I was baptized and confirmed, did confession and penance every Friday, took holy communion every Sunday. Now this is what you need to know. The Holy spirit is not God, but is rather a vital aspect of God..the agency, means or better yet divine force through which the Father and Christ both work. This Spirit is pure, righteous and truth.

Ananias and Sapphira lied to God and also to test the Spirit of the Lord” when you read to (verse 9). They did not trust the LORD, so they lied to the HOLY SPIRIT that was dwelling in the apostles and all of the others (Acts 5:4). Because of that, they both dropped dead and were buried (Acts 5:1-10).
The Holy Spirit is of God, that is..the power of God binding the apostles as one in accord. Ananias action was a break away from that Spirit. He lying to the Holy Spirit does not signify that the Holy Spirit is a person(being) or a form as another God.

It is a common way in Greek literatures and letters that most animate and inanimate objects are assigned gender either masculine or feminine.

Take for example a country is termed as HER
Another example is in Proverbs chapter 8 where "wisdom" is personified.

1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

And so on, if you read through that chapter..you will see that wisdom is pictured speaking as a person with the terms, I, She, Stand, Cry attributed in the description of wisdom.

So u r then implying the Holy Spirit is been personified these scriptures.
