Coronavirus: 10 reasons why total lockdown is a waste of time and cannot work in Nigeria I’ll Summarize the Points to back up this claim in the thread 1. We Cannot afford it African countries easily copied the template of “stay at home” or lockdown orders, as in many Western countries but didn’t copy the accurate distribution of funds ranging from $1000-$1500 to citizens 2. No Credible Data Nigeria does not have credible demographic data to identify and target the most vulnerable unlike the western world. The Government doesn’t even know where the most Vulnerable ate located! They just give money to People who in turn embezzle it and post photos 3. There is no Effective Execution The Covid Cases keeps increasing everyday and if the Lockdown is a way to reduce or halt the spread of the Virus, then from the results it’s clearly not working and counter productive as a matter of Fact. 4. There is no Exit Plan The idea of Lockdown is to contain the spread in a given time and if it’s not contained in that period, there will be extensions. If Point 3 above is still valid, then there’s clearly no plan to stop the Lockdown. Which is a suicidal waiting game. So the cases continue to double and we continue to stay at home without no source of income. Soon savings will be exhausted and people will be forced to come out to hustle for food since point No1 is still valid and then we are back to point No 2. 5. Hunger Virus Africans have had high rates of poverty and hunger even without the CV19, now this just throws us into more hunger and in a couple of weeks, people will have more health issues sprung up from Malnutrition and hunger. 6. Health Pandemic In normal times, thousands die every day in Africa due to other illnesses and communicable diseases — cholera, malaria, lassa fever, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, zika virus, measles, small pox etc Lockdowns worsen these as many of the victims of these now have little or no cash to attend to themselves. Soon the pharmacy shops will run out of imported drugs with Border restrictions in China and India. Local adulterated drugs sales will increase to fill that gap, it’s now a life or death situation. 7. Politicians are doing Photo Charity, in Nigeria’s Language “Audio Charity”. Much fanfare, drop a few currency notes or grains here and there for some hundreds, when millions are in desperate need, just to be seen to have “done something” 8. Crime Pandemic Phew, everyone saw this coming, we just didn’t expect it so soon. The Touts see this as an elite problem and for them, “the hunger Virus is more dangerous than corona virus”. The desperate ones are forced to take desperate actions to survive 9. Many Firms will die! Most of the owners of MSMEs will probably consume their business capital during the lockdowns, with no clear helpline afterwards. It won’t be long Business owners may not be able to sustain the work from home or pay salaries 10. Agriculture will be hit hard Agriculture in Africa is rain-fed and seasonal. Lockdowns during the planting season could threaten food security in months ahead. Inflation will shoot up while people who need transport to their farms cannot do so. |
Reminder For those contributed to the imposition of Abdullahi Ganduje on the people of Kano in 2019 election, for the presidency and party leadership that over turned the election and influenced court decisions, this is the result of your actions. Wallahi you will stand before Allah and account for the innocent souls you actively contributed to wiped out. Here this from Prof. Usman Yusuf KANO CITY IS NOW THE KILLING FIELDS OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN AFRICA By Prof. Usman Yusuf 25th April 2020 I raised alarm in an article I wrote which was published in the Daily Trust Newspaper (page 6) on April 22nd, 2020 on how COVID-19 was ravaging Kano city. I opined that if urgent action was not taken by the Federal Government, the city could become the epicenter of the virus on the African continent. Recognizing the disastrous consequences of such a scenario, I offered recommendations that could help stem the slide. Today, I raise my voice again, this time to join the growing chorus of people both within and outside the State who are horrified by Kano State Government’s (KNSG) cavalier response to this pandemic seeing it as a growing danger to the lives of people in Kano, its neighbors and also a threat to our National Security. Nigeria as a nation needs to wake up to the ever-present danger of the cascading domino effect of COVID-19 infection in Kano spreading to the Northwest zone, the Northwest zone infects the rest of the North, the North infects the whole nation, Nigeria infects the West African subregion, which then infects the rest of Africa, thereby destabilizing the whole continent. A heart-breaking audio clip making rounds on social media of a grieving grandmother who had just lost her son-in-law to COVID-19 in Kano city sums up the feeling of helplessness of people in the city. She was venting her frustrations at NCDC officials in Kano who switched off their phones and those at their HQ. in Abuja that refused to return her calls when she desperately needed them. She narrated how her son-in-law was initially taken to a Private Hospital then transferred to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) where he died shortly after arrival. It is now common knowledge in Kano that NCDC officials in the city are not responding to people’s distress calls because they are short-staffed and have no working materials or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This unacceptable situation has resulted in many of them being infected by the virus, resulting in the closure of the only test center in Kano. Below is an example of one of the many distress calls and text