Sagamite: Watch what you say and stop creating divisions through ignorance, and hopefully there would be a chance for more peace on this planet.
Ok MR intelligent.
SportsRe: Victor Moses Rejects Wigan's Double Pay Offer by sadyeek(m): 11:17pm On Jun 24, 2012
Sagamite: Explain to me how throwing lame accusations of racism is your sense of bringing people together and having fun?

How did Allah guide you right on that?
I hope you find peace.
SportsRe: Victor Moses Rejects Wigan's Double Pay Offer by sadyeek(m): 10:40pm On Jun 24, 2012
Sagamite: Next time watch your statement and stop feuling ignorant schisms between races. It is partly because of unreasoned thinking & utterances like yours that we have this widely instilled "Us vs Them" mentalities and troubles around the world.

Intelligent people like me want to live in a decent world with like minds of any background and I get annoyed when people like you spoil it and make it more dangerous. We are seeing the results in places like Kaduna, Jos etc, it did just not happen overnight. Ignorant thinking and statements like yours seasoned and feuled it for years.

Think, then talk, and you will have no problem with me.
Seriously? ? More with the insults?
Football I believed to be a sport, meant to bring people together and have fun. Where guys can come say what they feel and everybody laughs over it.
You bring up KD n jos! How is this related to that? I made a comment, in a society where everybody has the right to speech, but when I noticed you were offended I apologized even though I didn't really need to, just to give peace a chance. For someone who claims to be intelligent, you should have coded that, your behaviour now is more like the boko bois causing trouble all over. Everybody pleading with them to give peace a chance but due to their ignorance, selfishness, stupidity, ego amongst many other reasons they keep causing trouble.
I see why you are so hostile to me, but I will not and never apologize for being who and what I am, rather I will pray that Allah (swt) guide us right, both the ignorant ones amongst us and strenghten the faithful ones amongst us.

Sagamite: Go and seek how to improve your brain.

Now you know those beer-parlour conversations are not the bedrock of intelligensia confab as you initially thought.
Look dude, don't take it too far now? I am tryn to lay off so to keep the peace but ur taking advantage of that to increase your insult! I wouldn't insult a human being because of football, if that's where you want it to head. Just respect your self and lay off on the insult!
SportsRe: Victor Moses Rejects Wigan's Double Pay Offer by sadyeek(m): 2:12pm On Jun 24, 2012
Sagamite: You are a person!

You are a bloody cretin!

Look at my signature.

So where was the support of the press that stopped C. Ronaldo? Where was the press that stopped Van Nisterooy, Solskjaer, Yorke, Saha, Tevez etc while Owen and Sherringham were sitting on the bench?

So the press, in your cretinous world, only focus on Man U strikers that is why their strikers now are mostly English?

Otherwise how come the press have not stopped Drogba, Henry, Van Persie, Torres etc from being selected over English ones in their respective clubs?

Bloody foool! A cretinous product of our dilapidated education system that churns out utter moorons with zero analytical reasoning.

And this foool would have a right to vote! Fck Democracy!
Funny enough, am not angry! I definately not insult u back.
Obviously, you were offended by my comments, I apologize..
I hope you find peace, brother! Seek some anger mangement programme.

drzed: 1. I actually find your sarcasm very funny.
2. But seriously, some of us like to contribute to threads about cheating spouses, even though we did not attend the wedding.
3. I get your point on YOUR tastes for front page stories, and I respect that.
4. All I am asking is that you respect MY (and OTHER PEOPLE'S) taste for front page stories.
5. Perhaps we should ask moderators to clarify the criteria for front page stories.

....Meanwhile, the smaller kid one on the left did it! He looks like he was the one who planted the 'poundo bomb'.

Please, lighten up Sadyeek. Your right to throw a punch stops where other people's faces begin.

Cheers

FamilyRe: See What My Children Did To Me by sadyeek(m): 5:18pm On Jun 23, 2012
drzed: Agreed. It is a personal issue and has nothing to do with your (or my) family. And so what?

I put it to you, that some of the most interesting Nairaland threads (in my opinion) are about peoples personal experiences.

Sometimes, a thread is interesting because it is about someone whose wife/husband cheated on them. Other times, someone wants to sell Okada for 1.5 million Naira; or another person wants to buy a house or the latest Honda. There are also interesting threads about a job offer or whether someone should relocate from Naija to Yankee.

Eventually, many people derive pleasure in reading and/or contributing to a thread for various kinds of reasons. For many years, I for example, only came to Nairaland (unregistered) just to get a laugh at the witty and funny contributions made to some people's problems. Its all part of the fun and beauty of Nairaland. Some posts and threads here actually offend my senses and sometimes my personal beliefs. But not every food or drink sold in a restaurant must meet my personal taste.

There is room for ALL sorts of topics on Nairaland thread. Is it hard for you to accommodate (read: ignore) other people's interest?

Haba Sadyeek!
don't get me wrong. I did not say she or any other person that has some sorth of personal experience to share shouldn't come on to NL, but the front page is reserved for a reason. I personaly like those kind of threads your talking about, but if it should make front page let it be a general thing like "what's was your fav cartoon as a kid" let it have a feeling of that generality not just personal "my husband impregnated house girl what do I do?" Why ask me was I there when you got married?? I hope you get my point?
SportsRe: Victor Moses Rejects Wigan's Double Pay Offer by sadyeek(m): 5:06pm On Jun 23, 2012
Sagamite: Yep!

That does not mean if he decides to sign them, then they can't succeed in Man U as one cretin said.

