cachal: I've been thinking about this for a while, and I can no longer keep it. Please I. Want us to discuss about this, why do men takes a good girl for granted? You see guys spending almost 75% of their earnings on pay girls, and can not afford to send N100 recharge card to that good girl that bearly demand for a dime? Am also a victim of this act, and I know many out there are victims of this act too.
Men don't take good girls for granted.

It is either good girls tend to select men that are bad/don't like them and when he demonstrates this that is not taking her for granted.

Or good girls are not good-looking enough to evoke selflessness from their partners.

texazzpete: Such a shame to see people swallowing this story from this crook.

Such a MASSIVE conflict of interest (his own company bidding for some of the privatized assets) would have seen him undergo serious investigation in saner climes. Certainly, a highly educated man like himself had to have known what he was doing was thoroughly unethical...to come around and blame faceless cabals for his issues is just plain hilarious.
Nigeria is a place were fucktards are leading a people majorly populated by fucktards.

It is a place where you can conveniently blame your own selfish wrong-doings on anonymous enemies, other tribes, whites and the devil, then you will see fucktards rally behind your back.

DailyNews: The fear of getting a NO from someone they will be seeing so often. Imagine if he builds up courage and walks up to a sister he had been admiring in the church, and unfortunately, the sister says: NO! I am taken, occupied, not ready now, etc.

The guy will never be able to cope with the shame, especially when he will be seeing the sister in church always.

You know, after many stories and experiences shared by different guys of how they got turned down or snubbed by some rude and manner-less ladies they cherished and wished to love and marry, guys of nowadays have learnt to keep quiet even when they cherish a lady, most responsible guys always keep that admiration to themselves, most times forever.

Not all guys can handle rejection from a lady they cherish and have fantasize a good future with, hence, many responsible guys in general have withdrew from wooing and and toasting women.

That's the sad situation right now. I know plenty guys in this shoe.
Well said.

I can handle rejection but I have far more respect for myself than wilfully interacting with women that will likely give rude rejections.

Caracta: We don't have leaders in Nigeria, we only have public office holders. And no, i don't want to believe there are no worse countries. I know we hate to obey rules. We hate to maintain when we can 'manage'. We hate to be told what to do by someone in uniform because we are unquestionable. We hate to follow due process because it is a complete waste of time and in naija we don't have up to 24 hours a day unlike other nations...ours is probably 15 hours.

So we need to be fast. We need to rush the national cake and embezzle funds for ourselves, our children, our great-grandchildren, our great-grandparents, our great-grand cousins, our great-grand friends, etc.

Greed! There is an atom of it in every average Nigerian. So you see, the problem is deeper than what you see on the surface. It is in us (them). grin

CelebritiesRe: Funke Akindele And The Bastardisation Of The English Language – Daniel Odih by Sagamite(m): 8:35pm On Nov 01, 2013
I read the beginning of the write-up and concluded Daniel Odih is a person.

These are what is making him lose sleep?

For example, “More grease to your elbow” is a bastardised version of “More power to your elbow”; “Cut your coat according to your size” instead of “Cut your coat according to your cloth”; “Action speak louder than voice” instead of “Actions speak louder than words”; “The devil you know is better than the angel you don’t know” instead of “Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t”; and “Half bread is better than none” instead of “Half a loaf is better than no bread.”

What difference does it make if one says "grease" or "power"?

He has nothing better to do with his time.

TravelRe: How To Survive A Plane Crash (with Illustrative Pictures) by Sagamite(m): 8:19pm On Nov 01, 2013
Caracta: I totally agree. Our so-called leaders have been failing us. And i actually think failure is in their DNAs...i mean they can't help it. It's natural to them because they are programmed to fail (no pun intended cheesy)

He said," ...only in naija do we need safety tips" or something like that and i wanted him to understand that safety tips are meant for everyone. I'm actually tired of people bashing Nigeria and her people here and there (with annoying and ridiculous remarks) without trying to make a change. Give them power and watch them fail too.
Failure and Fucktardism is in their DNA.

I have heard many stories of Nigerian airline operators delaying scheduled maintenance and "managing" an aircraft just a bit more to increase profit margins. Bribing inspectors.

Complete Naija mentality: "We don try", no need to be the best.

If you are going to fly in Nigeria, fly only Arik Air and Aero Contractors if you really, really, really love your life. They don't cut corners because they have foreign association that forces their Nigerian employees not to cut corners.

Their lack of plane crashes has absolutely nothing to do with Nigerian authorities.

Caracta: The blame shouldn't be on only Stella Oduah. I know she is responsible for the aviation sector but Nigerians have poor maintenance culture (even in our homes).

Blame that man that refused to do his job well. Blame that woman that didn't make a good report. Blame that guy that took a bribe and covered things up. Blame Nigerians for voting for/supporting the wrong candidate(s) in all tiers of the government.

Then blame Stella... cheesy
Gba be! grin

Caracta: I am not holding brief for Nigerian airlines...far from it. But to think Nigeria is the only country in the world that needs these tips doesn't make sense to me. We have not had it easy over the past few years, i agree. These tips are for every one...black, white, Nigerian, non-Nigerian, Mixed Nigerian or whatever.

Attaching a Nigerian tag to it is not necessary.
I agree with you but I don't see how what he said has wrong.

I don't know any other country on Earth that has had the same number of crashes as Nigeria in recent times.

5 of those 8 crashes I stated have happened in the last 10 years. No other nation on Earth can claim such "achievement".

All Nigeria brings its citizens are: https://www.nairaland.com/1410261/tear-burn-nigerian-passport-once/4#17647364

I can almost guarantee you that another crash will happen at worst in the next 2 years because we have fucktards like Jonathan running our country and no one would be punished, and we have fucktards making up the majority of the led, who would defend "our own", not defend what is right.

We would be back hear discussing another plane crash soon. Trust me!

People flying in Nigeria need this advice more than any flyer in any other nation on Earth.

Caracta: So planes only crash in Nigeria? You know, sometimes i wonder why some of you think with your armpits.
No commercial plane flying from or to the UK has crashed fatally due to maintenance issues since 1954. That is roughly 60 years ago.

Nigeria has had 8 in the last 20 years killing probably over 1000 people during that period, all due to the conditions of the planes.

The airline owners are using people's lives as collateral for cutting corners while those suppose to be regulating them are buying bullet-proof cars at 5 times the actual sale prices.
