spyg1: There is going to be development in the Nigerian league, now that the govt has removed its hands off in the mgt of sport affairs, no must win home matches now.The league of home matches win only. ![]() |
kingphilip: The problems I have with this fifa n Nigeria's interference saga is simple....The point of FIFA is that, any issue that would amount to the removal of leaders should not take place in any local courts. All should take place with board members participation under the rules stated by FIFA. If you do not like the outcome of that process, then you can go to FIFA. And if you are still not happy then you can go to the International Court of Sports Arbitration (or something like that name). I will surprise you by saying that makes a lot of sense because imagine you allow each association to be subject to local laws, then you would have madness. The process created by FIFA creates some level of consistency and reliability. How many nations are sane and have a sane justice system? How many would have corrupt judges who would make mockery of justice? You will just have a frequent monthly change of FA officials and lack of continuity that it would affect the football in most countries. You will have the kind of madness we have when we let fucktards run things like changing coaches every few months, sacking coaches 2 months before a WC despite the problem being that the fucktards that doing the sacking are the ones that did not pay salaries or bonuses that led to poor performance. How can FIFA let too much power sit in the hands of fucktards in societies that: - Vote for Presidents that were on a charge for instigating election violence that led to the death of people? - Vote for a President who when he was in-charge of his country's AIDS prevention programme said he had unprotected sex with someone he knew was HIV positive but he tried to prevent himself by taking a shower later? - Vote for a President with no achievements, and who showed how stuuupid he was when the President was dead and the wife of the dead seized power with a cabal, all because they believe he has been lucky, his name is Goodluck so he would bring luck to the nation. So, yes, FIFA is right and brilliant for centralising power as much as possible instead of distributing it around the world where we have many fucktards in position of authority. That is why football has been the most successful sports in the world. The only problem with the centralisation is that the central powers themselves are corrupt to an extent. Only that their corruption is not as damaging as the one we will have in distributed power. Maybe we would have Presidents just waking up one morning sacking the FA officials and appointing the heavy-makeup ashawo girlfriends of themselves and acquaintances to run football and loot as much as possible. |
beryl04: Catholic Bishop: Antigay Attitudes 'Sick' and 'Heartless'The bishop is a person for not thinking homosexuals do not have something wrong with them. The writer is a person for labeling those that think homosexuals are sick as "homophobes" and labeling the action of the pastor "progressive" so that more fucktards can be brainwashed that they are funky when they support homosexuality. |
AjanleKoko: Nigerians scoring lower in masculinity may be connected to the low level of pragmatism. Maybe?I just checked the criteria for masculinity dimensions: "The masculinity side of this dimension represents a preference in society for achievement, heroism, assertiveness and material rewards for success. Society at large is more competitive. Its opposite, femininity, stands for a preference for cooperation, modesty, caring for the weak and quality of life. Society at large is more consensus-oriented." Maybe in tough and suffering societies, if you are not one of the rich and you are part of the majority poor, you will need cooperation to survive on the long run. And also Africans tend to care for their old people as a community. That said, I am surprised UK scored higher than USA on these criteria. ![]() |
AjanleKoko: I can't believe Nigeria scored lower in masculinity. ![]() But as per pragmatism, I can see why. ![]() JESUS! JESUS! JESUS! ALLAHU AKBAR! PRAY! PRAY! PRAY! You have any trouble/challenge? ...............PRAY! NEVER USE YOUR BRAIN, ONLY GOD CAN DO IT! Reetarded fucktards! ![]() |
Their beautiful body, femininity/sexiness, feminine touch, classy personality and "she likes me" (I don't chase). |
