Politics › Re: US Resumes Training Of Nigerian Troops For Anti-terror War by sam90s(m): 1:05am On Feb 13, 2016 |
Obatala7Kronos: They refused sharing intelligence with the Nigerian Army because just like in the case of ISIS, U.S is Boko Haram & Boko Haram is U.S.
Its activities are being coordinated from the US Secret Military base in Chad. Now that Boko Haram has been technically defeated, they're resuming their useless training of our troops anti-terror war.
Just like how they're now calling for “cease fire” in Syria after their moderate liver-eating vampires have all been annihilated by the Russian Death Machines.
Guess what my son (Vladimirovich Putin) told them? He said “cessation of hostilities” will start by 1st of March, 2016.
You know Y? By March 1st, the only thing that will be left of all the western backed terrorists (i.e ISIS & the rest) will be their burnt corpses & rifles.
If America and her allies are not obliterated off the face of earth by the Russian Topol-M, then I'm sorry, the world will continue to wallow in proxy terrorist wars, anarchy, hunger, poverty, genetically manufactured diseases & death. Do you also believe in UFO my child? |

GboyegaD: Have you thought of the things the nanny listed were done to her? She claimed she wasn't allowed to bath with hot water when we all know the faucets brings out hot or cold water depending on which one you open. She claimed she isn't allowed to add milk in her tea when we all know milk is one of the requires items CPS requires every household that have kids should have in their fridge. This means there is always milk at home in abundance. She claims she works 20hours daily and I am wondering what household chores can one do for 20 hours daily. There is a washer and dryer at home, most likely there's a vacuum cleaner etc. Her story to me doesn't add up. A good looking male with a good financial/economic/social status is being accused of rape, his lawyers won't stand a chance if their only argument is that their client is handsome, rich and polished enough to bed any female he desires. They better start answering real questions, some of the accusations here are huge, withholding her travel documents, underpaying or not paying her at all, if false, they will need to prove it, bank transfer, employment contract that shows her job description........we both know it's costly to hire babysitters in Europe and America, much less carerer for five children, $100? Oh! common. |
Crime › Re: The Nigerian Couple That Turned Nanny To Slave In Houston Texas (Photos) by sam90s(m): 10:12am On Feb 11, 2016 |
GboyegaD: The story doesn't add up as there's no household chores that will take that long daily no matter how large that family is. You're missing the point here, let's call it malicious tasking, which could mean making you work nonstop by duplicating tasks, the reason and effect is psychological, when a staff get comfortable, he/she will most likely begin to be aware of their environment and may question procedure, and dont give them the satisfaction of thinking they have completed a task, believe me its mean but it's effective. Also leave little or no room for employees to interact, result of investigation some Wal-Mart stores exposed similar tactics. And don't forget her $100 monthly pay that was (inadequate and yet) withheld. They are in some deep trouble, and that's just criminal liabilty, civil will mostlikely follow too, though I'm not even sure if there's an insurance somewhere for that. No justification for exploiting a fellow human being my friend, no matter how desperate they may be. |

I like and admire cases like this, it restore ones' confidence in the system, but when compared to cases I mentioned earlier, it makes one suspicious there are ulterior motives behind the arrest, you know what I mean. |

I used 'apparently' for a reason, wasn't sure if I missed something, I never knowingly miss an opportunity to learn, hence my curiousity, i wasnt questioning your command of English Language. blackberlin: Some people here are asking why the V.P isn't hosting the German President, well. . . First of all, Germany has a thing for Lagos. . . Since Fashola introduced the BRT and made some major reforms, they've been lusting after the city of Lagos like there's no tomorrow. Call it targeted politics... 2nd reason is that Germany practices a parliamentary system of Government, which means the President is more of a ceremonial figure while the Chancellor (Mama Merkel) is the trojan horse. . . which explains why Angela Merkel was recently with Jonathan and not the other way round. . . Apparently, you misused the term 'trojan horse' here. |

Joavid: movies are not just for entertainment, especially for me. I was able to compile some with a little help from google of course.
1. "Sometimes it is the people who no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine." The Imitation Game.
2. "Just because someone stumbles and loses their path, doesn't mean they're lost forever." X-Men Days of Future Past.
3. "Most people live life on the path we set for them. Too afraid to explore any other. But once in a while people like you come along and knock down all the obstacles we put in your way. People who realize free will is a gift that you'll never know how to use until you fight for it." The Adjustment Bureau.
4. "Our lives are not fully lived if we're not willing to die for those we love, for what we believe." Selma.
5. "Courage is a hard thing to figure. You can have courage based on a dumb idea or mistake, but you're not supposed to question adults, or your coach, or your teacher, because they make the rules. Maybe they know best, but maybe they don't. It all depends on who you are, where you come from." The Blind Side.
6. "My mind rebels at stagnation. Give me problems, give me work. The sooner the better." Sherlock Holmes.
7. "What is the most resilient parasite? Bacteria? A virus? An intestinal worm? An idea. Resilient...highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it's almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed--fully understood--that sticks." Inception.
8. "The main thing is: Pay attention, pay attention to everything, everything you see. Notice what no one else notices, and you'll see what no one else knows. What you get is what you get, what you do with what you get, that's more the point." City of Ember.
9. Do, or do not. There is no “try”. – Yoda, from Star Wars. It is not our abilities that show what we truly are it is our choices. – Dumbledore, from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
10. “Great men are not born great, they grow great.” – Mario Puzo, from The Godfather
11. “The loudest one in the room is the weakest one in the room." - Frank Lucas in American Gangster
12. "Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life, but it ain’t how hard you can hit. It’s how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. it’s how much you can take, and keep moving forward. that’s how winning’s done. - Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone)
add yours A thief offers to fix your (broken) entrance door free, and you're not in the least suspicious. - "Saworoide". You wouldn't give a crazy person liberty to do as they wish the corpse of their family member, cos its theirs, there's a risk that they might just decide to roast and eat it. - "Agogo-Eewo" Cop: (Stopping Hurricane and a partner riding with him in a white sedan) We are looking for two negros in a white car (claimed to have shot a victim) Hurricane Carter: Any two will do? Elizabeth Keckley: What my people are to be, I can't say. Negroes have been fighting and dying for freedom since the first of us was a slave. I never heard any ask what freedom will bring. Freedom's first - Lincoln. Thaddeus Stevens:This is the face if someone who has faught long and hard for the good of the people without caring much for any of them....... - Lincoln. |

dechriscool: TSA was birth by Gej.This was a structural innovation to fight corruption.By extension subsequent administration will benefit from it.This is the sure way to fight corruption by creating strong institutions and structures and not vendettas, fighting political enemies through media corruption crusade.Ippis comes to mind. The numbers of ghost workers had reduced in federal parastatals thus saving more for the country.Gej administration were still studying the cons and pros of TSA.Bubu came on board and hijack it.Gej is meticulous in whatever he is doing thus can't implement TSA without a proper study of the process. So Baba zip it,we are yet to see your own innovations.Stop your tyrant and do the needfull. grandstar: That is Nigeria's largest white elephant!
The plant is a very unproductive plant compared to the super modern ones today.
Also there is a massive glut of steel inn the world market from China.
China has an excess capacity of over 250m tons. These has led to the dumping of steel and the EU and America have been forced to impose anti-dumping duties on chinese steel.
Its far cheaper to import than to make steel locally. Making steel here will put local users at a competitive disadvantage due to very steep prices.
Govt should do the needful. They should dynamite the place and ring it for miles with mines and lease the place out to ISIS Your well thought out and insightful comment is appreciated. |