messages I have been receiving from unknown Kano residents: “Good afternoon Prof., One of my staff lost his mother today Friday 24th, April 2020 to circumstances similar to COVID-19 with (sudden fever, coughing, and rapid breathing). When we went to bury her at 9.30 am, we discovered that my mother’s body was the 18th to be buried since dawn (a time span of 3-4 hours). Why is the Kano State Governor denying COVID-19 deaths in Kano? People should please speak up and get us help.” There are also reliable reports indicating that cemetery workers in the city have been censored and directed by State officials not to give any interviews divulging the number of burials. The Kano State Government (KNSG) is clearly downplaying and denying these deaths just like officials in Wuhan, China did at the beginning of the pandemic. In fact, the Governor appeared on Channels TV, spouting these denials while in the same breath asking for N15b aid from the Federal Government. The next day, his Commissioner of Health appeared on the same Station stating it was just 640 deaths in six days. Kano State, in spite of its population density, is the most notorious state where social distancing measures are least enforced and obeyed, with youths still playing football while gatherings in mosques and weddings continue as if all is well. As a result of his negligence, Gov. Ganduje is also exporting COVID-19 to the neighboring states of Katsina and Jigawa by repatriating hundreds of Almajiris who are most likely infected by COVID-19 to their States of origin. This, in my opinion, was a very thoughtless and dangerous action. The Governor initially set up a State Task Force with his daughter as a member. Despite being a Medical Resident, she is said to wield so much power that even the Deputy Governor defers to her and the educated views of senior medical professionals are not taken seriously. The task force is now virtually moribund since its key members went into isolation after testing positive for the virus. I urge all sons and daughters of Kano wherever you are, to step up and raise your voices to save your people from this catastrophe, silence is not an option at this defining moment. Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje must bear full responsibility before man and God Almighty for the chaos that is costing the lives of so many souls which is simply a reflection of his poor leadership, incompetence, corruption, and lack of compassion for his people. The Federal Government needs to urgently step in to stem the rising death count before it is too late. IN SUMMARY: (a). COVID-19 death toll is undeniably rising daily in Kano (b). KNSG lacks the will, capacity, compassion, transparency, or the trust of its people to arrest the situation (c). KNSG is in denial and doing all in its power to hide these deaths. (d). Healthcare workers in Kano are in mortal danger without PPE. (e). Private Hospitals are shutting down due to fear of infecting their staff and for lack of capacity to deal with COVID-19 patients. (f). Government hospitals are increasingly getting overwhelmed with poor staffing, lack of PPE, drugs, consumables, bed spaces, or ventilators. (g). The only COVID-19 Testing Centre in Kano has now been shut down, leaving millions of people in the whole NW zone without access to testing. (h). People are living in fear, uncertainty, anger, frustration, and feel abandoned by both the state and federal governments. (i). Concerns about social unrest are real and should be taken seriously by both the State and Federal governments. RECOMMENDATIONS: (I). Immediate and forceful Federal presence in Kano. (ii). The Presidential Task Force should relocate to Kano and make it its new theatre of operation reporting to the President. (iii). People should immediately be provided with food supplies to enable humane but strict enforcement of total lockdown, which remains the only way of breaking the spread of the virus. (iv). The President should address the Nation on these deaths with specific plans on what the FGN will do. (v). NCDC lab in Kano should immediately be opened with increased testing capacity. (vi). Healthcare workers should immediately be provided with PPE. (vii). Hospitals need drugs, consumables, ICU spaces, and ventilators (viii). All Deaths and infections from COVID-19 should be properly recorded (ix). Swabs should be taken for the COVID-19 test from all corpses to enable proper mapping of the spread of the virus and the protection of contacts. (x). Recruit an Army of Contact Tracers from local Nurses and Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWS) to help in tracing contacts. (xi). Engage Traditional, Religious, and Community leaders. (xii). Aggressive public education campaign Usman Yusuf is a Professor of Haematology-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation. |
Below is Abba Kyari, the powerful and obtrusive Chief of Staff to Nigeria's President! People have said a lot since news of his death broke out, but something else struck me: His body lies here recumbent on this lowly rafia woven mat; only wrapped with about 12 yards of white wool fabric - being the only earthly stuff that goes to the grave with him (according to islamic injuction). No car, no house, no babaringa, no shoe, no wrist watch, no cap, no jewelry, no cheque book, no family, no power, no influence, no nothing! For truly, this image is the true image of man, every other thing we are or have are mere adornments to give us a false sense of our existence and mortality. He came alone and alone he returns; but what value has he left behind? What does history and posterity have about his notable acts on earth - for all these shall he be remembered for. Time like this teaches us lessons on the brevity of life, no matter how long we live. RIP Abba Kyari.

