CelebritiesRe: Olajumoke Looking Like Beyonce With Her Entourage (Photo) by salt1: 4:37pm On Feb 25, 2016
Jonathan2787:
whos this olajumoke everywhere her name doesn't ring a bell and any where i see her thread i will see prayer comments like Jesus must locate me this year haba please can a kind brother or anty tell me how she became a celebrity overnight tnx in advance
Olajumoke is the newest sensation of rags to riches story.
She was selling bread when a producer's camera caught her in the background (photo-bomb)
The picture looked like it was planned; as if she was a model that many people started asking about her.
They located her and the rest is history: from bread seller to a super model with series of endorsements

Does this help a little? If not, use google. Even CNN has a story on Olajumoke the bread seller-turned model

Am more intersted in roads like Amasiri rd and onicha( the road that leads to his hometown) each time i ply through those roads i often feel sick. Gov Dave pls make haste.
Amasiri road is very good. When last were you there?
Julius Berger built that beautiful road from Uturu, Okigwe to Afikpo.
I don't know about the Onicha side, though

Jus negodu the type of stories we hear in Nigeria
Very irritating, I tell you
the Commissioner's warning that they desist from such act is even more annoying

Those who talk to Umahi should tell him to leave developing Ai alone and face his Ohaozara area and Afikpo.
Abakaliki people won't even thank him after all his effort.
He should learn from GEJ: he faced the North and left his support base: SS and SE. What did he get for that? Bayelsa has little to show for having their son as President for 6years
BusinessRe: Brief History Of The Fall Of The Nigerian Naira by salt1: 5:29pm On Feb 16, 2016
LordAdam:
I don't suppose I am infallible or that I have the magic solution or my solution is superior to the solution proposed by others. With that said, in my humble opinion, I think we have to start with adopting true federalism.

It will not magically erase our problems but it would put us on the right course to enact the much-needed reforms with very little resistance from the entrenched regional and ethnic interests.

Changing the ideology of the people is a different kettle of fish. It is either we have a stern figure/leader of the likes of Mao and Lee Yuan to build strong institutions and coerce people to conform, or the government engage leaders in different spheres to help chart and enforce a long-term multi-faceted course or plan.

Irrespective of the route we take in this case, the fact is that a figure with authority has to be at the forefront. Else, the people will not let it succeed. People are quick to point out problems but slow to adopt solutions especially when change is required. Values like transparency, accountability, sound communication are foreign to the Nigerian culture. For example the way a Nigerian health worker communicates a patient is different from the way Western health workers do. This is despite the fact that the Nigerian health worker trains using texts from the western health care system.

In any case, any such change will be a slow, painstaking process spanning two or more decades judging by the rate of change in countries like UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Brazil, India, Phillipines... I seriously doubt Nigerians have the patience and can muster the resolve to surmount the challenges that would inevitably arise.

-Lord
I agree on the need for true federalism. I think it will eject a healthy competitive spirit.
I was thinking that when oil goes completely burst, then those who are benefiting from the present system might change their minds

Imo people did not vote for him,he rigged himself in.
I heard that is what is annoying the man. He had imagined that they loved him and would gladly give him a second chance but when the feelers came and he saw he was losing, he rigged himself back.
Now he hates anybody chanting "my governor my governor" around him. He wants to desperately recover his election expenses. Sacked 3000 workers this year. Hasn't paid some pensioners for a year plus and reduced others salary by 70%

So they have not gotten to you.
Dont worry be expecting them

Honestly I am not out to undermine your effort at helping people make a better soap, but you dont need to destroy other products to build your own. There is no doubt you know your onion and you are well versed in it. But desist from calling other product name. Also making millions is not a day job and you must tell your students about competition and how to overcome it, not only sweet things. I know you have face a lot of challenges in the business, let them know those ones too not good good and good alone.

I am sincerely sorry if I hurt you in any way, let forget the past in the spirit of the season and Happy new year in advance

Lest i forget I will order my own ebook after the yuletide,

Op. U 4got to mention that #Angeegift dint mk the top 5 yet dy were awarded the winner. N dt she also works for d pageant (a staf) / make up artiste. Evenif the team #RubyRee that were meant to win lost to any of the other 4teams amongst d top 5, i wd say perhaps another criteria was used as against the voting where #RubyRee got abt 3000 votes as against 300 of #Angeegift. www.stv.ojoro.com
I was just wondering what the criteria were because the others actually look prettier to me.
Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder

"Follow Your Passion" (aka FYP) is such a terrible piece of advice.
Do you think progress in life is linear? The truth is one can never know what one is born to accomplish.
Am always wary of any individual who subscribes to that erroneous FYP's school of thought.
You don't FYP but you develop passion for whatever you find yourself doing. And that way the sky becomes your stepping stone.
One million likes for this your contribution! Very misleading advice!
Many young boys drop out of school because they have a passion for football and are all dreaming of becoming Messi. They have neither the skill nor the stamina but they believe in achieving anything with passion. By the time they wake up, their mates are already engineers, doctors etc. And shame won't let them write JAMB.
Whatever happened to old-fashioned hardwork? Why must it be passion?

This thread de sweet me die, imagine a tribe that fought civil war bragging with d pple dat nva fought a single war,, kai!!!! Igbo badoooo!!!! Hardwork pays my bro; we rise from our fall and remain strong!!! We will forever proper!!!
Thanks for this observation. Is it not amazing that the four Igbo states: Anambra, Enugu, Imo and Abia that came back after the Civil war to meet the rubble that was their territory, hunger, poverty, abandoned property etc are all way better than the national average? And those who didn't experience any such set-back are glorying that they are slightly better than Anambra?

Instead of weeping over this assessment, I think the Igbos should take it as a tribute to their enterprise and industry. Who knows? In 5years time, they could be the first five nationwide
