GUY YOU FORGOT TO MENTION CAC REGISTRATION
READ BELOW

MY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH COOPERATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION
I created an account on CAC portal at services.CAC.gov.ng for registration of my company, I was asked to pay a token of 500 naira for name availability with two names option I made the payment in Diamond bank through REMITA platform the name was denied in the first attempt while they approved it in second attempt with the same process.
I proceeded to pre- registration with the same portal platform, I fill all required information after completion, REMITA reference number was generated for the payment of registration with a fee of #10, 000 which I paid to REMITA through Stanbic bank . CAC refused to confirm my payment on the platform, I made a call to the portal customer care, I was told to go to the CAC office at YABA
On the second day I went to the said place with my international passport, two passport, receipt of REMITA for both reservation of name and registration thinking I will continue my registration from the office, to my great surprise, I was told to go to the account section to confirm the receipt, after confirmation on CAC system, it was said that the receipt is valid but cannot be accepted because the receipt did not indicate my proposed company name.
At this point I knew I was in trouble as I tried to explain how the whole process went but the staff attending to me insisted that was the instruction, I started begging him that I just lost my job, it took me a month to raise the money, he later said I should go and see the zonal head that he is the only one that can help in this situation, on getting to the zonal head office I met the staff chatting as if they were in a market, after pushing me from one officer to another I had to spend about 30-45mins before his secretary could attended to me, she collected my documents and went inside “Oga’s “ office, after 15mins she came back and told me her boss said he doesn’t know anything about online registration and he can’t help that I should write for refund. At this moment I was so helpless.
Both customer service numbers on the portal is switched off, I sent email personally to the portal administrator no acknowledgment, no response.
MY QUESTIONS
1. Is online registration a fraud?
2. Is it possible for the CAC Yaba Zonal head not to know anything about online registration
3. In Nigeria of today is it possible for federal government to refund money.

Politics#dasukigate: Buhari’s Associate, Jafaru Isa, Returns N100million To EFCC by SaAbbas(op): 10:19am On Jan 11, 2016
A former military governor of Kaduna State and chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Jafaru Isa, has refunded N100million of the N170 million he allegedly received from embattled ex-NSA, Sambo Dasuki.

Mr. Isa, a retired brigadier-general, was arrested on Wednesday by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, at his Asokoro residence in Abuja.
Mr. Isa, a political associate of President Muhammadu Buhari, was grilled for several hours in connection with about N170 million he received from Mr. Dasuki.

A reliable source familiar with the matter told PREMIUM TIMES the APC chieftain and member of the 19-man Buhari Transition Committee was released after refunding N100million to the anti-graft commission.
The source said Mr. Isa pledged to return the remaining N70million soon.
“We let him go after returning the sum of N100million. We are expecting him to return the rest soon,” the source said.
According to him, some of the suspected recipients of the slush funds who claimed they had no idea the money sent to them was taken from the public till were handed opportunities to return what they got from the former NSA but refused.

PoliticsZaria Killings: NSCIA Warns Nigerian Govt., Military Against Creating Another Bo by SaAbbas(op): 9:03pm On Dec 14, 2015
The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs
(NSCIA) has warned the Nigerian military authorities
against plunging the country into another Boko Haram-
like insurgency with the repeated attacks on members of
the Islamic Movement of Nigeria.
In a statement Sunday, the NSCIA said in a statement by
its Secretary General, Is-haq Oloyede, that it was
shocked and saddened by the fresh outbreak of deadly
violence in Zaria.
Several members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria
were reportedly killed by troops of the Nigerian Army
after a confrontation on Saturday in Zaria.
The Army also reportedly arrested the leader of the
movement, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, while it also destroyed
his home and the spiritual headquarters of his group.
“While there are claims and counter-claims on what
actually precipitated the latest heart-rending incident,
the NSCIA urges the authorities to exercise restraint,”
Mr. Oloyede said.
He also said the history of the circumstances that
engendered the outbreak of militant insurgency in the
past, with serious consequences that Nigeria is yet to
recover from, should not be allowed to repeat itself.
The Boko Haram sect took up arms against the Nigerian
state when its leader, Mohammed Yusuf, was
extrajudicially murdered by the Nigeria Police.

