Politics › Re: Meet The 10 Powerful Men That Took Nigerians To The Next Level by Ryocaj(m): 1:53pm On Jul 15, 2019 |
AlexReports: The re-election of Muhammadu Buhari as Nigeria's president may not have come as much of a surprise to many Nigerians, but there were some powerful men who made sure that the reelection bid was successful.
As President Buhari got reelected, these 10 politicians played significant roles in their corner.
Here are the 10 men who stood firm with President Muhammadu Buhari during the electioneering season.
1. Bola Tinubu
The Jagaban Borgu has been one of President Buhari's strongest ally since 2015 and 2019 Elections wasn't left out as Dr. Bola Tinubu and his south west men strongly threw their weight behind Mr. President
Most of the electioneering campaigns in South Western part of the country were sponsored by APC National Leader, Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his foot-soliders.
2. Adams Oshiomhole
Former Governor of Edo State and Current National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole played a significant role in the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari, Oshiomhole was a bare-knuckled, hands-on campaigner whose time as labour leader still endears him to the grassroots.
Despite the disunity of the party after the Gubernatorial and legislative party primaries, Comrade Oshiomhole still didn't allow that support him from campaigning in all 36states of the federation.
3. Rotimi Amaechi
He could lay down his life for Buhari if it came to that.
A good talker who packs a punch and then some, Transport minister Amaechi never shies away from picking fights for the cause.
He has taken on everyone as he defends the government he serves in—from the PDP, to Rivers Governor Wike, to anyone who says the APC has performed poorly since it assumed the reins at the center.
He’s also not afraid to fight dirty, giving as good as he gets.
4. Nasir Elrufai
Kaduna Governor Elrufai told whoever cared to listen that all the APC Governors will back Buhari’s re-election bid.
Elrufai also told former Vice President Atiku Abubakar not to waste his time and money because Buhari will be unbeatable in 2019.
And he says it with chutzpah, with pride and with reckless abandon.
Elrufai talks a good game and could be brutally honest, perhaps a bit too much for his own good.
Call him Buhari’s adopted son and you’d be darn right.
5. Abubakar Malami
Currently the Attorney General of the Federation and Former Legal Adviser to President Buhari's party, Congress for Progressive Change.
Abubakar Malami's role in the last election was one of the strongest reason why President Muhammadu Buhari came back, he stood firmly with Mr. President to stop any legal orders that would've hindered President Buhari's reelection bid.
6. Rochas Okorocha
The former Governor of Imo State, Sen. Rochas Okorocha is a deft political player with the nous of a veteran. He’s pivoted to the APC for a while now and has been singing the praises of Buhari.
He may just be the man who sells the APC to a Southeast region where it is most derided.
Rochas Okorocha was the convener of South East For Buhari and other initiatives that aided President Buhari's increased votes in the South East Region.
7. Babatunde Fashola
Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola's commitment and contribution to President Buhari's 2019 campaign was tremendously high.
Apart from being the Director of Election Planning and Monitoring for President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign, the Former Minister led several campaign groups for Mr. President especially in the South Western Region.
8. Mallam Adamu Adamu
Mallam Adamu Adamu, the Education Minister is one of the ministers who stood firmly with President Buhari during the "Next Level Electioneering Season" The Bauchi State born politician was a columnist before he joined the cabinet and has been a close associate of the President right from the Petroleum Task Fund, PTF, days when President Buhari was chairman of the Fund didn't abandon his friend, President Buhari.
Mallam Adamu Adamu also served as the secretary of President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Council.
9. Col. Hammed Ali
The Comptroller General (CG) of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Alhaji Hammed Ali Was one silent Supporter President Buhari had.
Hammed Ali was the national leader of the Buhari Support Organisation (BSO), he used the organization to sponsor countless Voters Education Campaign and Door to Door Campaign for Mr. President.
10. Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo
The Anambra Born APC Chieftain, High. Chief Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo's role remains significant.
He has been a supporter of President Buhari since his days in CPC, High. Chief Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo was one of the brain behind the biggest support group for Mr. President, Good Governance Ambassadors of Nigeria (GOGAN), during the Electioneering season, his other support group, G23 For President Buhari focused primarily in the South East Region and sponsored thousands of rallies, campaigns in the region.
