masonkz: I've never seen American female citizens clamouring for Polygamy though. Else I'm sure they would have given it a thought. So what the females want is what matters? A sane and finger-pointing society does not have to have people clamouring for something before they apply it. You just have to have a set of values and rules which you apply consistently on all issues. |
manny4life: Nigeria isn't discriminating but criminalizing? I dey hear you... Carry goGood point. The US also does not "discriminate" against paedophilia but it sure criminalises it. |
Uyi Iredia: Wu Zetian I have replied in you in the topic Illuminatus made. Bros Saga ! Well done oA lot of people don't realise I formulated my opinion on this issue based on deep thinking and logical checks. Not on some moronic funky movement of progressive-wannabes based on propaganda brainwash. |
manny4life: So if we're to go by the "dictionary definition",Discrimination? Nigeria is not discriminating. They are criminalising. That is like a por-n producer claiming laws "discriminate" on his work, he has a right to equality with other movie producers. Don't try and use all these pro-homosexual dysphemism you have been brainwashed with with me. It is not discrimination, it is criminalisation. |
ravgach: The deviation is a symptom of the disease eating them up - licentiousness, freedom without control, homosexuality! Gay lifestyle is actually going to take over America and will lead to their eventual collapse and breakup like the former soviet union. It will be some parts of the country that will recover themselves much, much later. After seeing this, I have no option but to conclude this guy is a pure and unrefined person. ![]() |
masonkz: Lol. As funny as it sounds, the acceptance of gay people in Nigeria is more realistic than the coming of the Christian' Messiah.True that! But acceptance of homosexuals would not happen in Nigeria in our lifetime. |
ravgach: Gay lifestyle is synonymous with atheism. If you call the record of the Bible fairytales, I will not quarrel with you because people bigger, better, richer and more powerful than you have gone this way without any headway. Many of them have died miserable, shameful deaths.Show me the confirmation by scientists of Sodom and Gomorrah. The bible is a book of fairytales written by illiterates claiming they know God. What headway are you making with your bible? Your pastor is living lavishly and has a private jet is your headway? |
is that right? were then do miracles come from?
From magicians and movies. |
manny4life: So please, define how you mean by "EQUAL OPPORTUNITY"?Equal opportunity is what it says in the dictionary. Why should they recognise it? What makes the stiff penalty absurd? Would you have preferred 2 years? Or 5 years or what? |
if nigerians call them selves Religious, why dont we get hold of all the gay people pray for them to healed?
Religious does not equate to miracle! |
ravgach: That is the challenge! equating this stinking evil with religious beliefs and normal marriage between a man and woman/women. The difference is that between the heaven and the earth. Being gay is actually very, very serious issue, an issue that made God to close down two known countries forever! I wish the world would understand the seriousness of the danger we face by this kind of lifestyle.Which countries did God close down? ![]() You want to use your useless fairytales for arguments? |
manny4life: It's asinine and more so ridiculous to even compare SA and Russia on both economic term, besides, what else is Russia greater than America in other than their nuclear weapons?Nigeria and any nation can build a foundation based on equal opportunity and justice for all without accepting homosexuality. Accepting homosexuality is not the alpha-metric of measuring equal opportunity and justice for all. I don't see what point is being made with this silly assertion. |
Miss EZ: No one is saying they cannot address it. I understand your point about it being positioned as a global issue, but was it really necessary to institute a law? All Nigerians are aware of where we stand on the issue of homosexuality as a country. The law in my opinion is wrong in this case because it violates the rights of people. Its just over kill for no reason IMHO.It is very necessary to make a law. It is very necessary to make a definitive statement of opposition when your opponents are on the ascendancy and succeeding with their attacking tactics. https://www.nairaland.com/1489287/nigerians-against-same-sex-marriage/2#19035809 You don't fight when you have lost. How does it violate people's rights? |
masonkz: The fact remains that we will keep being around, and like I said, it's only a matter of time. So the sooner the stop all these their not-part-of -our-culture brouhaha, the better for them.A matter of time? I hope you realise time is long? Christians are still waiting for the return of Jesus and I personally think they would still be waiting in another 1 billion years. So don't expect any stopping 'soon'. |
dahfweshdude69: jeez...dis world is in shambles...d present generation can say no but Wat about d upcoming generations...am 17 and I have dis friend who thinks homosexuality should b allowed... he has so many homo pals...now imagine if. Dat pal finds himself in power...we dey battle boko... ASUU never call of strike...now homo peeps are bringing dere own trouble... only GOD can save us....Your friend is an impressionable fooool who is just trying to join the "funky train" so he looks cool. |
