I think I understand what the OP is trying to say... if you really look at it, she has a fair point. Some of these toasters (maybe few) are potential hubby. So if she says "yes", she may be off the market before you know it!
The main koko is her choice of "standard" and where she has to compromise. Same for just about any other lady!

We all love a fairy-tale, but the bias for this Leicester is becoming all too glaring and annoying. Everything they do is either blown out of context or downplayed.

Huth did throw an elbow at Otamendi... Inler did foul Aguero in the box... Mahrez made a meal of the challenge for Mangala's foul, same too did Vardy for Sagna... abeg, I can go on and on!

Meanwhile our noisy neighbors suppose beat this Leicester jor...

Awful display so far... put one of Willian or Pedro to play 'solely' as central striker. At least give the team a focal go to point up front.

I have hardly ever been critical of LVG's line up at any time. For me, that is the manager's main cup of tea. My grouse with him was always his attitude and man-management, especially when the season just started.

Good lineup... Schneiderlin, Schweini and Herera all starting. UTD can win this.

This thing with the "past" is really tricky... the key thing is to "openness" and fairness on your own ; and letting your partner know that you will not develop a "negative bias" towards them because of things they may have done in the past!!!

If you are "investigating", best be ready to accept whatever you "find"... and if you are doing so just to look for a way to "give the dog a bad name and then hang it" --- don't bother, just get out already!

You are so correct... It is all so stale at the moment. It's just as if clubs are so reluctant to get adventurous, take risk and scout properly.

From the moment we sacked David Moyes, without giving him ample time in my opinion (I always felt he should have finished the season and at worst, the next half season), we set off a chain... Any manager that comes in and not getting it right, has to go almost immediately (the Moyes treatment). But with all the beef I have for LVG, I do not support this now or anywhere in the near future. He should finish the season and then the board makes a decision after on if to give him any extra time. Same should apply for just about every struggling manager.

If we do have to get a new manager, I'd rather it is someone relatively "fresh"... Blanc, Simeone, Laudrup...

I watched the game on NBCSN and they kept pointing out the huge gap he kept leaving for Fernandinho to cover. Delph is a far better box-to-box holding midfielder than Yaya. He may not have the skill and technique, but he definitely won't leave be "strolling" about in the field for over 80mins.

The reality is fans are not patient anymore. While managers should always be accountable for their mistakes and results, its ridiculous that all it takes is one bad season and you're out in football these days.

My favorite managers, Moyes (UTD) and AVB (Chelsea) both got the boot and I tried to raise these points but got shouted down here on this thread and the Chelsea one.
I didn't know this logic still existed. Or in other words, it only applies to a "speacial breed" of managers... no wonder there is a rumored musical chairs of managers at the moment - Carlo to Bayern, Pep to City, Pelle to Chelsea, Mou to UTD - just like the Naija political situation, "when will the young be allowed to grow!?"