OmoEziokwu: Well I didn't add that I was looking at things from a social mobility standpoint (the OECD report). It seems to be higher in North America generally than in the UK, that's why I'm a bit surprised that the Hofstede Power Distance Index is lower in the UK than in North America. You can see it here:My inchoate thoughts: The UK has a lower power distance because the society is more skewed towards socialism than USA which is pure capitalist. The reetards are even refusing a free healthcare system. ![]() UK has adopted a bit of socialism because of is higher ethnic homogeneity, the smaller population size and geography, its closeness to other socialist European nation and the rebelling against the old aristocratic system. US have challenges different to this. The little bit of socialism and less capitalism has led to more favourable labour laws, which means I can basically tell my boss to fck off and I might still not get sacked .....joking. And they also have a generous welfare system. In the US, they have looser labour laws and people can get fired more easily, which would mean you will naturally kiss arsse more. Worse still, when they have less generous welfare system if you lose your means of income. Secondly, capitalism also increases the divide between rich and poor, which would also add to the arsse kissing, hence more power distance. Because of lack of aristocratic past and low homogeneity, then social mobility is likely to be more merit based. Unlike the UK where everyone on top is from a narrow clique of wealthy family and who all went to Oxbridge. Only about 1 former UK PM in the last 70 years or so did not go to Oxbridge. 90% of High court judges used to be from Oxbridge, now it has been forced down to 80% in the last 20 years. Just these 2 universities. In the US, leaders can come from a wider spread of different backgrounds, regions and universities. Also the affirmative action practiced at university level there carries on into later career mentality. In the UK, if you did not go to Oxbridge, it is almost impossible to get some jobs. Simples. |
milehigh06: and he is also playing in an era when players are over-protected...you think Messi will survive a tackle from Terry Butcher,Lothar Matheus,Jaap stam, the italian defenders who wrecked "The real ronaldo"s career...Messi is not doubt one of the best ever but in comparism to Maradona and pele,He is below themYou have an argument there in terms of tackles and hard balls and all that, but by and large, I think the advantages that exist in the Pele era which led to the things that made him be called "great", his loads of goals, are more significant. Off-side rules were very lax. Defenders were poor. Keepers were even more poor. Team tactics was not great. Players were not fit nor were they professionals. If you were a fit and skilful then, you would be a giant in their mix. As for Maradona, even though they are different kinds of players, there really is nothing he has done individually that Messi has not replicated. Messi has the goals, the dribbles, the speed, the skills, the brains and everything the other 2 lack. |
joseph1013:That is absolute tosh, mate. Just go to youtube and dig out old football videos to show any person that tells you that. Let them see how the keepers and defenders were poor during the likes of Pele era. Keepers that dive like my grandfather for the ball. Messi is playing football in an era when all footballers are top level, athletic professionals, not part time fishermen and carpenters. He is playing in a era where fitness is supreme and tactics are on point. And he looks like Jesus in the midst of these super athletes. Definitely the greatest. |
joseph1013:Well said, mate. |
OmoEziokwu: It is a surprise that the UK has a lower Hofstede Power Distance Index than the US and Canada. Please look at this:I think you posted the wrong document. Everything seems to be about wages. |
iwonbaoko: The rationale is simple for an organization like FIFA with hundreds of members it cannot work if is going to be distracted by conflicting judgments from several jurisdictions.Ultimately it has chosen to house itself in a place where it thinks it can work with the courts and if that regime is unbearable it will relocateYep. |
mikeansy: The problem is the serious countries have sensible people running the FAThat is the reality. If an intelligent person like me was a minister, this is what I would have done a long time ago. - I would have withdrawn the money - I would have studied FIFA's election criteria and process - Starved people at state level of money until they elect from a implicitly "select list" of competent administrators - If any fooool gets on the board, I would withdraw a large fraction of the funds until the person is voted out or, my miracle, resigns - I would also probe all public spending of that state level on the spot - Do this for all state level and the pool of candidates available for NFF would be more sane - If any election leads to a reetard being elected, I would withdraw money until everyone that voted for the foool is kicked out - If you don't send a sane account of how public money is spent, I would not sack you, but you will have to operate from jail - Football will first suffer for a few years, but at the end, a sane administration that understands consequence would emerg. |
OuchDaddy: You are one RACIST BASTARD!!!!! Permit me to condescend LOW to ur FUCKERY of a Life by adding one moreYou are a cretinous person! So this is all the dumb rants you can pour out of your moronic brain after I exposed your moronic village mentality that makes Africa a backward place full of moronic monkeys like you? ;You are a cretinous person! The bacteria in my shyt is more intelligent than you on your smartest day. |
