Like the ncdc dg said before states aren't sending samples for testing. Akwa ibom just had their own testing lab so maybe it'll increase testing of samples in the state. Either some governors are going by the covid isn't lethal here narrative so let's just test a few samples or they are just clueless.
And you believe NCDC, the agency that do not believe they ever do anything wrong, look at the situation of coronavirus in Nigeria, still NCDC is always looking for who to blame always.

First it was no testing kits, then Nigerians are not coming out for testing, now governors are not sending much samples.

na so
there is big politics in this thing, especially in Akwq Ibom.
back then we always has 1case, 2cases, 3 or 4 at most, all of a sudden, it was 3 days to the launching of the isolation centre that governor Udom built, and we had 10cases on the first day, and 10cases on the 2nd day and the next udom unveiled the centre for them, and since then, we've not had a single case.

does it mean the 20cases in 2days did not have a single contact ? does it mean that even with our proximity to Rivers state, that is always staging spot with the top 4 on the table that we've not had a single case coming in ? even Aba that had a big spike, is where we buy everything...

the problem is not with the government acting a script, the problem is that they don't even pay a good script writer..
there is corona in Nigeria and its serious, but the government are just making movie scripts off it, and their stories sulks.
The government are not being sincere, and when you as a concerned citizen ask questions some i too know all, self educated people will come to attack you.

The thing is simple, the government are not doing well in this fight and it only means one thing, they want it to continue.

God, Please give us your miracle, so that corona virus will go away From Nigeria
See the problem with Nigerians, now you are here disturbing God.. Better beg your government to take the fight serious so they can finally flatten the curve if at all they are not making the numbers up but no, you are disturbing God.

Those countries you saw doing good, they did not disburb God, they disburbed their leaders.

In my case, I never knew my dream girl was even crushing on me. Whenever we bumped into each other, she would greet and faced off. I was wondering how on earth would I get this kind of lady, because she is exceptional beautiful and dresses like a model. I just jejely kept that thought in my dreams.

One day, when I closed from work, I went to a grocery store near my working place, fortunately I saw her there, she came for same purpose. I was kind of confused on how to go about the purchase, immediately she sighted me, she saw my confused look and came closer. I was kind of nervous and she asked me what I wanted to buy that she would assist me.

I was shocked down to my bone marrow, because I saw her to be above my level with her carriage and beauty. I gave her more than the money for the items I have on my list. To my surprise, she came with those items along with my change. I asked her to keep it,but she refused and insist I take it. Before she left I took her contact.

To cut the story short, I called her the following day, her countenance towards me was more than green light. Immediately I shoot my shot, she didn't hesitate or play hard to get, she said YES and that she had been imaging being in a relationship with me for a very long time, and she doesn't see me to be desperate.

My people, the joy that ran across my heart was as if I won a jackpot. Oh boy! See me see model. The following day, she came around to cook for me, the rest was history.

To my amazement, she was single when I met her and she loves me to a fault.. We have been dating for over a year now and she gave me every reason to love even after giving up on love. Anytime soon, we shall be making the necessary move.

EducationRe: Schools Remain Shut For Now, WAEC, NECO Candidates May Resume First – Minister by Saintinoo(m): 8:30am On Jun 10, 2020
Colossusgist:
The Federal Government says schools cannot be reopened now as it is not yet safe to do so. The Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, stated this in Abuja during the briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19. He described as fake, reports that the government would reopen schools on June 21. He said: “Any reopening of school would involve the advice of experts on when it is safer to reopen schools.

He added that the reason is to avoid the mistake of shipping the students in and out of school and the Ministry would not like to lead Nigerians into danger by being in a hurry to reopen schools. “I’ll not want to experiment with your children.

He mentioned that what the Ministry is planning at the moment is to bring those that’ll be exiting from Junior Secondary to Senior and those who will be writing the West Africa Examinations Council (WAEC) as well as NECO and NABTEB to write their promotion exams and looking at when the interstate lockdown will be reopened so the children can move to write their exams in their schools.

Also responding to this, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and PTF Chairman, Boss Mustapha, said Nigeria would not reopen schools in a hurry in order to avoid severe consequences that happened to other countries. He cited South Korea that reopened the schools and had to shut them again when the cases spiked as well as Israel that also reopened the schools and shut them again.

Fantastic opinion and observation. True talk there. For me, lockdown means nothing at this stage, as the earlier ones were squandered. Effort should be made at this point for everyone to learn or be taught how to live with this virus. For how long can any nation really lockdown?
But the government has to work hard to fight the spectre of the widespread doubts and ignorance around this pandemic. The secretiveness with which the pandemic is being managed breeds distrust and mistrust, and it creates loud rooms for unfounded speculations and theories. People want to see what is going INSIDE the isolation centres. This is a pandemic. Whatever ethics forbid that does not hold under the circumstances. Laws were made for man and not man for law. All those excuses of it is against medical ethics is unacceptable. Enough is enough. We all cannot troop down to the centres to see for ourselves, why do we have electronic media?
The only was government can help educate people about this virus is to be sincere, see, even a 5 year old boy know tthat coronavirus is active in Nigeria, but the government are not sincere and do not carry the people along...

They should be open and sincere about everything, you need to come and see what the government and Nigeria military are doing to bokoharam issue in Borno, a mere case of sacrifacing it citizens for money, people have lost hope and trust in this government.

Even if the case reaches 1m, Nigerians will still not believe, we know for sure that the government are not serious with this fight and people are tired, for 4 goo months, what have they been doing, and now NCDC are telling us that we are just beginning with the pandemic?

They should open the economy in full with restrictions to some things, and let live with this, vaccine is not coming anything soon, not even next year.

June 8
Total sample tested: 78,224
Confirmed new cases: 315
Sample tested on June 8: 1,704

June 9
Total sample tested: 79,948
Confirmed new cases: 663
Sample tested on june 9: not included..

To get the sample tested on june 9, we subtract the total sample tested on june 8 from that of june 9...
79,948 -78,224 = 1,724

A test of 1,704 was carried out on june 8... 315 came out positive, 1724 was carried out the following day, 663 came out as positive..

How did it happen??
Are they retesting the confirmed cases and adding them to give new cases.. I no dey understand anything again like diz
I thought i was the only person that noticed this... Does it mean that every Nigeria now has coronavirus?

Does it mean that 6 out of 10 samples will come out positive, even n USA it is not like that.

Just recently (last 2 weeks), my girlfriend broke up with me and gave no tangible reason, we have been planning to get married. I kept pestering her for the real reason she broke up, she just keep on saying the relationship is not going to work out.
Just yesterday evening, I asked her again, she said she broke up with me cause my best friend always beats his wife and I would also end up beating her when we get married. I don't know how she got to know my friend beats his wife, but does that mean I would also be hitting my wife when we get married. I have never been a violent person, I am so disappointed with her, we having been dating for long and she doesn't know who I am.
You should be doing thanksgiving in church, you just missed a bullet...
