A 7 year old girl identified as Zainab (above), was allegedly tortured to death by her step mother in Kaduna state. According to Hausa news page, Zuma Times, the woman had been torturing the young child for so long and she finally gave up the ghost. They didn't say anything about the girl's parents. 2-Note that none of the accused has responded to any of the allegations till date. It is broken into categories for clarity and ease of reference, here is a recap!
3-CATEGORY 1: BUDGET ALLEGATIONS 4-11
4-Speaker Dogara, Lasun, Doguwa and Ogar stole and distributed to themselves and few others 40 billion out of the 100billion allocated to the entire House
5-Speaker Dogara and the 3 others inserted about 20 billion naira of wasteful projects in the budget like the fraudulent 9 roads sandwiched into 4
6-Speaker Dogara tried to force me to admit over 30 billion naira of wasteful projects into the budget which I rejected and that cause serious crisis
7-Speaker Dogara tried to force me to use the name of NASS and insert another 20 billion worth of projects under the service wide votes which I rejected
8-Speaker Dogara and about 10 committee Chairs despite my protest inserted about 2000 projects worth 284 billion naira in the budget
9-Speaker Dogara diverted water project in the 2016 budget to his farm and PHCN reticulation free of charge
10-Speaker Dogara and the 3 others diverted to themselves the entire 20% inputs reserved for the entire House after the harmonization
11-Speaker Dogara frustrated the budget by directing the adoption of committee reports only to turn back later to approve harmonization
12-CATEGORY 2: ALLEGATION ON CORRUPT ACTIVITIES IN THE HOUSE BY SPEAKER DOGARA 13-18
13-Speaker Dogara has not distributed the internal budget of the House to any member. He operates the budget in secrecy and no member has a copy
14-Speaker Dogara has supervised the mismanagement of finances of the House through wasteful award of contracts on items already in members offices
15-Speaker Dogara introduced to members a fraudulent mortgage system in the House and proposed illegal deduction from members running costs
16-Speaker Dogara supervised the scandalous car purchase contract in the 7th Assembly where huge sums of money in bribe was alleged
17-Speaker Dogara was involved as Chairman House services in all cases of money laundering associated with the House since 2007
18-Speaker Dogara in a clear case of conflict of interest has used his office to facilitate loans from an MDA and arrange "private" meetings with MDA's

Cross River State's multi-billion naira garment factory is set to be commissioned shortly.

This brainchild of Gov Ayade is a Public Private Partnership that will see the British Govt provide financing to train workers, while an Italian fashion design Company, core investors, will provide technical expertise in order to turn the factory into a leading exporter of fashion garments.The factory will seek to target the lower end of the market - low prices and high turnover. Under the African Growth and Opportunities Act (AGOA), garments produced in Calabar can be marketed in America.

The factory already has a few contracts with the army, police, customs, immigration, prisons, Civil Defence, NYSC, and some schools.

When the advert was made public, over 6,000 applicants were received. It is expected that over 500 jobs will be created with widows and women given preference.

Many more of these employment generating, revenue increasing initiatives are needed across the nation.

According to Abubakar Aminu Ibrahim, a House of Representatives member, Hon. Ali Madaki representing Dala Constituency in Kano State allegedly ordered the arrest of Kamalu Salisu Jibril and Adamu Salisu Yalwa from Dala Local Government for criticizing him on Facebook.

Looks like the men were arraigned before a court because about an hour ago, Ibrahim posted some photos and wrote: 'At the court. They must be free"...

A visibly angry Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State visits Ndiagu Attakwu community in Akegbe Ugwu, Nkanu West Local Government Area of the state, where suspected Fulani herdsmen killed a catholic seminarian and injured 4 persons. The governor condemned the dastardly act in its entirety.
He vowed that those who pepertrated the heinous act will not go unpunished, adding his administration will not tolerate the wanton destruction of lives and property in the state by the herdsmen. The governor stormed the hersdmen settlement inside a thick forest apparently to express his displeasure over the heinous act, only to discover that the herdsmen had fled. The governor prayed for the repose of the seminarian and quick recovery of the survivors.

The Catholic Bishop of Enugu, Dr. C.V.C Onaga who visited the grief-stricken community, also condemned the attack and expressed sadness over the incident. He prayed for peace and unity of the country, calling for a permanent solution to the menace of the herdsmen in the country.

The governor has summoned an emergency meeting with the security agencies and Fulani community in the state today at the Government House, Enugu.

A woman on Thursday, August 4th, delivered a set of quadruplets, 3 boys and one girl, during the just concluded 64th Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God held at the Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State. It was the first time in the history of the convention that a woman would give birth to quadruplets.

In celebration of their birth, wife of the General Overseer, Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye has taken up full responsibility for the children. She has also provided a well-furnished two (2) bedroom flat in one of the estates on the Redemption Camp while plans are in place to secure a good job for the children’s father.

A total of 67 children were born same Thursday, 40 are boys while 27 are girls. Pastor Enoch Adeboye describe the birth as unique.

"For the first time in the history of our conventions and our maternity centre, a woman gave birth to four babies," he said.