mikeansy: We have a situation where FIFA is telling us that an institution registered in Nigeria is above Nigerian laws and not subject to court rulings! You have the option to put it under Nigerian laws and be excluded. Or you have the option of closing it down and say you don't want to be part of it any more. Those are your options if you don't like it. That is the result of the constructed monopoly of Supply FIFA has carefully built. You can scream as much as you want, as long as you are not able and/or willing to set up a rival association as they have in Rugby, you have to suck it up. |
MissMeiya: Nigerians have a problem with excessive arrogance. This whole story is a matter of Nigeria's gov trying to take over something that is a member of a private corporation, and then huffing and puffing because "how dare they? Do they know who I am? A whole me?"Actually it has a lot to do with frustration with incompetence, national shame and corruption. It is just that the way football under FIFA is structured, you can't do what they wanted to do. |
mikeansy: Please who does the Nigeria football federation represent? How does it threaten the nation's sovereignty? ![]() |
mikeansy: And then the Brazillian government building stadiums and transport and providing security also lame? The Brazilian government can choose not to or demand to be paid. FIFA would take their party elsewhere. I can go to my local park right now with my friends and say I represent Nigeria. I don't need to be elected. I am enjoying my social life. I can set up the Nigerian Intellectual Association and decide to get people to represent Nigeria, I don't need to be elected. And if the government thinks it is good for the nation's image and have society's support, they might throw money at it. Just like the Nigerian Supporters club did not need anyone electing them. And government throws money at them. |
mikeansy: Who does the Nigeria Football Federation represent? Nigerians! You case arguments would be thrown out of court so fast, it would be ridiculous. FIFA football membership is like an international social club. You can be thrown out of or excluded from the club. So because an entity is based or registered in your country means he government can come and change the leadership? You think it is North Korea? |
mikeansy: Good move to starve NFF of funds but it is not enoughHanding a certificate ceremonially to a President is not "evidence" of political involvement. That argument is so lame. Politicians are free to get involved or not. FIFA needs them but can also afford to ignore them if they don't want to be involved. It is called monopoly of supply. |
texaco1: The nff has no choice but to bow to tthe wishes of fg ,because there are many things to take care of , nations cup qualifiers is around d corner, coaches salaries, nff secretariat maintenance,so many commitments, and all this withdrawal of govt sponsorship is coming all of a sudden. It would have been a different case if they were given like 3 months notice to prepare for this change.definitely nff will go back and beg the sport ministerYou are making a definitive assumption that the NFF board members have the interest of the nation at heart, and would be altruistic enough to put the interest of the nation ahead of their pockets when they have a system run by FIFA that makes them untouchable. That is really a shocking assumption that suggest you are not a Nigerian or you be JJC. The only way these fucktards would give way is if FIFA decides to pull the platform they stand on and throw them to the dogs by also not supporting them with money. Otherwise, they would play brinksmanship, manage and watch Nigerian football rot, instead of resigning. They are Nigerians, not the Pope! |
joseph1013:I think Messi has proven he is the greatest player that ever graced the game but I was surprised at the award too. I would definitely have gone for Robben. What I think they saw was the 4 Man of the Matches that Messi won in the first 4 games. Maybe no one else got that much Man of the Match. But with Messi's average performance in the QF and F, and the non-showing in the SF. I would not say he merited it. Robben was consistent throughout and dangerous. |
zicoraads: And you actually believed the 'cock and bull' crap from that old man in Zurich? So you are saying that Blatter bribed all these diverse people for the sponsors and then came to publicly criticise their choice? |
OuchDaddy: Yes!!! that's d reason Messi is always favored and the same exact reason he was giving the Mvp award cus of his contract with Adidas which is a big sponsor of FIFA... FIFA is corrupt!! Maradona said this same words...MESSI DOES NOT DESERVE THE AWARD. it was given to compensate the SPONSORS OF THW WORLD CUP FOR FIFA.. they only flex muscle when it comes to AFRICAN Countries... The FG did a very very very Good Job by stopping the monthly allowances of those thieves in glass house.. LET THEM GENERATE THE FUNDS themselves..... shebi dem sabi report give FIFA!! Loool... GEJ till 2019....What a moronic ediot! Even Sepp Blatter said, shockingly, in public that he was suprised Messi was awarded, so how can you say it was a FIFA rigging? Messi was selected by an independent Study Group that included Sunday Oliseh. |