You are deaf and dumb! Islamic sharia is applicable to every Muslim, no discrimination! Yaradua died and buried the next day. |
AS ABBA KYARI FINALLY GONE! THE CHICKEN HAS FINALLY COME HOME TO ROOSTS.. JUDGEMENT AT LAST AS CORONA VIRUS FINALLY STARTED ITS TOP OPERATION FULL-TIME IN NAIJA! TIME TO MAKE POSITIVE CHANGE OR PERISH? Today it has been officially reported that the defacto president of Nigeria, Abba Kyari is dead after he has contracted the noble corona virus. May his soul rest in peace. Atiku's son has the virus, the estate he resides in abuja is under quarantine and me and you can guess the class of people that live there. Gradually this virus is exposing the country. For 50 years we have been begging our leaders to shun greed, stealing and tribalism but they refused to listen. We begged that the nation be fixed but they turned deaf ears. They were focused on their pockets for their children and unborn generations. Now the stolen funds are useless. They cannot fly out and we cannot as well. Our hospitals and infrastructures are totally and shamefully dilapidated. Pathetic. Worst is that our reserves are empty and fully drained. All of us will suffer it together. Moment of truth is here. After this epidemic we shall collectively decide how to run this country. Perhaps, by the time we are through with this scourge , nature would have helped us to press the 'reset' button. A lot of big people are around now by force.. There is no London or America to rush to for headache. Some of them will taste death as well. Yes. They will. it is already happening. Gwagwalada hospital and Yaba hospitals are now premiums yet lacking in facilities instead of Dubai, London, Germany, America, India and China. They will manage it like that! God truly has a way of fixing Nations!. We must have sense by force. Fix education, pay teachers well and equip our institutions; you said no! Rather you send your kids to the best schools in the world. Fix health sector and pay doctors; well never. Rather you fly around to cure headache. Fix security, pay officers well and restructure everything; they said never! Fix infrastructures; you said no way. Everybody from beginning to the end kept raping this country and her resources. We kept politicising everything. What a shame of a country. We must get sense by force. All of them are now in hiding. They are now importing their children from abroad. The rich is now crying. We shall all pay the price for neglecting the poor masses. we shall feel the same pain that they have been feeling for 50 years. Oh yes. Payback time is here. You inflate contracts and siphon money, you kept pocketing funds that will make Nigeria great. Politics and leadership became the juicy occupation for many. Payback time is here. Your billions will not save you. From top to senate to governors shall pay the price painfully. For 50 years we begged for good life but your greed blindfolded your brains, senses and eyes. You refused to listen to the cries of the masses. Both the big and small and even the downtrodden will suffer and you will get sense by force. No more flying to London to buy Ice cream or jetting out to Dubai for a weekend or even to France for hitch hiking. All of us will now sit here and enjoy the scourge of Coronavirus. Oh yes!!!! So far there is no vaccine and no cure yet this one will brush us up and throw us into the gutters. We have been praying for Nigeria in distress. Now God has answered the prayers in His own ways. |
Statement by CCECC on the its medical equipment donations to Nigeria and the accompanying medical team PRESS RELEASE With the backing of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and People’s Republic of China, China Railway Construction Corporation (‘CRCC’), through its subsidiary China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (‘CCECC’), is supporting Nigeria in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic that is adversely affecting livelihoods and economies across the world by making available necessary medical equipment and health consumables. Assisted by the Nigerian Government, CCECC is delivering amongst others around 16-tons of test kits, ventilators, disinfection machine, disposable medical masks, N95 masks, medicines, rubber gloves, protective gowns, goggles, face shields, infra-red thermometers and other critical care items, through a chartered flight operated by Air Peace. The chartered flight is due to arrive at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on 8 April 2020, these items required by the Nigerian Government will be handed over by CCECC to relevant authorities. Considering its large number of employees in Nigeria, CCECC at its own cost, will dispatch a 15-member working team from CRCC, 12 of whom are experienced medical professionals with expertise in infectious disease, respiratory illness, intensive care, cardiology, neurology, general surgery and anesthesiology. Members of the team also have relevant experience in the prevention and diagnosis of the COVID-19. All members of the working team have tested negative to COVID-19 and shall commence their stay in Nigeria by undertaking 14 days in quarantine. The primary purpose of the working team is to escort the medical supply, provide guidance for their usage