Wetin concern Fayose with impeachment? Why don't you tell OMIRIN ''mr speaker'' to stop all his mischievous pranks, he's never gonna become the acting governor.

Peter Ayodele Fayose is our Governor.

And for you mr man, you have just insulted a whole state. Your life will always be devoid of every good thing, you will never amount to anything in life. Your life, your hope, your happiness will be taken from you, everything you have ever worked for would be blown into air before you, you will always be falling, nothing will ever work for you and even your kids will despise you at your weakest moment.

Would love your thoughts on the article. The writer makes some points that I believe are essential if Africa desires to become a great success story in the future.
- revision of our curriculum to mirror or at least bear a semblance to what is obtained elsewhere:US, Europe or Asia(China, Japan, S. Korea)
- a willingness and readiness to visit our history and examine existing structures/legacies that could continue to impede our growth
- boost our local industries in all aspects with greater focus on agriculture and power.

The situation is dire. Most black people are unable to envision a better future. I choose to believe all hope os not lost yet.

NB: This shouldnt turn to a 'share your sorrows' thread. grin
The first step in successful change is to analyse what is wrong and acknowledge the need to change.

I completely object to the core of this author's approach which is to challenge the truth and defend [supposedly] our pride.

What da fck is there to the defend? The continent is an absolute shithole in most parts.

Anyone that follows me on NL would know I am not ashamed to say that and my approach is to force moronic deniers to face that reality and acknowledge the shyt they are in and the need to change.

All these finger pointing at everyone but ourselves and delusional/sophistical claim of greatness by many Nigerian fuuktards like Rossike, cap28, panafrican, gatiano, morpheus24, igbo2011 and co I intentionally smash at will.

We ALL need to attack the fuuktards with this mentality amongst us.

Instead of blaming the world like the losers we have become, the first people to blame are the black people themselves for complete refusal to employ their brains in anything they do.

This author employs that moronic channel as well of playing the victim and blaming the whole world for the black man's fate and defend rubbish. Instead of saying "we need to up our poor and pathetic game".

This was the only part I felt he started making sense:

And that’s OK. That’s good. Let that mockery stir us from our slumber so that we can re-engage our power as individuals and as a collective. We are our own saviours. We are in fact on our own. Time for us to start taking up space as a people; start acting on our own ability to self-determine; start self-actualising by practising showing people where to get off (on all fronts — economic, social, political, cultural); start practising rather than protesting. Re-engage.
Instead of empty boasts, many black people need to know there is nothing special about them until they start doing special things. And they should never have pride in being shyt, mediocre or some moronic, delusional perception of greatness.

PoliticsRe: Benue Gov, Deputy In Auto Crash! by Sagamite(m):
kaywizee:
Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State and his deputy, Chief Steven Lawani, were involved in a ghastly road accident on Friday in which eight people were injured.
The accident came a day before the governor’s  50th birthday which holds today.

The governor’s official vehicle in which he was travelling and his spare vehicle were directly affected by the impact of the crash. The two officials who were in the same vehicle escaped unhurt.

It was gathered that the governor and his deputy were on their way to an official assignment in Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area and Gboko when the accident occurred.

According to an eyewitness, an oncoming vehicle which overtook another vehicle lost control, sommersaulted, then hit the spare vehicle of the governor as well as the vehicle in which both the governor and his deputy were travelling.

The accident happened at Angbaaye, a few kilometres after Makurdi, the state capital.

The governor’s spare vehicle was badly damaged while the impact of the accident on the on coming vehicle was very severe.

Both the governor and his deputy however rushed to rescue the victims in the oncoming vehicle who were believed to be traders heading to Makurdi.

Governor Suswam, who detailed some top government officials to take the injured persons to the hospital in Makurdi, however, proceeded to Gboko where he flagged off road project, while his deputy alighted at Tarka Local Government where he flagged off tree planting project.

The eight people who were injured were rushed to Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, for medical attention.