Elliotwiz1: kid. grow up.person, grow a brain. |
PetroDolla3: welcome to the paradise called shitnigeria, hell on earth! hahahahahaha death is cheap in this cursed countryMore people that vote for the likes of GEJ, Udaughan, Akpabio and Fayose and sing their praises need to meet this kind of fate for the country to progress. |
himkers: Those peeps are never proud of their country, yet they will come on nairaland to abuse NigeriansTypical Nigerian cretinous person with his equally dumb "Likers". Empty pride in a nothing. And this is your proof Ghanians are not proud of their country? Pure person! |
Elliotwiz1: you're making a fool of yourself man.insulting GEJ is totally wrong! there's no justification for such an act.if you're really as intelligent as you claim you should have known that. You are a cretinous person! Too many of your type in Africa. No wonder one of the few sane and intelligent Africans, Fashola, was praising the WEF in Nigeria the other day because intelligent people did not engage in the moronic process of grande introductions of "VIPs" like Nigerians love to do. http://www.newsng.com/story-detail.php?title=Fashola%E2%80%99s-WEF-Takeaways&story=00139a5356 I am at the level of intellectuals, not your moronic village traditions. |
house37: Please an appeal to the doctors in the house kindly disregard posts by people like sagamite that cannot make useful contributions. It is not a useful contribution to tell Nigerian doctors to develop a feedback process as part of their comprehensive patient care instead of saying "sue me"? You sure are a Nigerian. |
skelewu74: Why are you so dumb? You are really suffering from some kind of psychiatric illness. You are also a Poe. A waste to this generation if you can hide behind your computer and be talking to people on the internet like that. You are one of the reason Nigeria is where it is today. You are a cretinous person! So you think I am one of those Nigerians you can oppress with "AHHH! Me, I did medicine"? ![]() You are a cretin! I am way above that league. If there is any reason I did not do medicine, even if it was ever under consideration, was I have zero interest in the field, I love Maths too much (hence the incredible and Godly logical brain I always display) and I don't like the sight of blood/broken bones/labour or cutting people up. ![]() I am an analytical sage! Or you can also say an analytical icon if you can't pronounce that well. So person, don't ever come to someone a billion times more intelligent than you and think you can shine with your moronic "Highest Average" Medical degree. ![]() I was recently at a wedding surrounded by 5 Harvard medical school graduate BLACK girls and they all knew where the high intellect was during the chat. ![]() The university I went to would not take fucktards like you. Take that to the bank! They don't take fucktards that highlight a few exceptions as his "Highest Average" to prove that Nigeria-trained Doctors are good. ![]() Neither would my world class Alma mater take a person who states "Nigerian doctors are highly celebrated offshore, whether you like it or not" without any reference, peer comparisons or evidence. ![]() person, you are intellectually below my feet! |
OuchDaddy: Why are u so childish?? why openly insult our President like that?? you can make ur points which I find Applausive, but u don't have to be so Insultive to the Number1 Citizen... its very WRONG..I normally would not insult people that don't insult me while trying to "advise" me but I am going to tell you that you are a cretinous person! If you think I have the mentality of African reetards that respect people by virtue of their position instead of the respect their character commands, you need your head checked. No wonder Africa is a shithole! I should respect a cretin destroying people's lives because he is labelled No 1 Citizen? You are a cretinous person! I am too intelligent to be immersed in such moronic cultural outcomes of Hofstede's high power distance societies. |
So the person GEJ appointed as Sports Minister did not know this was what he should have done before being a foool that got Nigeria suspended? Don't give money to people that cannot account for it. Simple! Pay national coaches directly and reimburse players some limited expenses from a QRT (Quick Response Team) you set-up as a unit directly under the minister. The longer the Board takes removing ay person, the more of their pay they lose. You do not need to change the board, just don't fund it. If the board members can not decide to vote out fucktards, then they would be starved of funds or get it from FIFA. Don't talk, just don't pay and lets see what FIFA can do. |