and distribution. They will also provide CCECC employees with critical and necessary healthcare assistance where necessary. They are also coming with adequate PPE and medical items for the employees. In addition, under the directive of Chinese Embassy and in response to the Nigeria Government’s request, the working team may also share with Nigerian medical teams effective methods on how to contain the COVID-19 and provide advice on the use of relevant medical equipment. The team is not coming to treat Covid-19 patients in Nigeria. Finally, in keeping with its corporate value, “Stride with Nigeria”, CCECC is participating in the construction of two COVID-19 response facilities in the FCT for free as part of its Corporate Social Responsibilities. The facilities are a 196-bed at “ThisDay Dome Treatment Centre,” in collaboration with Sahara Group and Arise News; and the 150-bed “Idu Depot Treatment Centre.” Micheal Jiang MD CCECC Nigeria |
Another Conspiracy Theory? A study is currently going on in Australia It is looking like BCG vaccine is protective against Corona Virus. Don't forget that BCG vaccine, once taken, confers lifetime immunity against Tuberculosis What are they saying? The COVID-19 has some structural similarity to Mycobacterium TB that allows antibodies produced against Mycobacterium TB act against COVID-19, hence deactivating it. Till date Nigeria alone has had 23 recovered cases and 4 deaths, both above 60yrs, people who could easily have died from a severe form of common cold. Remember that in the last 50yrs, over 99% of Nigerians has received BCG vaccine, at one time or the other, with lifetime immunity against TB, do we have immunity against COVID-19 as well? Research is ongoing on BCG as we speak in Australia More anecdotal proofs shows that places where extended program on immunisation is entrenched have the fewest mortality rates, vis and viz, Africa, India and the Middle East The entire Africa has recorded less than 300 deaths in the over 50,000 deaths the entire globe has recorded. Do you still think it is a coincidence? And the incubation period of this virus is 7 to 14 days within which time frame the death rates in Europe has reach astronomical numbers, we have only 2 deaths! I speak as a scientist, of which we need more proofs than just anecdotes and statistics but you can see how Africans may not be badly hit? The CMD of UCH was positive for COVID-19 a week ago, he is now negative. He is in his 60s Is it the color of our skin? No! Blacks are dying in thousands in the USA and Europe as well. Could it be because they never had BCG vaccine ? Likewise a True African in USA or Europe is unlikely to die from COVID-19 It is not the color of our skin. It is not our weather. Could it be because virtually ALL of us have had BCG vaccination at childhood? ♀️ Same argument goes for malaria endemicity and the age long use of chloroquine to treat malaria but the evidence on that is not yet as robust as that of BCG vaccination As I said earlier, let's continue to observe all safety measures prescribed but I strongly believe Nigerians and majority of Africa and the Middle East and India have been spared the deadly effect of this global scourge! Nigerians, don't be overwhelmed with the above information, just be prepared and observe personal hygiene and social Distancing. |

Dear Oshomole, I know this is not the best of political moments for you, as you are going to be sacked as Chairman of APC. The writing is boldly on the wall that you must go. I listened to some of your interviews where you wondered why this is happening to you. I know two of the numerous reasons. 1. You have offended the people of Kano State by contributing to our current predicament and we have since reported you and your like, to God, to take away any rest of mind in your life. 2. You helped local losers to achieve their political goals and they cannot reciprocate, because they lack National influence to protect you. As you are heading to your political end, I wish you to rest in crisis (not in peace), politically. Not yours, Sadi Kofarmata, from Kano |

The Nigerian police command in Lagos state has apprehended 7 armed robbers who are known for robbing the church and supermarket in Lagos. A release signed by the Lagos PPRO, DSP Elkana Bala and made available to TheCaveat.info said the 7-armed man robbery suspects, headed by an Indian white woman were caught on the 27th of February during their robbery operation along Lagos apapa express way. The gang leader by name Alisha Noble confesses after alot of interrogation that no amount of bullets shot at her can penetrate her body. According to her she was fortified at India by a great priest who died after fortifying her. She also said she has a lot of magical powers which she used during their operation. The mysterious Robbery supect further confessed that when she arrived Nigeria in early 2011, she decided to form this robbery gang because she knew no bullet would penetrate her body. "We had a serious gun battle with them before we were supported by men of the nigerian army", the police release claimed. It further said that the Inspector of Police Incharge of the case has promised that the police would make everything possible to recover all the items the have stolen.
