poseidon12: Stupid man, what you are saying about the State Governors also applies to the President. There is no guarantee of tenure for an IG of Police that fails to carry out an illegal order from a President. We saw how Buhari used the Police and the Army to snatch ballot boxes in the last election. There should be laws put in place to guarantee tenure for the heads of State Police. The State Governors should not be able to fire the Police Chief except he goes to the State Assembly to get two-third majority support. Same should apply to the Presidency and IG of Police. The benefits of having State and Local Government Police far outweigh the disadvantages. Without State Police, we can never handle security challenges in this country. I believe that Buhari will never support the establishment of State Police because that will hamper his Fulanization and Islamization agenda. You kind of made sense but its not enough to call the man stupid. laws need to be put in place |

TooMuchStuff: Cos it won't favour Fulanis and their killings business.
Cos it would mean all the CPs would be indigenes of same state they serve. This will make poverty stricken northern states to have all the current CPs of rich southern states by force
That would end fulani herdsmen and their menaces within few days cos boys would be protecting their father's land with full government guns as local police. Dont also Forget that police work on instruction. Sitting governors will do too much evil with it, its good but we are not ready for it with our political state |

tydi: Probably you were acting as the man of the house but never knew it, I guess you happen to be the first child, if not, then you got matured and became wiser on time and your mum noticed and saw that in you. Eventually she is also a very prayerful woman.. Kudos to her. She is you guys hero Yes, she is our hero. I'm the third child, i agree with looking well into the family of an individual before going for marriage but using single mothers as a yardstick to choosing partners is a no no. I've see families where both parents are together yet they turn out bad . i just hope to find a good woman when the time comes |

tydi: Any single mother that raised a daughter, she will definitely become a single mom too in the future also does any woman that disrespects her husband in the presence of her children(daughters) they will end up doing same when they get married to their various husbands. Women are so tantamount in behaviors.
Good night, good friend. My mom raised 4 girls and 1 boy as a single mon, two of my sisters are married for about 10 years now, the other 2 still in school. How do you explain that? |

0coded80: greediness cause it. Not all is caused by greed. Once had a girlfriend who her mom thought school was only about school fees and house rent. She Dont buy books or send feeding money. Once in a while, she send like 2-3k that will not be enough to do anything. I fed this girl in school, she uses my text books cause we were in same dept. Just think what she would have resulted to if i hadn't taken care of her in school |

godwon01: She supposed to have showing some respect to her late husband. Nobody said she should not marry but she over do it. That shows the love with her late husband was not genuine. Anyway , I wish her happy married life .May the new found man give her the joy that was deprived of her by her late husband. Just see comments, so the extent to which you go with your marriage ceremony now shows how much you love your husband? |

wonder233: What prevents this wh0re from doing a quiet wedding? No! Cos Nigerian women are scandalous by nature, she has to show the world how she had been shamelessly sleeping with younger guys even while her husband was alive, hale and hearty. Will you shut up? I'm sure she is old enough to be you mom, we talk of respect in Nigeria culture, you are fighting for respect for the dead but cannot respect the living. HYPOCRATE |

Mynd44: If it was a wife that died would the husband had settled for a low-key wedding?
She doesn't owe anybody anything. Her loyalty to her husband died when he died and she is a free woman who is free to enjoy her life in peace without people criticising her Thank you my brother, i nor just understand some people. To even think that some girls are supporting the low key marriage thing is funny, thats how they tie theirselves down uneccessrily as if the marriage vow didnt say "till death do us part" |
