In my own case, I did apply under Household Category last year but no approval not to talk of disbursement. So, I forget about it.

Later this year, there was a controversial post by someone on this thread that new application has commenced. It later turned out to be true. So I reapplied for myself, wifey, and two siblings who are Undergraduates. I did that on 8/3/2021. I can remember vividly because I did it @ midnight.

On Monday 12/04/2021, one of my siblings called to inform me that she got approval message. So I quickly input her bvn on their site, 400k was approved. I checked for the other sibling, 350k was approved. Checked for wifey, 500k popped up for her. Alas, mine hasn't yet been approved ...still showing BVN DOES NOT EXIST!

I attributed my non-approval to the fact I once defaulted a commercial bank loan due to a delay in salary payment but I have since cleared my debt. I wonder if that could still stand against me on my Credit Report.

Point to note is that I did all applications under Household Category but the approval letters are carrying SME loan. That's not a problem though.

The sweetest part of my story is that they were all credited yesterday Friday, 16/04/2021 in thier respective bank accounts UBA, Polaris & GT.

I congratulate your siblings for getting the loan so soon, i applied last year and this year but I'm still waiting for the approval.

I saw everything. Nothing depicts him attempting to scam him. He made it clear the OP's connection at NMFB might have accepted it. Nowhere he said he could help him or ask OP to DM. He asked the OP to relax that his money would come. Nothing looks like an attempt to scam here. OP was even advised to contact his contact at NMFB. I recall when this new nmfb loan link was released, they called the poster scammer, even when the link clearly has nmfb.com.ng extension.

Seems the young man's offence was just attending to another man and replying him. That was a shallow thinking.

People need to do better. You can advise people to be careful contacting people via DM but not calling the young man a scammer just because he was helpful to another man.

unfortunately, it has become a tradition here to call innocent people scammers, this is too bad, i begin to wonder if those people know the meaning of SCAM?

they haven't started approval for the ongoing applications, but from the look of things, it'll be fast and there won't be '' BVN DOES NOT EXIST'' this time cos BVN validation has been done in the application process. I think the next step would be notification of amount approved and request for applicants account details.

A lot of people did that Google form thingy in December and got paid.

with your reference number you can come back as a returning applicant and edit you information and resubmit but once you don't made mistakes in the first entry you submitted i don't think there's cause to worry.

At first it will be telling you BVN doesn't exist, just keep trying, I actually tried for like 15times before it went through for me and another 15times before it went through for my wife.

yes, some people were able to apply on Monday, but from Tuesday morning to now, i don't thing anyone applied successfully.

I think the connection error or invalid bvn is a deliberate attempt to limit the number of applicants.

you may be right, even with 4g network in the middle of the night, it's not work. The connection to BVN database was disconnected as you can't validate BVN and proceed to next stage.

Some people on Facebook are saying it's only artisan batch B that are receiving alert early this morning but not payroll applicants. Can someone clarify cos i know artisans did not register online and they've been paid last year

it's network issue due heavy traffic, it was so easy to apply during the last weekend but some bad eggs discouraged people not to apply then.

Just Keep trying as you have to wait for about 2 to 3 minutes for each page to load before you can proceed to the next page.

i didn't own a Google form and didn't share the link to the Google form, some else did on request, what i did was to tell people that the Google form is real.

And I'm still telling you with all sense of confidence that people used the Google form to apply for nirsal covid-19-support loan in November, December and January this year and they've since been credited.

Someone even claimed last Saturday here that someone help him to apply for covid-19-support loan in January and he got credited 3 weeks later and i believe the person applied for through the Google form.

I think the Reason why the Google was introduced through the back door is the same reason why the application portal was reopen for the fresh applications with pending approval from the 2020 applications. That's, they might have been facing difficulties with previous database of 2020 applications.

Please, always verify before you judge.

This is because once you submit your BVN will be validated as you can see in this Pic

An existing beneficiary can't reapply, it will tell you invalid BVN and you can't apply twice it will you BVN already exist.

it's network issue due to heavy traffic, the best time to do it is in the middle of the night or around 4am. I did for more than 10 people around 5am this morning and i started experiencing network error at around 6am.

With the reopening of the application portal i don't think they'll continue with the pending approval,or hopefully they will come up official information tomorrow as the bank is poor in corporate communications.

Any info you come across, be it real or fake, take your time and research before you venture in, at most 10min will suffice. The link posted there have the extension of nmfb.com.ng to it, nobody can clone that.