And the fact he is not willing to sign players from places that might affect their contribution to his team and title chase is not racist as the second cretin said.
what a pity! Insulting people because of their own views on football! Smh

He plays as a striker, most manU strikers are english with the support to their press! It would be hard to oust them and get a first team football.

drzed: Dont take this personal, but let me explain HOW or WHY this made front page:

1. I dont think this is bias. It is more of 'balance' in terms of stories that make front page.
2. Sentimental BS? No, Some of us do not come to NairaLand to curse, spit and swear on each other or on our leaders!
3. Family and kids are actually very important to some of us o! Probably the most important outcome of life, in fact.
4. Dealing with kids growing up is not meaningless ru.bbish. Its the fun and challenging part of parenting.

Life is much more than political crisis, scandals, corruption, tribalistic hatred and unfounded gossip.

@OP please email me a high-resolution enlargement of those mug shots pictures of the kids, abeg.

@Mukina and other Mods: Please post more stories like these on front page. It is not by force for anyone to click on every link that makes the front page.
this topic is a personal one has nothing to do with my family or family of any other person reading it. !this covers your 1st and second point
Infact it covers all your points!

and this made front page, HOWhuh
Please mods, stop being bias and enough with the sentimental BS!!
Much more important things need to be placed on front page but some how they don't make it, just to come see some meaningless ru.bbish.

PoliticsRe: Kanu Launches N5b Cardiac Centre, Heart Surgery Test-run Begins by sadyeek(m): 4:09pm On Jun 23, 2012
Germannig: Some Igbos are really styypid locating expensive ventures outside Igboland in an inflammable society like Nigeria. All the Boko Haram bombings and the signs that Nigeria may break up means nothing to them? There are very few cardiac centers in Nigeria and no matter the location within Nigeria, Nigerians who will not be able to travel overseas for medical matters will patronize it. Why not build it in the SE? How many Yorubas and northerners build things outside their regions?
why does it always have to be about tribe??

Things like this are built in the capital and where is the capital?? Yes you said it right abuja!

So if nigerian now strats heading in the direction your thinking how do you expect us to make any progress and development??
I am a hausa man I'll build my cement factory in kano
I am a youruba man I'll buld my university in ogun
I am an igbo man I'll build my spare part dealer shop in imo grin grin ( just kidding) build my electonics factory in enugu
I am ijaw I'll build my 5 refineries in bayelsa
I am a fulani man I'll heared my cow and sell only in adamawa

Then what will happen to places that have little or no resources?? Let's try to love one another, we're all humans of the same country

I share your dream, only that mine is the other way around. Shipping then an oil company.
Would you like to share how you went about getting all this your certificates, and the time line? I want to get as much papers as I can but have this feeling that it would take too much time.

Guys I still need someone to help me with this (below)

sadyeek: Wow! I some times see t22 at the bottom of posts in other section, I never knew he is such a helper. Man, I admire your work. Keep it up.

I don't have time to go through the whole pages but just the last few, noticed most of the people paticipating are either in chemical, petroleum, geology or other closely related fields.

I want to inquire about, someone who studied BSc mechanical engineering, what is the best oftion for masters in the US. I personaly, MSc in marine engineering is a nice idea, but I also want something related to gas! So my question is, do you have an idea of a MSc programme that blends this two together, what areas are best for mechanical engineer to futher his study and if there are any marine engineers that are experienced can you share with us.
Thank you

TravelRe: Which Nigerian Airline Has The Best Cabin Crew? by sadyeek(m): 1:55pm On Jun 23, 2012
acidtalk: This might sound strange but I will go for DANA AIR.

Its so unfortunate that crashed happened but I can't even recall the number of times when I am not in a hurry that I wait for the available flight of DANA Air even if its going to take me 2-3 extra hours at the Airport.

* first Dana Air ladies are Georgeous. Fine, fair skin and well shaped sexy looking ladies. I know people like me just board DANA Air to llok at thos beautiful faces.

*above average Customer Service : unlike most of our other airlines who have TERRIBLE ground and inflight customer service, Dana is well above average. Their Air Hostess approach you with a calm face and sometimes smile intermitently at you when explaining things or taking your request.

*Good Snack : unlike some very annoying flights from airlines who are so miserly that you will be extremely lucky if you have a sachet water for long distance flights, Dana Air will always provide a snack box even if its just a canned drink and 'gala'. They are not as miserly as some of the counterparts.

For me I will go for DANA AIR.
How is any of this soppose to keep someone alive? undecided huh

daporski: I took arik air from Sokoto to Abuja today and then boarded Chachangi to Lagos. Now, while the services, looks and courtesy of the arik crew were not exceptional, I did not have cause to complain. But when I boarded chachangi I noticed that 1.

Their uniforms were white but not well kept. I mean, why choose white as your color if u can't keep it sparkling?

2. Two out of the three crew are men and definitely not Mr. Handsome material and the lady too no try at all.

3. While serving drinks one of the guys spilt some drinks and he swore in hausa before remembering to apologise to the passenger whose clothes got stained

4. The chap sitting next too me asked the lady cry member for water and she told him to press the button overhead and water will be brought to him.

Needless to say he didn't get any! Well thank God the flight was safe.

Passengers in the ill fated Dana plane that crashed (may their souls RIP) will wish they were alive to complain like me!

What has your experience been like with cabin crews? Do tell.
I do not agree with your number 3

Its most likely to be in arabic, and its not a sware.. Its more like when a christain says "jesus"

Well your number 1 is on point.
And I hate that buying of fud thing.

he's not one of the boko boys, obviously..
He did it just to seek attention. This should be in the north west where boko has not struck, or far back when the menace was not as bad. Nobody can do this, this time in places like KD or jos or bauchi or maiduguri etc. Even if the authorites don't do something(probably because they do not see him), normal people will both muslims and non muslim.

But 1 thing is sure he's just seeking attention, and it is an old pic
