Lol!

I must be slow. I have not noticed "Adorable" that much yet.

I am still on "Stunning", and sometimes "shine". grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

The forum is now so much reetarded!

Another thing that got on my nerves recently was how during the xenophobic attacks in SA, you will see on NL FP headlines like "South Africans kill Nigerians".

Not "some South Africans", not "South African thugs", just pure generalisation that leads to the cretins we have in our own country (who now roam across NL) start with their "I hate South Africans", "Lets kill South African" war cries.

Not once did I see on the FP any report saying many South Africans went on the streets to protest against the xenophobic attacks.

That is similar to how the forum was allowed to degenerate into "I hate Igbos/Yoruba/Whatever" battleground.

That is the irresponsibility that this junkyard forum is spreading. Soon when we have people killing each other then we start wailing that "how can we do that to each other". Many do not realise the many difference pieces stoke up such hatred that lead to merciless killings and inhumanity we see in Africa all the time. Making our shitarse continent backwards and the "Dark Continent".

For the sake of attracting crowd, fire is being indirectly stoked.

It would be best to just say "Nkem Owoh with his daughters".

The adjectives on these girls are minor.

The major thing is the frequent, ridiculous and continuous use of the adjective "stunning" on FP to fooool people to click on the link.

Extremely pathetic and desperate approach to attract market.

That is an average Naija businessman mentality: "Improving your service and innovation is too much hard work, and the customer can be disrespected as long as they have limited alternatives".

It might be time for new competitive entrants into the Nigerian forum marketplace. Nigerians should not be left to settle for shyt service everytime, everywhere and in everything.

I can see that my earlier first post has quickly been hidden because someone cannot stand the truth.

The usual closing of threads and hiding posts when incompetence is highlighted.

Pathetic.

Continue fooling your users with "stunning" tags everyday on FP and see how fast this forum goes down hill.

It is already on its way down hill as it is a pure junkyard.

The other indirect sad thing is that two poor girls that merely took a pic with their dad have been, through no wish of their own, put on a pedestal to be publicly ridiculed and slaughtered by the public.

They would be reading comments and it would not be a nice feeling.

Let me spoil it for you all and predict the final outcome. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Luscious is going to leave the Empire to his homosexual son after finally coming to a realisation that the son is the most competent and the best fit, and he has been an "arsehole" to his poor, long-suffering and victimised homosexual child and by not admitting the fact earlier.

It would be a very emotional scene, backed with emotional and inspiring soundtrack in the background to make people cry, with him apologetically reconciling with his son and asking for forgiveness while he is about to die. Or, alternatively, leaving the Empire to the son as a surprise and writing an emotional approval letter to him (which the son reads after the death of Luscious) about how he [Luscious] has been wrong and "homophobic" all this while and he is the worthy successor.

Perfect pro-homosexuality ending! grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Very fitting for the uninspiring script-writing of this series.

I can put a 100 dollar bill on that ending. The series is unashamedly partly a vehicle for brainwashing and building up support for homosexuality.

The other 2 sons are not getting the Empire. That is a forgone conclusion.

That is my prediction.

You should all come back and praise me about how accurate I am when the final season (whenever it is) concludes. cheesy grin

I am still on Season 1, Episode 9, so I did not know that.

The script plots are so poor and absurd, I could imagine such ridiculous plot could emerge from it. undecided

TV/MoviesRe: The New Series Empire Fan Club. by Sagamite(m):
rokiatu:
Anyone watching the new series Empire?

Here's a special fan club dedicated to only the show. This show is something else manhh like I got addicted in no time. I really hope it goes a long way.

Anyways lets discuss new episode, fav characters and stuff on here.

An all new episode tonight by the way.
Started to watch the show when a NL girl recommended it and kept on insisting excitedly that I watch it.

To be frank, I am not really excited about it, it is not my kind of stuff, it is just okay.

Why would I say it is just okay and not my kind of stuff?

Honestly, it is not an intellectually written series. Not in the mold of 24, Mad Men, West Wing, Sopranos, Games of Thrones, ER etc.

It is more of the likes of Days of our lives, Dallas, Dirty Sexy Money etc. Basically a tabloid TV series!

The story plots are predictable and unsophisticated. They are very vanilla and linear, and any occasional twist is frequently unrealistic and only put in there for sensational reasons.

For example, how can you want to propose to your new young wife and then invite your old ex-wife (who is famous for her severe attitudinal problems and is also a sworn enemy of your wife-to-be) to come and witness it and then all of you do not expect any drama? No one would do that, and definitely, not someone who is intelligent enough to build an empire.

How can you have a girlfriend you are cheating on, yet give her the keys to your apartment and then take your side-chick to your house to have a bubble bath (not quickie o, a bubble bath).

Another little-detail faux pas I observed was when they were in a club playing the first song to be released by the homosexual son and all the clubbers started cheering immediately the song started playing. Come on! If a song is new and unknown, it is unnlikely people hearing it for the first time would all start cheering immediately it is played. They are more likely to slowly take it in, decide after a while they like it and then probably cheer or clap afterwards or at the later half of the song. Not start cheering and whooping immediately it came on like if it was Thriller.

Just very unsophisticated scripts. Poor, unsophisticated, unimaginative, low-quality scriptwriters.

You are going to bone your ex-wife in your house, on the bed you share with your new girlfriend, with some of your kids present in the house and you do not lock the doors? You left it ajar?

Another was when the homosexual son came out of the closet in a club full of black people, everyone was cheering and supporting. Like really? Black people? Hip-hop people? Not one dissenting voice apart from the father?

Nigga please!

The show is really unsophisticated and is just reasonably watchable in my view.

