She had been moody and bitter, things weren’t fair to her, no man wants her and everybody seems to hate her, she had become a total wreck and in her bid to find happiness she went to parties every Friday and Sunday day but for each time she wakes up after party night, she was worse than she was before she went. She had sex with every slightest advances and wakes up from it with even a sadder face. She tried beers and alcohols to forget her sorrows and yet each times is sober she got even angrier and took more and more alcohols and yet to no avail. Her friends introduced her to drugs and she got addicted, so dependant that she couldn’t stay any day without it. One day I asked her after she told me her story, she said, I want to be happy, that’s why I tried all that but it’s not working, you tried with the wrong thing I replied.
Yes, real happiness is not in places and people, it’s not in activities etc. though places, certain activities, partying, dancing etc. might give us certain satisfaction but Joy is the result of fellowship with God.
When you seek for joy and happiness outside Christ, you will never find it and your search will become a burden that would bring more sorrow and meaninglessness to you.
When you are angry with yourself, others, or God, it saps away your joy too, to get joy, forgive yourself, forgive others, and stop been angry with God because He is not the cause of your predicament.
The hunger for joy and happiness in man is his hunger to fellowship with God and that hunger can only be fulfilled when such person has began fellowshipping with Christ by giving his heart to Christ.
When you feel sad and bitter, when you desire to be happy and joyful, then your spirit calls for fellowship with God, go to God and your joy will be restored.

I am trying my best to stay away from talking about Nigerian politics and politicians. The reason is because it is the surest way to get oneself aggravated with the most unpleasant feelings. If you want a free dose of acrimony, just start discussing Nigeria and her politics and you'll get a bonanza of what you wished for.A celebration from certain folks who identify themselves as Buharists with a lofty practice of chorusing "Sai Buhari" upon the news of the emergence of Buhari as the winner of the APC presidential primaries deals a blow of a comfortable disappointment in my eyes.How can you possibly celebrate the emergence of Buhari in a party that had better options of presenting refined people like Fashola or better options like Fayemi and Oshiomole? Even Rochas Okorocha is a more comfortable joke than the coup d' etat General.The country is insane! The citizens are clueless and myopic. If you can rejoice that a man who over-threw or benefited from the usurpation of a democratically elected government, is openly unapologetic over it and ran a very brutal and abusive junta, then you deserve the clueless man in Aso Rock ten times.

This is a man who said he will not contest for the Presidential race again, defended the monstrous junta of Abacha as "not corrupt," presided over a petroleum ministry where funds running in the billions disappeared under his watch and yet you chorus about his integrity? Do you know what integrity means? Someone says he won't do a thing and next tomorrow he wakes up doing the same thing he promised never to get involved in and you are not worried about a man of such personage? If he could not keep to his word, why would he keep to his promises upon being entrusted with power?This is a man who has not presented any manifesto, plan, nor submitted any idea or plan he intends to runs with if elected into power. All we hear is "I'll fight corruption," "Vote me and my party and they'll be security," and "I am the answer to a buoyant economy," etc. How the heck do you intend to bring these superficial promises to light? Will you fart out insecurity? You think the economy is run by rhetorics? Or you want to fight insurgency with words of mouth? No explanation, no manifesto, nothing practical just cheap vague promises and the mindless followers chorus "Sai Buhari!"I do not understand folks in Nigeria.

If you think that Buhari will do a better job simply because the man in Aso Rock is acting like a clueless docile which makes it easy for the Sharia enthusiasts to fart any vague rhetoric to your patronage, then I laugh. You do not find it shameful and disturbing that in a country of over 170 million people, the best that could be offered to contest for the Presidency are a Sharia enthusiast who over-threw a democratically elected government and most importantly has no plans and manifesto to offer and a disappointing commander-in-chief who runs a government of proud incompetence and loud cluelessness. I am ashamed.In a saner clime neither GMB or President Jonathan would have been allowed to preside over a nursery school not to mention a country of over 170 million people. Sorry, we are lost. A country where two non-senses are put before you to try to make sense from them. Meanwhile, this is the same nation where we have the likes of Donald Duke, Fashola, Nuhu Ribadu, and few others and they are in perfect fettle. Sai! Una shame me!

He was a Governor of the N/E,the home of Terrorism. What was his vision and policies there?How many schools and Hospitals were built. These questions have become very pertinent because the N/E has become a source of concern to all of us. First it was Maitatsine and now BH. Add to the fact that they asked him to mediate on their behalf with the FG to resolve the crisis which he refused, except he is made president .Moreover,the present crop of Terrorists were born when himself and other northerners were at the helm of affairs. What was there plan for these children that have
turned Into terrorists. BH is essentially a problem of lack of sound education. If people are properly educated it is less likely for them to believe all that somebody else tells them from a religious book.They could read for themselves. Next,he was in the petroleum ministry, the NNPC has always been a source of concern to most Nigerians.What innovative ideas did he introduce while there? In fact money was also said to be missing while he was there. The said money was later allegedly traced to an account belonging to him in Midland Bank London. How about when he was a military Head of state.what were his policies? He did try an anti corruption crusade which was good but his methods were to say the least crude.People were bundled into prison without proper trials for up to 250 years. Ofcourse all of them were later released. What of his economic policies. Crude.People were forced to sell below cost in a price control regime. After a short while they ran out of stock and we had to queue to buy things like milk,sugar,etc. The question then now is are these the policies we need in Nigeria of today?Definitely no.The way to fight corruption is to continue to block all the loopholes within the system and hope that our judiciary will rise to the occasion of treating corruption cases expeditiously. We do not need a Buhari to come and reverse all our modest achievements on the platter of fighting corruption and BH. as was the case in 1983.The Ajaokuta steel plant and Lagos Metro line among others are constant reminders. I want to end this piece by saying what military colleagues of Buhari said of him.IBB,Abacha,Dogonyaro said Buhari was ineffective, and stubborn. These and others led to his overthrow by his colleagues then.Lastly, the Buhari project is that of those saying that power must come to them at all costs.It is not bourne out of our collective interest.The present Government is on the right track. Nobody had faulted any of there policies

Nigerians are shocked that a total of 1,206 valid votes are still missing in the just concluded APC presidential primaries.

Party leaders that noticed this after the winner was declared, were dumbfounded to note that the joint aspirants voted totalled 5,992 Votes against the 7,214 valid votes. The question then is, what happened to the 1,206 votes?

Was the APC primaries pre-determined and the public deceived by pre-arranged show, as seen on the television.
Nigerians demands explanations, because if this Primaries was conducted by INEC and about 17% of valid votes got missing without explanation, by now over 3,000 Nigerians should have been roasted alive by party mobs.
