You don't make any sense. In any exam ranking - there has to be a scale. Just30: |
There has been no load shedding in the last 30yrs in kenya. The first and last was in 1999. And we like Ghana are doing - brought generators - thermal plants. You're in 1999 now. Those thermal plants in kenya are emergency plants - we didn't sign take or pay. We only use them if need be. Most of the contracts will end in 2030 - and we are done with them. Ghana you have a long way to go with thermal plants. Just30: |
Let say all Ghanians student passed and can join university. Of course not. In Kenya those that fail university - go for Diplomas - then certificates - then Artisans. Just30: |
Quality of power - is have power 24-7 sufficient for use. We already achieved that in many areas. I don't use a lot of power - because it just lighting, tv, computers and rarely oven. Most cooking is LPG. Just30: |
https://kmtc.ac.ke/ I think you don't understand what they mean by failure. They failed to meet university entry requirement - which is to score at least C+. Out of 500K students - about 150k - join university - C+ to A ( we don't have JAMB thing ) Those that score C-/C - become teachers/nurses/diploma course.s Those that scored D+ and below become technicians - do certificate courses. Those that score E - become artisans - course for that. Nobody really fails so much they cannot be admitted to any course. Just30: |
I am talking quality. Obviously per capita depend on stuff like minning, manufacturing and income levels - climatic conditions. Kenya do not need air-conditioning or heating system. Just30: |
Kenya public sector - kenya gov training alone has 67 colleges - enrolling 12,000. We have not counted private and missions med In the 2018/ 2019 academic year that began from September 2018 through July 2019, 12,942 students were admitted to the College’s 67 Campuses spread across the country ical institutions. vaxx: |
In terms of electricity kenya is very far ahead. It almost achieving developed world electricity quality. For instance to reduce outage during maintanance - 4yrs ago - power distro started live maintenance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVDjMbPo5pA In critical areas we have redundancy lines. And KPLC has choppers for quicky deployment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmXSDnVAgpk |
Master class that has been on IMF bailout 17 times. Volta dam bankrupted your country in 1960s. IPPS are bankrupting you now, Jesus. Just30: |
I would appreciate some figures. vaxx: |
You don't own anything. They are independent power producers with international contracts. You signed a take or pay. If you fail to pay they will first refuse to generate power - and you'll still pay for it Just wait until they start seizing Ghana little properties abroad - like your embassies or kick you out of eurobond. International contracts are not a joke. Just30: |
NIgerian are sissies. They are very religious criminals. I really pity them because kenyan are pretty rough people and our jails very rough. The 64 guy who was deported - all he remember is bloodshot eyes of kenyans - .You don't want to be a criminal in Kenya. Wuoche: |
470M dollars owed to all power producers. Ghana 1B owed to IPPS alone. We have even talked about what is owed to Volta dam company. Remember our biggest producer is Kengen - which is gov. So it just gov company owing another gov company. vaxx: |
It's their ticket out of Ghana. Just like Nigerian doctors. How many are in Ghana...and how many have left. There are about 52,258 individuals currently formally working in the health sector in public, CHAG, private, Islamic Missions, quasi-government and other organizations in Ghana. Kenya has 170,000 health proffesional in public sector alone. vaxx: |
Ghana power woes. Can't pay. Won't pay. IPP owed 1B dollars. Independent power producers (IPPs) in Ghana have entreated the government to pay 80 per cent of the $1 billion owed them. In a notice to the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), the Chamber of Independent Power Producers, Distributors and Bulk Consumers expressed its resolve to withdraw its services if payment was not made soon https://africa-energy-portal.org/news/ghana-settle-debt-avoid-withdrawal-services-power-producers |
Seriously nurses - who care about them. Doctors yes. But a nurse can be trained easily. Those are low cadre staff. Not proffesionals. They are technician. leQubit: |
You spent nothing. International power producers brought their thermal plants and quickly set up - knowing you'll pay them for many years. You already refused to honour some contracts. You may need all your lawyers soon to battle them. Already US gov kicked Ghana out of POWER AFRICA for that reason. Just30: |
