These things don’t seem like what a person as intelligent as the former governor would do; especially for those of us who regard him as one of the very few bright spots of our democracy. In fact, I am still of the belief that in the annals of corrupt governors in Nigeria, his place remains to be seen. But the question here is, can the Lagos State government come out with such weighty accusations without having evidence to back them up?.

I'm surprised at d way pple analyse things...must all of us support one man must we all b in the same party. What's the meaning of competition if there are no oppositions..why do dey use the word contest? Its bcoz there are other contestants vying for the position..bt is that enough reason why appointment shld b lopsided..are running a northern govt or a Nigerian govt...we Dnt need all this man favouritism nepotism n tribalism...all we Wnt is all inclusive govt...except if u guys will tell me dat he has com wth northern agenda as acclaimed by some pple b4 d election den I wldnt b perturbed by dis manner of appointments...bt all the same let's still do our part in building a Nigeria of out dreams...we shall all see n assess him at d end of 4 yrs...bt if there b any compelling reasons to cry foul after 2yrs we will nt fail to do so...we are all sleeping wth one eye open we're watching Mr buhari's every steps...God bless naija

I hope one day this spell placed on some Nigerians will expire. This country has been unable to make meaningfull progress because truth has been silenced. where is the federal character, provided by the constitution, which is the supreme document guiding and regulating government and governance in Nigerian? There is no single trace of federal character in Buhari appointment. It is needfull to state here that the federal character was established as a binding force of unity in Nigeria, where by Nigerians across the six geo political zones will participate in the governing process of the nation. It is an insult to say that certain geo political zones lack competent personnel to man sensitive governmental offices, this is a calculated attempt to make some citizens of Nigeria, lesser Nigerians, who must be used as dummies. Buhari is known as the president of Nigeria, not president of some certain tribes and ethnic groups,and he must act as Nigerian's president, not something else