The acting (bar the father, Cookie and the homosexual son) is just average. Those are the real 3 I think act really well despite the average scripts they are given.

Another thing they do is pack the programme with celebrities to boost it. Just pure tacky.

The music also helps it.

I don't know for how long those can carry the show amongst non-teenagers. It might soon wear-off.

Worst of all, I think they have partly made the show a vehicle for homosexuality-promotion.

A subtle and intellectual observation is that, out of all the sons, only the homosexual son is written as someone that does not have serious character flaws and is likeable. The typical pro-homosexual brainwashing and propaganda tactic one would expect from hollywood. The youngest son is too arrogant, irresponsible and stupid. The older son is devious and cunning, even to his brothers. Both are hard to like completely. But we are suppose to like, support and feel for the homosexual son. He is the real victim/hero/role model.

Furthermore, too much of the disgusting sight of 2 men kissing that makes it virtually unwatchable for me. Many times, I have to turn my laptop to face away from me and only listen to the audio so I don't miss the plot, while not watching disgusting stuff.

A quick look in wikipedia uncovers it all. The creator (Lee Daniels) is a homosexual black man. And one of the Executive Producers (Ilene Chaiken) is also a homosexual. They are using it partly as a platform to promote homosexuality.

After watching the first season, I would not be watching the next ones because it is not intellectually-written enough for me and it is full of homosexual acts and promotion of homosexuality.

It is so unsophistaced, I would not be surprised the plot will change in future to ex-wife (Cookie) and the almost-new-wife (annika) forming an alliance and working together in future. Tabloid scriptwriting stuff!

PoliticsRe: How I Was Almost Mobbed Today In Ado Ekiti by Sagamite(m): 6:41pm On Apr 07, 2015
ogalawyer:
I'm still in shock over what happened to me today.
I'm a youth corper serving in Ado Ekiti. On my way to the office Ado Ekiti this morning, I observed that the Fajuyi park area of the town was blocked by security operatives and motorcycles were not being allowed to ride through. I was puzzled as to what was going on, as I just got back to the state from my hometown d night before. Anyway I proceeded to my office. About two hours later, I heard some singing and noise from outside. As l was kind of bored, I decided to go and observe. On getting to the outside of my office complex, I saw a large crowd of people singing and walking on the main road. I realised they were protesting. But since there were no sign of violence, I presumed, albeit wrongly, that it was a peaceful protest. Therefore, and in order to test the picture quality of the phone I just bought, I decided to take pictures. That was a very grave mistake, I now realise. Immediately, a man saw me taking the pictures, he descended on me. The crowd followed suit and before I could mention Jesus, I started receiving blows and slaps from everywhere. The shirt and inner shirt I was wearing was torn out of my body. After the security men managed to restrain d crowd, I was told to delete d pictures, which I did. The crowd was not still satisfied and insisted that I give my phone to them, so they could smash it. I refused. Another round of beating then commenced, this time more viciously. I was pushed to the ground and they were all raining blows and slaps on my body. I managed to extricate myself from the melee and ran for my dear life. Some tried chasing me, but I was quicker. I then went to hide in a part of d complex. After about 5 minutes, a vicious looking guy came to meet me where I was hiding and said I should give him my phone, else he finishes me off there and then. He said he has been instructed by the powers that be to either smash my phone or finish me off. Or in the alternative, he will take me to d crowd waiting fr me outside so they can deal with me in their own way. I started begging him and told him I was just a youth corper and I was neither a politician or from Ado Ekiti. After showing him my NYSC I.d. card and giving him the last 500 naira in my wallet, which he requested for, as bribe, he let me go and instructed me to go and hide as best as I could. I was later transported outside the premises by a good Samaritan, before I found my way home.
Though I'm an ardent follower of political happenings in the country, I have never been a fanatic, and I never expected this type of behaviour from rational human beings. Mehn, these guys where filled with anger, and they could kill without hesitation. Politics should not be a do or die affair. It is high time we jettison this culture of barbarism and embrace peace and dialogue. Anyway, I'm thankful to God, that it didn't get worse than it did. Though I'm feeling pains all over my body, I'll survive and at least I still have my phone.
When a state elects a thug, the thugs come out into the streets.

I would rather we give more money to doctors, teachers or policemen when we cut all this down.
Then you will have to think carefully if the legislators would be able to carry out their functions with what you give to them.

For example, they need personal assistants to organise their day and paperwork. Even to help conduct research on laws and formulating bills.

The currently have N55K per month to pay anyone for this job.

How many smart people would be willing to work for that as their salary in Abuja?

And if you cut it further, how will that impact the quality?

So you will have to think carefully about what you cut and does it make sense.

With political forces in the nation led by former President Olusegun Obasanjo reportedly concluded on getting him out at all cost, the western world, particularly the United States and the United Kingdom, were said to have been persuaded into the project on two main planks; corruption and insecurity.
I am very confident the whole article is true.

I could see and feel it, and I was hinting it months ago.

GEJ was already regarded as a foool internationally.

Apart from corruption and insecurity, other reasons why the West wanted to see his back was:

- Gross incompetence.
- Reaction and insensitivity to the Chibok girls and their families.
- Signing the anti-homosexual bill.

I knew the cretin was toast considering all that.

If Nairaland's search function was any good, I would have referred back to some months ago when I stated this foool would lose and become internationally and locally irrelevant because of the homosexual bill and his incompetence.

But I said it again recently: https://www.nairaland.com/2226845/jonathan-wins-bayelsa/2#32171582

The only way he could have fought these Western forces was if he had performed and was competent. But we all know he is dumb, slow, clueless and lacks strong will or good intentions.
