gazilion: I lost interest and stopped reading when the name of the pharmaceutical company isn't mentioned!Well said! |
xarxes: Clearly corruption stinks in Nigeria including our corporate world. I got wind recently of a non-conformer who was persecuted for not giving in to corruption. This concerns a certain medical sales representative in Lagos working for an indigenous local pharmaceutical company (names withheld) whose popular products include Artesunate and Vitamin c Glucose which you might know very well.If this is happening, there is no way the MD and Senior Managers would not know. They cannot be that detached from their strategic front line. If it is the norm as you described, then they must be condoning it. It has nothing to do with Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria or NAFDAC. |
lexxwiz: Flirty> There’s nothing like a woman that can flirt back. We know that in order to attract a woman we have to flirt. Sadly, often times they don’t flirt back but…when they do…it’s absolutely amazing. Flirting back puts you in a very strong WOMANLY position, not only are getting in control but also you are acting like a woman. A womanly woman is absolutely infatuating for any man on this planet. Simple things like curling your lips or biting them slightly, raising your eyebrows when you make a smart remark, jiggling at our jokes, being genuinely interested in what we say, these sort of things. I find this attractive too really, @Op you'r just too uptight.. Loosen up!!!I wish Naija girls can be more like this rather than just dey hard face even when dem dey interested. When persin walk away, dem go dey complain. |

Nancyij37: Independent Woman: Men don’t like seeing women depend on them, they like those know what they want in life, have their own carriers and hobbies, as the family will be build by both efforts. This as well gives the man hope that even in his absent that his (children) is safe and can be taken care of. This makes marriage very strong.Extremely good list. Just a bit of a modification on this. I think many men actually like a woman to depend on them. What they don't like is a woman to be a leech on them and also have an "entitlement mentality". Most responsible men love to take care of their woman and help solve their girl's problems when it arises. It makes them feel relevant, dependable, masculine and intelligent. It is part of the head of the household mentality. There is an evolutionary urge to take care of that smaller, cute, emotional and vulnerable being. |
passion007: Dude, read the damn article already!!!You are a person! Do the reasons make sense to you? What problems have you seen solved. passion007: “It is for the first category, the Nigerian people who have acted out of a genuine sense of patriotism, that I seize this opportunity with both hands to let the world know the truth surrounding this matter. For the second category, that is the entrenched, corrupt and profligate individuals and entities who have caused the serious rot in the aviation sector, I owe no apologies; all I owe them is to further inform them that the current generation has seen through them and are no longer willing to tolerate their antics." --Princess OduahYou are a person! So it is the entrenched, corrupt and profligate individuals and entities that made her pay 4 times the amount a car is worth? So it is the entrenched, corrupt and profligate individuals and entities that bought a car that was not needed? So it is the entrenched, corrupt and profligate individuals and entities that lied that the purchase never existed? So it is the entrenched, corrupt and profligate individuals and entities that were using the car? So it is the entrenched, corrupt and profligate individuals and entities' subordinates that lied on their superior's behalf to taxpayers?
Am not in this forum to banter words f**ls like you, how can saying my opinion leads to name calling.
“Did NCAA Purchase 2 Nos Bulletproof Vehicles for Me as the Honourable Minister of Aviation?" “There was nothing in the approved documents reflecting my name, when the budget was being made. At no time did I ever request for any vehicle from the NCAA. It was the agency that had the need and made the request to the Federal Ministry of Aviation. After the purchase on a 3 year Lease Financing arrangement, the vehicles were never delivered to me. The vehicles were also not registered in my name but that of the agency.
Nowhere did this person say "I was not the one using the cars". |
“NCAA has done this with distinction over the years ensuring that Nigeria currently has attained the coveted Category One certification of the U.S FAA; Nigeria is currently a member of the ICAO Council with the strong probability that a Nigerian may emerge the President of the ICAO Council in a matter of days, hopefully by the end of the month of November, 2013 and on the 6th of December, 2013, both the outgoing President and incoming President of ICAO will be in Nigeria. The aggregate of the various victories of Nigeria in the international arena, including the re-election of Nigeria as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, is that Nigeria is increasingly readdressing the negative perceptions about our nation. “The inadequacy and unreliability of NCAA existing operational vehicles due to old age and depreciation necessitated the acquisition of the new ones. Furthermore, with the appointment of a new Director General, Directors, General Managers and other Management Staff there was the need for additional operational and service vehicles. Moreover, the fact that NCAA, as the regulator of the industry, often plays host to dignitaries from ICAO, IATA, US FAA, AFRAA, AFCAC, BAG, CANSO, ACI and a host of others made it imperative to have various specifications of operational vehicles including the purchase of the 2 nos security/safety vehicles. Certification is a continuous exercise in aviation and surveillance is a part of the daily operations of the NCAA. “As pointed out above, Nigeria is an important player in ICAO circles and Nigeria’s emergence as a member of the General Council has increased the expectations in international aviation. Most importantly, the expected emergence of a Nigerian as the President of the General Council of ICAO will make Nigeria one of the most significant destinations for actors in the international aviation sector. This will place additional burdens on us as a nation. “It is all these factors that the NCAA considered in planning for the acquisition of the different specifications of vehicles through a Lease Financing Arrangement. The security challenges in Nigeria today are known to all and the efforts and concern of government at all levels towards tackling this have been very glaring.
I have never heard anything more moronic in my life. Even if this was an argument, you wasted money based on "the expected emergence" of a Nigerian as the President of the ICAO? Does this woman think everyone is reetarded? So a Nigerian has not been appointed, it is not guaranteed a Nigerian would be appointed, you went to waste millions on an "expected emergence" which one knows is just a moronic lie? So when this "expected Nigerian is appointed", the ICAO would move its headquarters to Nigeria? These are the cretins Jonathan is appointing in Nigeria and refusing to sack? |

Furthermore, with the appointment of a new Director General, Directors, General Managers and other Management Staff there was the need for additional operational and service vehicles.
This is the point I would ask this person how they sold the old age and depreciating operational vehicles. Who did they sell it to and for how much. Then we would see more of the corruption of these cretins! |
