Write ur SOP, outlining reasons for ur course of study and career goals. If u got a new program of study, den u need a new SOP that will fit Gennyoma19: Good morning everybody. Let’s keep the hope alive. Please my question is this, for a second time applicant that has changed the course he/she applied for in the previous application, is there a need to write another SOP or only a letter of explanation will suffice, or both. Thank you. |

Maybe a judicial review would be a good idea. If you dnt mind, u could send ur sop and gcms note into my mailbox. naijaoyibo: Yes, Letter of explanation was almost five pages. We even added a table with breakdown of all the payments we have made, and how we would pay the remaining tuition from the money I sent to her account. |

Did you properly explain this lump sum in your SOP? Did the sponsor also state all these in his/her sponsorship letter? naijaoyibo: We already paid 20,000$ worth of tuition. Also, we already transferred the remaining school fees and living expenses to the applicants account. About 23M Naira. |

No pre-assessment note? amr12: Hello House,
I got my GCMS note this morning, i have applied since march 7th and also submitted NSE document after they requested for it. I did medicals in April and it was updated to pass on the 14 of June. can someone explain what the snapshot below means. My application is over 3 month. |

Maybe you'll need to make a commitment before your next application, eitherby paying a full year tuition or living expenses. Nevertheless, get ur gcms note before you re-apply. All the best. naijaoyibo: After the first refusal in 2019, we did our best to package the whole thing.
In the LOE and Letter of Sponsorship, I broke down my statement of account (sponsor) and also attached receipts of my business. Turnover and balance on accounts were huge figures. Also in the LOE, we explained how the lump sump I sent to her would be used to effect payment of the remaining tuition and living cost. She also added her bank statement, letter of employment from a reputable company and ties to some social and NGOs in Nigeria.
I as the sponsor also listed and attached evidence of some of my Landed properties and assets; explained carefully how this payment will not in anyway affect me since I am single and have no kids.
Personal account of sponsor with balance in the eight figure range. Business account of sponsor with balance in the nine figure range.
Even with the gift of deed of a lump sum, the Canadian commission still deemed it fit to reject the application with the generic reason;
" I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status"
Experts in the house, what options/ways can a young lady of 24 years old use to prove home times to Nigeria? |

Yes, sitting balance matters. Also, the check the inflow and outflow of cash, to show that the person is well established/business is flourishing which in turn gives the impression that such person can afford to spend such thousands of dollars on a degree. I hope this helps. saucekid50: Goodday guys, Please I have some questions.
1. What do they look for in bank statement.? I mean is it the number of transactions or turnover over the last six months or a year.
2. Is it the current balance in the account that is used in visa processing.? |

Did u add ur uncle's CAC docs? Try let him make payment for ur 1st year tuition or let him deposit living expenses into ur account. How many years is ur program? Feel free to contact me sir. Abbey0911: The v.o talked so much about ur uncle's finances and lump sum. Please what does your uncle do for a living? Did you submit support documents? He's into real estate. I designed most of his building.
-How old are you? Did u submit evidence of your employment/income. I'm 34years and yes I did
-Did your uncle make any commitment? Like payment of 1 semester or 1 full year tuition deposit? No he didn't but I paid $4,000CAD to University of Windsor has deposit.
-You also need to work very well on ur SOP and make it concise. Seems the v.o doesn't understand your career path, and doesn't seem to see anything reasonable abt ur study plan. You're right. Can I send my SOP to you for comments pls?.
Thank you so much Otunba |

Yes, SOP for visa is different from that of admission. sOP for Admission could be from 1-4 pages. Pls check if the school has specific requirements for SOP. All best. shagamite: Sorry , is the SOP for visa different from the one written as requirement for admission. How many pages should it be for the admission requirements |

It is assumed that once there's many years of study gap and there is work experience in another field, it is better to go for studies in a program that aligns with your current work. That does not only make it easier for u to write ur SOP, it also makes it look real to the v.o. It will be more reasonable that u wanna study at a higher level to improve ur expertise at work. So that's just the logic, not like it is an auto approval or denial. If all ur documents are ready, move on to apply, and if not, September is not too late, but u could make it earlier, mayb July or August. All the best. emmalextemtop: Hello!
Please what is this study gap of a thing, if it so long, does it also determine the approval of a visa? I.e for those that have years of working experience or it's bEen long they've studied.
Finished B.Tech 2019. Currently working after Nysc since Nov. 2020. Looking forward for winter, Jan 2022.
And then, is it advisable to submit my application for Jan 2022 now or later. Looking forward to apply by Sept when my docs are ready and available, should i wait for IRCC to state out a stipulated time for application like they did for May 15?
I asked this base on what have seen and personally deduced from people's application, applying the time the IRCC wants them to apply as they are treating such application in a particular month and if applied earlier or later than that, it's going to be delayed.
Please, what's your take on this? Thanks! |

I applied 11th March, 2021 and my status still shows that eligibility hasn't begun, but I posted some days ago where I talked about my eligibility being in progress, as per response received from IRCC. So, no worries, eligibility is on going, it's not jst been updated on GCKey. All the best. Rae3355: Hi, Congratulations to all those who received PPR recently.
Any March applicants in the house?
I applied on March 27th and the eligibility review has not started - should I be worried?? Medical passed - April 13
I received NSE request in April too but I ignored it, should I have responded?
Thanks |

WASSCE result since 2017? What have you beem doing since 2017? No ND, HND or BSc? Psamuelh: Good evening all. Please I'm new here and I hope to share testimonies too. I just want to push some questions to the house before commencing my application process, thanks in anticipation for you truthful answers. First, I want to employ the service of an agent to apply for study visa but I want to confirm if her offers are real as she said. First, she said the schools her company partners with do not require tution deposits, how true? Secondly, she said I can choose to defer my admission on getting to Canada after completing all necessary registrations in school,is this possible? Also, she said just my WAEC result is needed as I want to apply for an undergraduate program, won't not doing IELTS be a problem? Won't it also be a problem that my WAEC is 2017?
Thanks all. I'd appreciate all answers |

It is very possible, it just depends on how well you can outline your career goals and convince the visa officer. Although, it's usually better to go for a degree that is higher. Mzstacie: I have an mph. I’m applying for pgc health management due to the nature of my work here, will it be a hinderance? |

There's no additional benefit, as long as you can do it yourself, I only asked. If you previously used an agent, it's better you request for gcms plus note which comes with all filled forms and docs, because an agent might av added or subtracted some info, and as you know, any discrepancy can lead to a 5years ban. You could get your UCI and application number on the refusal letter or GCKey account. What category of visa did you apply for? tonnymexx: Please how do I get my UCI and Application no |
