So ntel wawu suscription now belonging to cartels? I think they cut everyone out because of the abuse. After unsuccessful to recharge and contact them via normal SM, I have to call some of their agents and she advised me to go to their ikoyi office in Lagos. I got there, paid in cash and they activated it within few hours. The stress worth it. 3k for 48gig for the month will go along way in my business.

For me umidigi one all the way, no constraints on LTE bands and an awesome processor but extra ram. It's a no brainer

I believe he did in a follow up post.

His follow-up didn't show the band, it only showed that Glo is on 4G. That's why I quoted him and asked him to use LTE discovery and repeat the one SIM disable mode

Are you in Lagos? If yes have you considered that this band may still not be present here yet?

U don't get me, I agree there's a new band but in as much as there's 2 Sims in the phone the line in SIM 1 takes precedence, so unless he disables the alternate SIM he won't get the true band.

Glo has deployed another band (3), so no I will pass. My OCD will never allow me to stare at a screen with that hideous big 4G icon.

As much as I'm happy about the new band for Glo I don't think it's band 3.

I tried the same procedure that Lanre did with LTE discovery when both my Sims were on and I got band 7. I only saw the band 28 when I disabled my MTN and only left the Glo SIM active. I've asked that he repeats the process with just th Glo but no response yet.

As for the big 4G icon it's only on the A3 and A3 pro both of which do not have band 28. But the umidigi one and umidigi one pro have very small 4G icons

Hello Lanre316, can you please turn of the second SIM and leave only the Glo line active. Cos I tried it on my phone and until I turned off MTN I didn't get to see the band 28 on my phone. I was seeing the band 7 of my MTN SIM