I am sure they don't even bother to tell you when they are doing maintainance. Besides in kenya - most areas now have LIVE maintainance - and redundancy line. I doubt Ghana has reached there. As regard investment - you spent ZERO. ZERO. What happened - you told people with huge generators to bring them to Ghana - and you'll pay them - very handsomely - for long time in TAKE OR PAY IPP contracts. They brought huge generators to Ghana - with about half of it just IDLE BUT ITS PAY OR TAKE IPP. You went bankrupt when you attempted to pay for it. Last I heard you were now refusing to pay - and US gov had placed sanctions. By the time you're done paying for 13B dollars worth of IPP - you'll have gone to IMF bailout for another 17 times. Just30: |
Thermal plants - that bankrupted your country - and you recently got off IMF colonial grip. vaxx: |
You should help Nigeria avoid paying 9B dollars for gas project that never took off. I am sure there is lawyer ranking somewhere...and Ghana isn't great. vankelvin: |
He was not average. He rose through the ranks in Ghana and became CJ. We demoted him to high court judge and he slowly rose again to be CJ. That kind of resilience is admirable. It makes you the best slaves on earth. This is what happened to your proffesional - they go abroad - and they start again - go to school - get degrees again - and then work their way up. Admirable slavery tradition. Just30: |
Why is electricity big deal - ohoo because 5yrs ago - you were like Nigeria - and you spent yourself to bankruptcy - bought huge thermal generators - at least you're now better Kenya except for the drought of 1999 - for I think 3 months - we have no history of electricity blackouts or load shedding. It doesn't even exist in our lingua franca. In kenya history load shedding can be counted in one hand - maybe it's happened twice the last 60yrs. vaxx: |
Look here we have no problem with proffesional ghanians, indians, chinese - or investors. We like people like Fred. But your low brain type - we don\'t want them. Just30: |
Now they are being sent to prison first. After serving jail term - we can send them home. At least they work for free for kenya gov. leQubit: |
I bet his kids are somewhere in Nairobi - not Accra. They cannot live modern city for a cattle kraal. The oldman maybe. vaxx: |
They are so much an issue we are probably spending 10M dollars annually deporting them - and they come back. Some twitter user.. Are they in Kenya with work valid permits or tourist visas ama wanaingia tu Kenya kiholela. They are so many of them in Nairobi and I know they are not expatriates. I wonder how many Kenyans can be allowed in Nigeria to do what this guys do here 68816419:

After 13yrs - he probably even acquired kenya citizenship. Honestly why would he go back to Ghana. vaxx: |
I have met many ghanians and nigerian abroad - very old people - committed to die in europe - and their kids too. Brain drain has left your country very poor. vankelvin: |
Those in prisons are known. Those in Roysambu and other areas are mostly illegal. 68816419: |
We didn't pick him - he took a flight as refugee to kenya running for dear life because your military was determined to kill anybody with brain in your country - and we hired him as high court judge - while he had been CJ already. Now after military was done sending away all the brains out - what remain in GHANA now is - you guys!!!!!!!!!!! BRAIN DEAD. vankelvin: |
We gave him a job after his colleagues were murdered -The killings of the Supreme Court justices (Cecilia Koranteng-Addow, Frederick Sarkodie, and Kwadjo Agyei Agyepong) in 1980-1981 - send many Ghanians judges scampering for their lives. He was not good to sit on our court of appeal - so we started him as high court judge. vaxx: |
Fred Kwasi was CJ in Ghana in 1977 - and then shiet hit the fan - and he run to kenya for dear life - became junior high court judge Two years later, on 31 December 1981 Rawlings ousted President Hilla Limann in a coup d'état, claiming that civilian rule was weak and the country's economy was deteriorating. The killings of the Supreme Court justices (Cecilia Koranteng-Addow, Frederick Sarkodie, and Kwadjo Agyei Agyepong), military officers Major Sam Acquah and Major Dasana Nantogmah also occurred during the second military rule of Rawlings. However, unlike the 1979 executions, these persons were abducted and killed in secret and it is unclear who was behind their murders, though Joachim Amartey Kwei and four others were convicted of murdering the Justices and Acquah, and were executed in 1982.[19] |