As a follow up to the governor’s 50th birthday ceremony which holds today, he has also scheduled a thanksgiving ceremony for tomorrow, at Aper Aku Stadium. President Goodluck Jonathan is expected at the ceremony.

These journalists are like pendusky and mopolchi who worship their useless leaders.

The fuuktards did not even mention the fate or condition of the people in the accident rushed to hospital.

Were they seriously injured?

Are they out of hospital?

How many were they?

I bet pendusky is speaking in violent tongues now, praying for the governor and deputy. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

You can be rest assured I have done my bit through my normal Nigerian channels I use for TeHN.

I am happy to always help out where I can.

That said, if it was pendusky or mopolchi, I would not donate even sand or my spit. I would tell them to either fly to Germany/Dubai or go to Akwa Ibom Stadium to get their treatment since that is what they are proud of instead of leaders with a vision.

www.linkedin.com is a network of professionals. A visit to the registration page shows a "subtle photo bias" against Africa & Africans. It is sad that Africa is always projected in bad light by the whites even on a platform like linkedln. See how we are represented in the circled picture below. I think we should protest this on www.change.org and ensure the photo is removed/changed.
Explain to me what makes you so sure that the picture is a representation of Africa or Africans.

How far are you sure that is not representing some Black Brit from Brixton?

Or a Black American from New Orleans?

Or a Black Swede in Stockholm?

Or a Black Brazilian?

Or even a Black Saudi?

Why did you take offense to it that it represents Africa and Africans?

Now people say that the school should have made the girl stay in a room by force but if they had done it, they would have been sued for imprisoning a child and at worst by using violence to do so.
This is what our funky progressives want the school to do to her to avoid all possible hindsight suits.

This is EXACTLY the problem I have with this story.

Her parents made mistakes but blame the school.

I am not saying that the teacher handled the situation properly. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. I can't say because I wasn't there and I don't trust this mother.
The teachers did an absolutely normal thing in my view and should be in-sueable for it. They did not fail in their obligations.
EducationRe: Nigerian Girl Commits Suicide In New York by Sagamite(m): 9:18pm On Nov 15, 2014

Imagine the girl would pee in front of the whole class. That would definitely help her.

Or imagine a male teacher would go with her to the toilet and not allow her to close the door because she might take pills to kill herself. Can you imagine the scandal?

Oh no! There are so many teachers at school and they have so much time that it would be easy for the management to have the girl be taught by female teachers only.

It is so easy to take care of hundreds of students when some parents are not even able to take care of 1-3 kids.
What they need to do to avoid all possible hindsight that our "progressives" might come up with is:

- Tie her up or put her in a strait jacket
- Sit with her in the room
- Call her parents

That way, she would not even have a chance to smash a glass and harm herself or anyone else.

Then when we hear that happened in the press, the same "progressives" would come out with their moral superiority of how her rights were violated because of her mental health problems. That they should have only blown her kisses, so the school should be sued for detaining her unlawfully.

Funky-wannabees!

Its not about her suing the school... it was about the health of her child... Its not exam stress.. the girl was suicidal... no matter what happened It was her thinking that had to change and only the parents are capable of influencing her but they failed.. the chances of the girl committing suicide was high so her and her parents needed counseling
So your argument is that the parents failed but they should sue the school for their failure?
EducationRe: Nigerian Girl Commits Suicide In New York by Sagamite(m): 9:09pm On Nov 15, 2014

First of all, we do NOT know if the school REALLY knew. This is what the mother says and I don't trust her.

Secondly, depressive people are USUALLY not dangerous to others. A school cannot forbid a child to come to school on grounds of depression.
Acoording to our hindsight expert "liberals", they should!

And if they did not because of no benefit of hindsight, they should be sued for $10m.

Why would the school allow a sick child into it's premises knowing fully well that she was not alright upstairs. I am sure most of us would not want our child/children sitting next to a crazy patient in an exam hall. Note: Mental health issue may appear normal in appearance for a while or months. Why should the parents send their mentally-ill kids to such school?