He believed that re-electing President Buhari is critical to moving the country to the next level of infrastructural and economic development.

logon599: Massive work still needs to be done on this Arsenal squad. I looked at that team yesterday and honestly I saw only 6 players good enough to remain in Arsenal if truly they have any strong ambitions of challenging for anything: Aubameyang, Lacazette, Torreira, Guendouzi, Sokratis and Koscielny. The rest are the reason why Arsenal won't win anything major in the next five years. And yes I didn't include Iwobi even though he was Arsenal's best player yesterday, one or two good games doesn't make him a player you can depend on for the course of a season. Ask yourself will Iwobi get into the Man city or Liverpool squad? Don't be sentimental pls. I made my own assessment, you are free to make yours. Thanks its funny u didn't c Arsenal's best player on d night.. Granite Xhaka.. His passes were sublime n penetrating.. not one wrong pass from him.. Aubameyang is a waste. he should b playing in Sheffield Wednesday.. Mailtand-Niles should still b in d U23 team. Aw can u make 3 costly errors in an European Cup Final |

Kazim88: You are still NOT getting the point.
That the 36 governor of Nigeria are thieves doesn't mean everybody should be a thief .
Government has no plan whatsover to create jobs talk less of "well paying" , that doesn't mean we all would steal, beg or do fraud to live.
Any body that choose to loot should loot. If you choose Yahoo.. FINE, if na Olosho you choose. Na ur life .
But no come de give us stupid excuse. Most rich men for Naija started poor, very poor. Young Shall Grow Motors owner started as a vulcanizer , slept in the garage. Dangote was a store keeper.
Only the ignorant still look up to the government Dangote was never poor from d start.. his grandfather was among d first set that saved in First Bank. he saved 20bags of cowries.. ppl like u will neva make naija better.. u r content wit d useless govt.. everyone has a choice.. but I feel there are more pressing issues.. Nigeria's popukation is 201million.. 92 million live in abject poverty.. dis stats shocked Theresa May wen she came 2 Nigeria.. Buhari since he took over has impoverished Nigerians more all in d name of fighting corruption.. All d recovered loots where are they? C sanity is maintained in a thriving economy.. Everyday different criminal sects keep springing up due 2 hunger.. tackle joblessness n c d country improve.. U will change ur tone wen it gets unbearable 4 u too.. we are abt 2 slide back into recession.. D useless EFCC keep arresting yahoo boys.. let's c wat happens wen almost all youths av been jailed.. m not advocating for yahoo.. I just feel yahoo shouldn't av come into play in d first stance if those in d govt seats were intelligent n not clueless.. |
Politics › Re: Advice To President Buhari About EFCC And Yahoo. by Ryocaj(m): 8:26am On May 27, 2019 |
GrabHisBalls: No, you didn't make any sense to me. Seems more like a yahoo boy supporting his likes while he claims not to be one. Even if there are jobs, most of you are either uneducated, unqualified, or qualified paper-wise, but unproductive. You all want to make money quick, without going through the rigors of making money. Success isn't cheap if you have to do it right.
Stop making excuses for stupid people. No country can attain full employment. The best they can do is to get a higher percentage of its citizens employed...people who are ready and willing to be employed. When you keep screaming that education is a scam, why won't you steal? Even in the face of unemployment, there are those who are going about their businesses legitimately while you choose to be a kidnapper, yahoo boy, armed robber, etc. Choices have consequences. Let the EFCC be. An average yahoo boy is far smarter dan u are.. Do u think someone very dull can scam foreigners.. He made sense in d first paragraph.. but abt d EFCC.. he contradicted himself.. Let d Govt use d recovered loots 2 create well paying jobs 4 youths.. If there are good well paying jobs out there in abundance n they still continue doing yahoo.. den u can jail dem.. Politicians keep looting.. imagine $16m for mosquito nets.. it is absurd.. If u want 2 prosecute yahoo boys.. first prosecute these politicians.. den d oloshos too.. these girls live dream lives by sleeping with politicians who have looted Nigeria badly.. they r accomplices.. Buhari just wants 2 impoverish Nigerians so they will b at d utmost mercy of d govt n won't b able 2 fight or speakup.. so they accept any bullshit thrown at dem.. my advice is make good money n leave Nigeria.. this is a failed nation.. |
