PoliticsRe: Muhammadu Buhari Is Not Poor - Will Ross, BBC News by saint047(m): 12:55pm On Sep 05, 2015
A foreigner living in Nigeria asked me what ONE CHANCE means. I told him that it's about criminals filling up their bus with their members waiting to do harm to unsuspecting passengers. They pretend that their transportation only needs one passenger to depart to your destination, as against an empty bus that will wait longer to fill up before departure. And if you get into the bus, your obituary may have just been written. He replied, that sounds like APC government.

The APC is now being haunted by the saying, “When you point one finger, there are three fingers pointing back at you.” If it knew, it wouldn’t have accused Goodluck Jonathan of running a very corrupt government. Most times, we forget to listen to the voice of reason that says, “Look in the mirror, brother. You might just be talking about yourself.” It is now clear that the APC focused on the speck in Jonathan’s eye and ignored the log in their own eyes.” Who would have thought that just few weeks into a new regime in Lagos State, Fashola would be engulfed with the following accusations – Drilling of just two bore holes with N139m, remodelling and equipping of the official residence of the state’s Chief Judge at N510m, reconstructing of a car park with N640m, spending N300m to relocate cables, N175m to replace the railings of a pedestrian bridge, N220m on the facility management of the Lagos State University College of Medicine, N619m on surface repair of a road, N1.2bn on the construction of an unidentified multi-storey building, N1.6bn on the construction of a 48-bedroom hotel. These things don’t seem like what a person as intelligent as the former governor would do; especially for those of us who regard him as one of the very few bright spots of our democracy. In fact, I am still of the belief that in the annals of corrupt governors in Nigeria, his place remains to be seen. But the question here is, can the Lagos State government come out with such weighty accusations without having evidence to back them up?.

Thanks and may you remain at the top. I have said it that Buhari is a Fulani man, an Extreme Islamist and an ex military man. The Fulanis from records are lovers of themselves. If one likes, let him kill his entire family to support Buhari. Do anything to prove say you love the Buhari and his northerners, Buhari will NEVER look at it to be anything. Buhari is known to be one of the worst tribalistic human being on earth. This is the one Nigeria we are happy of.

I hope one day this spell placed on some Nigerians will expire. This country has been unable to make meaningfull progress because truth has been silenced. where is the federal character, provided by the constitution, which is the supreme document guiding and regulating government and governance in Nigerian? There is no single trace of federal character in Buhari appointment. It is needfull to state here that the federal character was established as a binding force of unity in Nigeria, where by Nigerians across the six geo political zones will participate in the governing process of the nation. It is an insult to say that certain geo political zones lack competent personnel to man sensitive governmental offices, this is a calculated attempt to make some citizens of Nigeria, lesser Nigerians, who must be used as dummies. Buhari is known as the president of Nigeria, not president of some certain tribes and ethnic groups, and he must act as Nigerian's president, not something else
