tensazangetsu: @op the problem is the government let them build more universities nigeria does not have enough universities we ought to have not less than 500 universities in nigeriaas for the guy with As tell him to go to ghana and seek admission thats all.Expensive |
Contumely: Last year UNN reduced their aggregate cut off for many course because of abysmal failure in its post utme.lets wait as things unfold. |
Serendipity: My brother, just try and console her. She can go for computer lessons if she hasn't done that yet. Thanks, that of CBT may even be worse. |
@OP I give this piece thumbs up. after the money and everthing. Nawao. My lil sis cried her eyes out yesterday. Despite the fact that she had prepared very well Maybe JAMB should be scrapped. |
I do same. It makes me feel safer. Again, you will be in deep stew if you have not mastered its usage in busy cities like Onitsha. Most importantly, I drive fast and sometimes recklessly, but having mastered it I tend to without dent in most cases. Its a musf for everyone that likes expertise in driving. |
This is a portent. I think this kind of thing happens when one is in a relationship with someone one is not on a par with. When there are ginormous gaps in status and standing in life, it makes the suzerain dictate the tunes as opposed to both having a say in the relationship. If this can be happening now, there is every tendency that it will be worse in future. I guess you should learn to let go should the need arise. One shouldn't force oneself to be loved. ============== Again, everyone has the right to be happy, and if a person thinks that with you that is no longer guaranteed, let the person go. ==================== The greatest mistake you will make is to blame yourself for his departure when you are not the cause. Never also think he left because you are no longer attractive, etc. Because anybody that wants to leave can easily come up with a flimsy excuse. Of course that's after examining yourself. ================ Also endeavour to work and improve yourself. Cheerio! |
obyrich: You must be Lakunle of the "Jero Plays" by Soyinka! You and the guy you are correcting are on the extremes of the usage of the English language.I'm afraid I can't catch your drift. I can say ex cathedra that what I wrote was free from grammatical peccadilloes. |
I'm incredulous. I can't belive this just like that but at best should be accepted with a pinch of salt. ======== There is every possibility that the picture was taken prior to her ordination. |
yinkard4me: must u comment?Wha an incorrigible and incurious fellow. It is dispiriting that you have the temerity to write this baloney marred and honey combed with grammatical infelicities. It is doleful and execrable. |
yinkard4me: Am a graduate of ahmadu bello university 2012 ,Its so so funny when I found out I wasn't mobilized for d NYSC batch A 2013 since I was convoked on d convocation day since november 2012. On gettn to school for my statement of result early this april, only to find out dat my result has not even being approved by d senate.. the senate doesn't even have my result forwarded to them by my examination officer... Is dat even possible because senate printed my name in the convocation booklet? Anyone with similar experience? Pls I need advice! ThanksPlease avoid making a spectacle of yourself by correcting the grammatical lapses and clangers in the title of this thread. No excuse can avail you as the the whole cavoodle is lucid. So do so with despatch. Cheerio! |
What happens to me at times, esp when tired and sleepin facing the ceiling is that it will be as if something is holding me on the bed. I will be a bit conscious but the thing wont allow me to talk or wake up. Sometimes, i force myself and shake, change position or wake up, or just ignore it and it will go on its owni dont know whether is is caused by fatigue or as some fanatics are wont to say by demons. |
Your assertion is fallacious, specious and unfounded. There is nothing to back it up and ex nihilo nihil fit -- something cannot stand on nothing. Again, shortness is relative |
tonididdy: LIE LIAR LIESYou must be a a green youth, and still basking in the euphoria of youthful exurberance. No woman, even a the most churchy one wants a pauper aa a husband. ========= The issue is not about money but that MONEY makes life easier. The bible even says in Ecclesiates 10:19, that money answers all things. As you grow and leave the cloistered life and state you are in, you will appreciate and exoerience these things first hand. Cheers. |
IT may be difficult for a guy of modest means to take care of a girl in school. It will be at his peril to be spending the paltry sum he gets from parents on girls. Women must expect you to spend on them. Again you spend time. And when a guy becomes glued to such he will get sidetracked and lose his bearing, hence prudence is counselled. Life never gives us all we need. |