“We urge the Federal Government to immediately
constitute a Judicial Commission of Inquiry to
thoroughly unravel the immediate and remote causes of
the current mayhem.
“Besides, the Commission should also investigate the
past incidents involving the Movement so that justice
can be done,” the NSCIA said.
It said the sanctity of human life is inviolable in Islam
and painstaking efforts should be made at all times to
prevent bloodshed.
“In other words, life is sacred and the fundamental
responsibility of government is to guarantee the security
of life and property.
“While no group should be allowed to constitute law unto itself or
arrogate unconstitutional powers to itself under any guise, the fact still
remains that the position of the law is clear when there is any breach.
“Therefore, as order is the first law of heaven, normalcy and restraint
should be taken seriously.
“May the Almighty Allah guide our leaders right and guard us Nigerians
against our own indiscretion at all times,” the statement said.
Several persons were killed Saturday afternoon after soldiers opened fire
on members of the sect, who they said put up barricades and blocked the
road to be used by Army chief, Tukur Buratai.
The Army also reportedly returned to the sect’s enclave, known as
Husainiyyah, and the residence of Mr. Zakzaky late in the evening.
A fresh encounter there led to the death of the immediate members of Mr.
Zakzaky’s family and others in the house at the time.
Zeenat, the wife of Mr. Zakzaky, and Aliy, his son, were among scores of
people killed by the Army during the siege, the group said.
There was a similar confrontation between the group and the military in
July 2014.
Members of the sect were on a procession to mark the annual Quds day in
Zaria that day when soldiers reportedly shot at them at the popular PZ
roundabout in the city.
The crisis started when the soldiers allegedly tried to disperse the sect,
which was denouncing Israeli’s attacks on Gaza.

Mr. Zakzaky’s three biological sons, Mahmud, Ahmad and Hamid as well
as 32 other members of the Islamic Movement were shot dead.
Mahmud was a student of Almustapha University, Beirut, Ahmad a
Chemical Engineering student of Shenyang University, China and Hamid
an Aeronautical Engineering student of Xiang University, also in China.
A fourth son of the cleric, Ali, was shot in the leg. He survived.

PoliticsBuhari Initiates Moves To Produce Weapons Locally by SaAbbas(op): 9:04pm On Aug 07, 2015
President Muhammadu Buhari, Friday in Abuja, directed the Federal Ministry of Defence to produce a plan for the establishment of a modest Military Industrial Complex for the local production of weapons to meet some of the requirements of the country’s armed forces.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the National Defence College, President Buhari described as unacceptable, Nigeria’s current over-dependence on other countries for critical military equipment and logistics.

“We must evolve viable mechanisms for near-self-sufficiency in military equipment and logistics production complemented only by very advanced foreign technologies.

“The Ministry of Defence is being tasked to draw up clear and measurable outlines for development of a modest Military Industrial Complex for Nigeria.

“In this regard, it is to liaise with other strategic MDAs and industries to re-engineer the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) to meet national military hardware and logistics requirements,” the President said.

President Buhari told the gathering that his administration had, since its assumption of office, reviewed the nature and character of Nigeria’s security threats and challenges.

“We recognized first and foremost, the external dimensions of these threats and the need for international cooperation and common security mechanisms to tackle them,” the President said.

President Buhari added that in the light of this realization, his administration was “convinced that the best approach was to work within the framework of the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) to mobilize a collective regional effort in the fight against terrorism and insurgency.

The President urged the graduates and officers and men of the Armed Forces to work harder to win the war against Boko Haram, terrorism and insurgency.

“We must apply a comprehensive strategy and coordinate all elements of national power against terrorism and insurgency; we must show result oriented leadership at all levels of military Command; we must set up an optimal organization to manage and sustain operational performance; and we must show confidence and winning mentality,” President Buhari told them.

The President assured that the Federal Government under his leadership will strive to meet the operational, logistic, training and welfare requirements of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to ameliorating the hardships of people living in areas most affected by insurgency and terrorism.

“We have the will, resolve and conviction to apply a comprehensive strategy and coordinate all elements of national power against terrorism and insurgency,” the President reassured Nigerians and the international community.

President Buhari said that the National Defence College had fulfilled the vision of its founding fathers, by becoming a strategic human capacity-building institution, making credible contributions to Nigeria and other friendly countries.

The President urged graduates of the College’s Course 23 to resolve to make “a marked difference in your future deployment and contribute your quota to the evolution and implementation of national security, defence and military strategies.

“You should be the source that lights up the environment wherever you find yourselves.”