Miss EZ: Nigeria has far bigger problems than gay marriage. Insecurity, poverty, education, employment, corruption should be the major cause of concern and not gay marriage. One thing the Nigerian government is good at is distracting people from the main issues. I have noticed Nigerians love to be distracted as long as they can blame someone or something for their woes.I am sure as useless as our government is, homosexual marriage is not the main issue on their plate or what they want to focus on. It is just that the Western world have decided it should be one of the No 1 global issues, they want to keep it at the forefront of all discussions and whip up a movement to support it, hence leaving governments without options and forcing governments like Nigeria's to address it. The West control the press and the issues discussed occur through this medium. 30 years ago, Nigerian government did not give a shyt about homosexuals. 20 years ago, Nigerian government did not give a shyt about homosexuals. 10 years ago, Nigerian government did not give a shyt about homosexuals. What do you think changed? |
BabaAlabi: A good friend of mine loves listening to songs by Terry G while another is into rock. Guess which one is writing JAMB for the 4th time?It might correlate, but definitely is not causal or proof of level of intelligence. |
wman: Funny how so many would love watching lesbians perform in por.n films & enjoy threes.omes with 2 girls involved yet they say they are anti-gay.How do you plan to enforce no marriage if you intend to make it legal for anyone to feel free to sleep with whom he likes in his private room? |
Pacify: I haven't played it yet, but just like you, I'm a fan of PES. If they eventually mess things up like U pointed out, then I'm outBe out! Played it with a nairalander this weekend and it was absolutely rubbish. The shots by strikers are like passes to the keeper. |
It is because of Step 1 and 4 that there is this current huge pressure in the Western media for any currently active homosexual sports star to come out of the closet. |
You're the one who choose to submit that as "evidence" bro. You should not come here with half truths. If you are going to make a post based on something that is supposedly happening, you should be able to bring everything to the table. The fact that even the person who wrote the article does not appear to have seen the book as they could not take anything from this "imaginary" book. So if you who presented it cannot proof it's existence, why should I do that for you?
I submitted the evidence. You claim it is fake. Prove it! This is a pro-homosexual website with the same reference: http://library.gayhomeland.org/0018/EN/EN_Overhauling_Straight.htm They are part of the conspiracy? |
Can you prove that it was?
You are the one saying it is a conspiracy theory.Prove it. |
linearity: Can you mention one ground that CU have broken? e.g a breakthrough research, a cure, an academic research that have added to knowledge, etc...seating 50k people in one auditorium in this age when the goal is to reduce teacher to student ratio per class is not an achievement. Those are the graduates the Conman is churning out and fooling people his university would soon be rated top 10 in the world. ![]() "We built a big auditorium, hence we are making waves over the world"! ![]() And when you call them product of a failed education system, dem go dey vex gan. |
Illuminatus: Safeguarding in the sense that if someone is attacked for his sexuality, he could go and report it to the law enforcement without being thrown in jail. That is mutually exclusive to anti-homosexual laws. It is about efficiency and effectiveness of governance. Something completely different. |
This looks more like a script from an "anti-illumination" site bro
It "looks" like? You can't prove it or at least argue it? What part of the 6 steps do you think is a conspiracy theory? You think the book was never written? You think that is a conspiracy theory? |
Ajibel: @Sagamite:And that is why they have all focused their pro-homosexual policies on Africa. You don't hear them dare say such to Saudi Arabia or Indonesia or even Thailand. They have less leverage on Nigeria though because we are not as dependent on their aid. What they have on us are our corrupt leaders who stash their loot in the Western countries. |
Illuminatus: I meant gay people in Nigeria. You are chatting absolute rubbish! I suggest you start forming a habit of reading or listening to the news. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-24323593 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2047254/David-Cameron-Foreign-aid-cut-anti-gay-countries.html All men are equal is not the same thing as all acts are equal. |
I never put you as one who would believe in conspiracy theories ![]() ![]() I can't wait to see your view of the illuminati ![]()
What rubbish are you talking about?Did you read the link? Someone wrote a BOOK detailing what needs to be done! All the person said is what has been happening in the last 30 years and you say it is conspiracy theory? Okay, tell me why you think it is a conspiracy theory. |
Ajibel: If the govt has the intention to pass the law to ban the act, what is delaying themI can guarantee you that the US and the West in general are threatening Jonathan in private. All that needs to happen is for him to sign it. The legislative chambers have already passed it. I am sure they are threatening his cretinous arsse that if he dares sign it, then he would pay. And I know they will have a good documentation of his corruption to hold him by the balls and probably even bring him down as he is a weak and dumb man with weak political power. If we had the likes of Buhari or OBJ as President, this would have been signed by now. |
This is laughable bro
Why is it laughable? |