Ingrates shouting rubbish. Can any of you say how it is rubbish? Power to you poster for the pithily expressed piece. |
sholay2011: Did you read my post well? C'mon! I dnt support favouritism at the expense of professionalism. But let's be real here, sometimes, it's the only thing that separates the goose from the gander.yet it is indubitable that some jobs are syill being given on merit. |
Gorimakpa: This is a problem that we have been facing for so long in Nigeria, and it is getting worse. Look at Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF). Some of us applied, paid application fees, wrote the test, passed the test, attended the interview, and did well at the interview, but at the end of the day, the fools there only employed individuals that did not even apply at all, mot to talk of to write test or attend interview. Go to their headquarters in Abuja now, you would see blockheads gleefully collecting appointment letters to resume work while the qualified ones are left out. All these just because they were sponsored by politicians and top management staff of the NSITF. The whole thing is so unfair, and it makes me hate this useless country. No wonder nothing works in the country. You have got no case. Most of you that claim of being denied admission never merited it ab initio. And the fact that you later graduated as one of the best doesn't prove that you were unjustly denied admission. |
yuzedo: Bro, I knew I was gonna come under heavy artillery from fellow mediocres for critiquing that pot of crap a nigga wrote, but somebody gotta be the martyr. Somebody gotta be the Dark Knight. I will be that hero.Mediocres? A case of the pot calling the kettle black |
dbride: Lanre Nzeribe and Emeka Nzeribe are cousins. This is a simple case of typo-error where Lanre instead of Emeka Nzeribe for Stella Damasus was typed. So many have made that same mistake. When two family members mingle with female celebrities from the same crowd, identity mistakes happen. This is your second catch from the same crowd and you blame others for what? Man, look inward. No other place to lay your eggs? |

No other place to lay your eggs?I'm afraid, the issue that the Federal government has not paid Baba Suwe may be because : 1.) The matter may be on appeal -- in which case there will be a stay of execution. 2.) In enforcement of court judgements by the sheriffs, government property cannot be attached. Were the matter to be between Baba Suwe and a person like Dangote, and subject to the first condition I stated above, it would have been enforced to the letter. Courts can execute their judgements through many means, which includes Garnishee proceedings. With garnishee proceedings, an order can be given to a bank that, say Dangote has an account with to pay Baba Suwe that sum, and the bank will so that forthwith. |
LewsTherin: I have always heard a man connot stick to one woman and will always need "variety". Nairaland has plenty such advocates! But my dad did it, and I'm doing it too.Yea |
SLIDE waxie: well, it takes a jack to knw a jick! How're u doing mate? What? |
And you will tell the police that what happened? Maybe they will declare her wanted and award one million naira to anyone that will provide info that will lead to her being apprehended. This kind of thing usually happens when a man is smitten lustfully by a girl. He will no longer be acting with his senses. OR To be mild, lets just say that everything in life is risky, though it better when the risk is calculated. Lets just say that you took this risk and lost. Thank your kismet that you even lost a paltry sum. At any rate, I'm afraid, but you are execrably gullible, green and callow. |
I am tired of this platitude. I would marry 1000 fat women if I were King Solomon. In fact I have nothing to do with a slim one. But then again, our perception of who is attractive depends on a lot of things which inclues childhood experiences. Just like some prefer fair women I prefer them fat and dark. So it would be stupid of one to think that I'm weird when I,m with my fat beeter half. |
Lean on me by Michael Bolton. My heart will go on by Celine Dion. |
chikeorji123: Saecula hemm hemm pls do u mind if the name above been replace with another name..?may be sexkills is suited..*just passing wondering*..Why? |
fluid26: You are posting with the moralist point of view. It's not entirely true, and is not always applicable.Granted, there are always exceptions. |
Serendipity: True and interesting. Thanks for stopping by |
dedons: I'm a professor of ENGLISH LANGUAGEI dare you to figure them out. |
SLIDE waxie: I was told kids av invaded nairaland, but i argued. And hey, i keep seeing incomprehensible threads like this!I'm sorry, I didn't break it down in such a way that dimwits and dolts like you will understand. My humble apologies for that.... |
