A pastor was forced to marry the corpse of his late fiancée who he is alleged to have killed by carrying out an abortion on her while she was unconscious.

Rev Dr. Sucess Emeka Sunday, who owns the church, Life Transformation Praying Ministry, in Akwakuma, Owerri, started dating Chioma Okoye 5 years ago and they got engaged in 2020 and started planning their wedding.

Chioma, 32, soon became pregnant while wedding plans were underway but the pastor didn't want the baby as his church frowns upon pregnancy before marriage and it would damage his reputation.

The family of the deceased claim that Pastor Sunday invited Chioma over on Feb 24, 2021, and gave her a drink laced with a drug and she became unconscious after consuming it.

He reportedly took her to a hospital and asked for a doctor to terminate the pregnancy. The doctor is said to have refused but the pastor allegedly insisted.

During the procedure, Chioma reportedly started vomiting blood and the doctor advised that the deceased be taken to FMC.

At FMC, Rev. Sunday allegedly registered his fiancée with a different name and then called her family to let them know she was ill.

Chioma reportedly died before her family could intervene.

Wilfred Okoye, who released a statement on behalf of the family, said an autopsy showed there was a drug in her system and also showed that the pastor had allegedly tried to perform an abortion on her by himself while she was unconscious before eventually taking her to the hospital.

After being presented with the autopsy result, the pastor is said to have confessed to drugging her in order to terminate her pregnancy.

The family of the deceased made the pastor marry Chioma before her funeral.

She was buried on Tuesday, August 31 in Umuahia, Abia.

Her name on her obituary poster was changed to include the pastor's name as a sign that he had married her.

Family members say churches still call Rev Sunday to preach and he's still a theology teacher at Bethel Seminary.

And so he was initiated to the world of death.

What a world of sins and iniquity.

He even got mind to do abortio. And he allowed himself to be called a pastor.

What a curse. Though our God is a merciful God, he is also consuming fire.

Salary being calculated on hourly rate doesn't mean they are paid hourly na!
Why is it that comprehension is getting more difficult over here!!Some posts make you wonder how educated some people are.

Yet, there is difference.

If your pay is based on the hours you put in, whether you are paid immediately or not, you will not get more than what you earned.

On the other hand, if your pay is fixed, whether you work or not, you will get your full pay.

That is the difference.

Either way it pays the company, depending on available production/operation capacity.

Yesterday, my team members were working on their official assignment when our direct supervisor called them to return immediately to the office because he wants to use the operational vehicle to go to a meeting outside the office. Unfortunately for them, they were held down by a job that they believed must be cleared before the day runs out.

My supervisor got angry with them for coming back late and told them they are not permitted to go to field for the rest of the week, just because of yesterday's offence. And this decision is obviously without the knowledge of his higher superiors.

Having a discussion with these team members, this kept me asking what if this is a hourly payment job that their salaries will be paid based on their hourly input, is this how he will stop them for no genuine reason.

But wait!, why is Nigeria not using the hourly payment system, won't it have been better in every way?

Your supervisor acted against the interest of the company. What was the benefit of the meeting to the company, compared to the productivity of of the staff whose pay are not time based but fixed!

A serious argument ensued in my office after we conducted an interview for new entrants into our firm, while some of the people interviewed said they will 'work for us', one or two persons said they will 'work with us'.

One of the interview team members rather saw the use of the word, "work with us" as form of pride and that such people should not be employed in the firm, while the others are of the view that they do not see something wrong in the use of the word 'work with'. Different people gave different interpretation to the words.
