PoliticsRe: Traditional Ruler, Son Exchange Words At Poll Center by saintneo(m): 8:26am On Apr 05, 2011
maclatunji:
That is the way it is for most people. If you decide to make your own way, you will have to battle several demons and it is only with help of God that you can overcome them.
aisha2:
Lol, i can imagine the old man kneeling down begging, seriously is this what our country has been reduced too? Is this the only way young graduates can get jobs not by thier ability but by their old fathers and mothers going to kneel down and beg
good points peeps.
it has become very disappointing that young men and women from nigeria tend to rely on this "Ima mmadu system = to know big person system" to excel. nevertheless, i thank God that there are some of us that are fighting had to get it done the true way.
seanet02:
Knew it can only happen in IGBOLAND!!!!!!!!
just came back from vacation and everything remains Igbo! Igbo too much o!
francisj:
what is the faith of those graduates that don't have someone to go and beg for them ?
The father is right ,the son is an ungrateful son who benefited from PDP,forcing the old man to kneel
down and beg(an indication that the son cannot get a job on merit),  now he gat a job ,making some dough,
and want to challenge the hand that feed him.
If the son had gotten his job on merit,he might have gotten some respect from the father, i know a the
about the tradition of these people(NYSC in Benue state).
this son is indeed curse unless he go back and apologies to his father, infact, there will even b small sacrifice of goat or chicken depending
on the level of provocation of the old man
Akuko Mbe na Agu = Cock and Bull Stories
apologies for what? that a son has no right to choose where he wishes to be. my only advice to the son is to stand up and be a man and stop relying on his father's connections.

how many champions league has he won - 0

Osaz should grow up and stop twitting rubbish, he and his co-senior players should learn that there are many more talents in the pool waiting to have their chance to shoot to glory.

Ibime, Uniport is at your location you know.

IMHO, I think the verboseness of Goodluck and his wife cannot be attributed to Uniport, it is just a personal trait and territorial influence. Let's not hammer this on UNIQUE UNIPORT rather blame it on the incessant use of pidgin English in the Niger-Delta. Most of the people that grew up in the Niger-Delta has this problem of localizing the English language. This can be said to exist in other areas in Nigeria, East (Emeka of BlackBerry Babes), West (Jenifa of Jenifa) and the North (the entire crop of politians from the area).

Let it be known that the ability to speak fluently in English improves with geographical mobility; in the sense that the speaker tends to modify his/her communication suit the listener.

Finally, no be everybody wey go school been learn wetin them teach am.

PoliticsNigerians, Especially The Northern Part Are Blind People. by saintneo(op): 7:19am On Mar 19, 2011
The presidential debate yesterday showed that Buhari is clueless. In this generation, we require people that can creatively produce results and not to talk about glorious pasts - which were achieved by force. What is all the fuss about Sai Buhari! Sai Buhari! BB! BB! talk? I didn't see the effect at the debate.

If I were a northern Nigerian politician, I would go for Shekarau. His reasoning is logical and deductive. He has a creative mindset unlike Ribadu and Buhari that will rely on force. Even though the everyday Nigerian(75%) tends to listen to force than intelligence/wisdom, it is high time we moved into creative government and not forceful leadership.

We are not bulls, we are not donkeys, we are not slaves. Nigeria deserves the best. Let Shekarau square off with Jonathan, then let us see who the populace will vote.

PoliticsRe: Buhari's Manifesto That I Cherish Most: Please Read by saintneo(m): 12:16pm On Mar 13, 2011
How will people who are not of Igbo origin react? There is always a tendency of other tribe not feeling comfortable when Igbo people are working (not trading) in their governments. This issue was one of the reason why the pogroms occurred in the 60s and eventually led to civil war.

This is not going to be easy; however, if Buhari has a workable roadmap for this idea, I think it will resolve a lot of issues.
