It has become obvious that this apc members lack the basic knowledge of modern governance. Every of their comment, from the greatest of them in apc to the least. In governance, to achieve a set goal, you go for the hands that will help you realize the goal, no matter who they are and where they are. In 1999, what most people didnt know was that over 40% of Obj's cabinet were from opposition APP and AD. Many were still attending their party's programs while still in obasanjo's cabinet. For God's sake, if you need a competent minister and he is in opposition party, go get him to come deliver, talkless of a woman whose loyalty lies within the same apc. Afterall, is it because she voiced hers out. How many apc members in that federal cabinet that will not vote Tinubu if he decides to run against buhari. There is nothing there. Dear OP, I will respond to your post by firstly asking you a few questions and secondly dropping a few words of counsel. Firstly, on a few questions: *Are you a christian? *Are your in-laws Christians too? *What was their relationship with your husband like before he married you? *Have you at anytime stopped your husband from helping them either before or now you are married? *Do you sincerely think that your husband's attitude towards his aunts has changed negatively towards them after marrying you? Secondly on a few words of counsel: *If you are a christian, then it is important that you commit the situation firstly into God's hand in prayers for he is more than able to take care of the situation in his own (best) way. *If your in-laws in question are Christians, then finding solution to the issue will be a lot easier from godly perspective, otherwise it is certainly a more herculean task. *Let me also say here that it was not in your best interest for your husband to have asked you to do to them whatever pleased you. By that he was putting you at a cross-fire zone which may consume you, especially if you are not strong when it comes to spiritual warfare. My sister, let me counsel you not to undermine the extent in-laws can go just to get at a woman whom they see as being an obstacle to their having their way with their brother. *I know many will not agree with me on this, but it is my candid opinion. You have to encourage your husband in their very presence to be of help to them as much as he can willing offer to them. *In addition, see to it that your husband's attitude does not change towards his people lest you be accused of manipulating him. Truth is that many women will accuse their daughter/sister in-law once they suspect that their son/brother is being manipulated by his wife. *Finally, do not disrespect your in-laws. How can a right thinking person claim that the woman did not commit any crime? Is it morally right for a widow to have sex in her late husbands home? The Igbos do not encourage sexual promiscuity like the Yorubas who are shamelessly justifying the widow's action. If the widow could no longer hold herself then she should have moved out of the late husband's house and remarry. This is the bitter truth that those who have no values and morals are shying away from. But then, let me also say here that the action of the villagers is condemnable as well. |

Those who are blaming the Senators are hypocrites. Magu failed integrity test based on DSS report. Are the Magu proponents saying that Magu must be confirmed as the EFCC chairman just because some senators are alleged to be corrupt? Are the Magu supporters saying that the DSS report is false? Have the Magu advocates defended Magu on the allegations contained in the said DSS report against him? Are the Maguists saying that Magu is the only person that can do the job well in the present administration? It is a show of crass arrogance for the man to insist not wearing Customs' uniform. Again, this to me, is a show of lack of discipline which is not expected of a public officer. To think that he asked if he was appointed to wear uniform makes one wonder if he was engaged in the military to wear uniform when he was in the military? And asking if it is the uniform that does the work or the man himself, is like suggesting that staff and members of the Customs service should not also wear uniforms since it is not the uniforms that do the work but the men themselves. May be our school children should not wear uniforms to schools since uniforms themselves do not study/learn but the students. 1 Like |
