaves we already have a keeper that has warmed up to the season.

Its unfortunate things have turned out like this but we gave De Gea the chance to make his mistakes and learnt from it, we shud give Romero the same chance too.

My 2cents.

A much more sensible and agree-able argument - rather than bench him because he "indicates interest to move to another club" - shuo!

Valdez dat quickly posted a picture of him with the reserves on his Twitter page in reply to LVG. Failcow has not said anything up until now cos he knows LVG said the truth n di maria? Did he complain about LVG? only Rafael which was clear that the man didn't fancy him at all. The coach has cleared the picture for the media n fans to see in order to avoid being blamed for not trying to hold on to ddg should things go awry. Had he started ddg n we lost against spurs with ddg losing concentration ,you lot will still blame LVG for not benching him for Romero. When luke shaw came to united ,LVG told him flat out that he wasn't fit n sent him to train with the fitness manager alone or when di maria was wasting possession with his kick n follow methods didn't LVG publicly criticize him or even recently when he criticized tiger for playing poorly in preseason n not to forget when he told failcow to go play with the under 19s because he lacked fitness. Look at the disparity between how that of CR7 panned out and that of DDG now. What we have now is fans turning on DDG for no fault of his simply because of DDG's comments and refusal to field him!

And yes, regardless of what LVG says his reasons are, I do believe him - he is not too big to lie!

According to the latest story ,LVG sent two coaches to talk to him n one of the coach reported that DDG doesn't want to play for united again ,also his attitude in training has dropped meaning that he doesn't want to stay at the club beyond this transfer window. What is this one saying? CR7 to Madrid, Goetze & Lewandowski to bayern... Players have been tapped up more severely than this and it doesn't stop them from still being used.

DDG cannot come out and say anything publicly because it is a no-win for him. It could be seen as speaking out of turn, disrespectful to the club even. If he comes out to say anything now sef, would you believe? Because LVG comments has almost certainly poisoned the minds of many fans - and they may not be true!
Have you noticed a trend in this situations; the players usually don't say anything publicly until they are away from the club.

I am not making a case for DDG to be sold or not - Rather, I am making a case that HE BE USED in the meantime. All this GKs we are buying here and there is the waste of energy and real "distraction"! As far as am concerned, this is like cutting the nose to spite the face.

The difference here between this DDG and the CR7 situations is that SAF managed the situation well. He didn't allow the player feel 'heat' of the moment, rather he got the best of both world - services of the player for one more season and then a hefty sum later on!

Which AVAILABLE star would you want us to buy then? Buying players in itself is a risk. There's no sure way to know he will flop or not. Kaka with all his awards and skills did poorly at Madrid. Madrid never thought he'd flop. Maria made me dance when he was bought, one season later, Gaal threw him out. Everything is a risk, Pedro might or might not come good. There's no guarantee that another player will come good. Everything is a risk.

I do not have an issue with signing players but whatever we do, it needs to be immediately obvious and at least give an indication of the direction the club is moving towards or this 'philosophy' thing LVG speaks about.

Muslera - he may well be a gem; but what is the sense in signing him now. Johnstone, Lindegaard, Valdez, De Gea, Romero... we are just going to end up with as many GKs as Liverpool have strikers. We can just make use of one of them; surely they can't all be 'useless'!

Pedro - a more than decent footballer no doubts but for me, he comes with too many questions attached. What will be his role specifically and how is he going to fit into UTD's long-term playing style!? Will he be comfortable with how LVG will use him? Given that he is coming from a relatively stable setting in FCB, can he adapt to the changes UTD will surely offer?

Did you just wright for writing sake? I just saw a 12 minutes highlight of his saves. That guy is a magician. No goalkeeper can have such a highlight. The league he plays in is what keeps him low.

My point is, Barca is very settled, stable side - all the players know their formation, how to play and what is expected of them. If there is a tactical switch, it is clearly defined and passed on to them. Can we say the same of this UTD side at the moment?

What in the world we see in Pedro I cannot fathom... Apart from the fact that he "hustles", I see no positive he will bring to an already 'confused' setup. He is better off staying put at barca.

LvG goofed on Maria, but on DDG, LvG gave DDG the best "feel good" factor any coach can give a player, even Man Utd gave DDG the best goalie contract in EPL if not the whole of Europe and he refused. So what other "feel good factor" does he need again? He wants to leave and Man Utd wants to grant him his wish but on our own terms or they can go fúck themselves!!

A manager that cannot give his players "the feel good factor" or make them feel "welcome" or "appreciated" at key moments... Next month, it will be another player and the following month, another!
