That's sarcasm I guess, cos I don't why he should help you run your country, last time I checked he's from UK and that's where his allegiance lies, if I were your elites, I suggest you put your country's interest first. So whatever sense he will put in their head will be for the benefit of mother Britain |

koxyz: They go outside, they excel but within their own country they are helpless. Something must be wrong with Nigeria. What's wrong is clear, we both know, when you manage a factory you don't pocket money meant for equipment upgrade and maintenance, staff salary, raw materials and so on, if you are destined to steal, limit it to the secondary stage, like getting your friends the contract to supply tools and pocket your share (which I equally disaprove, but you'll record far less damage), As I was saying, when you drain the factory dry and it's barely running, your best employee will find work in other factory, braindrain, 'shikena'! |

Soon now, nollywood go use Pete Edochie act Capt. Jack Sparrow for dem own Pirates of Oniru... If you attack and rob ship at sea, you get to be called a pirate, off the coast of PH, Somalia or Florida, it doesn't matter, armed with rusty AK-47s and local charms or gleaming M16 and boat mounted machine guns, it doesn't matter either, the name is still pirate, I agree it's not 'cool', stealing a tuber of yam in the market with a knife, and a well cordinated assault on a bank with automatic weapon are both armed robbery. |

Hanendez: Though tears didn't stream down my cheeks, but I was pained on the inside. How can someone from a third world country like Nigeria, which has most of its citizenry living on one dollar per day, expend one million naira on a pair of gold encrusted and plaited snickers? The height of bovine improvidence and dissipation you would say.Tuface who comes from one of the most impoverished state in Nigeria,Benue state, couldn't as much as take into account the fact that his state is ranked the state with the highest rate of hiv and aids in nigeria. He didn't take into account the unenviable fact that benue is the least most industrially undeveloped in ratings. All of these stats is a gritty pointer of the ravaging and grinding poverty in his home, yet in his crass egotistical brazenness,he posed with these shows which can pay for the Waec and jamb forms of at least 200 pupils. These shoes carry the financial clout of providing medications to cottage hospitals. Its outrageous and preposterous that this man who many see as role model would put up a fashion faux pas as this. What if he didn't pay for it, celebrities do get a lot of freebies. |

We can simply follow the American model where as the commander in chief, the US president is assigned a Marine who pack his luggage and run simple errand (military culture), and nothing else, the party or the first family is responsible for extra stuffs. I really dont appreciate officers carrying out such duties, they have a strict culture of discipline. I remember my dad's new posting to Jericho skaters in Ibadan very long time ago during the military are, his office ensures uniform men supply his accommodation with kegs (25ltrs). When we visit on holidays and began using much more water, both our parent ask the container be left downstairs so we lift it up 4 flight of stairs, and as soon as my older brother learned how to drive, we get to do the job. That should be the first lady's security not her maid. tearoses: Yes why not on the floor? If you go to an event badly dressed then that's your fault Besides she could have put it to one side
An ADC's job is to protect I grew up in an Army environment so know what I am saying What is the ADC protecting? The handbag? Couldn't madam have left the handbag in the car? Doesn't madam have a PA Do you know how much training that ADC would have undergone only to end up carrying a handbag? Gone are the days when uniform meant respect
You see them in markets too carrying madams handbags Its a big shame. Their bosses should be doing something about it. But how can they when most of these top jobs are political appointments. |

When you invite them back, ensure it's only you and others with a screwed up perspective like yours that will bend over backwards in that plantation, freedom is indeed in the mind, Mandela was imprisoned for 27yrs physically but his mind remained free, but you are yearning to be imprisoned, what a shame. Acidosis: Moral corruption is about to kill this country. We lack work ethics, moral values and human values in this part of the world.
Its not about the "Nigerian Police" as most people want us to believe. Some private Security firm workers actually take more bribe than NPF. Our Banks, Private organisations are cases in points. Its only in Nigeria we see security men beg people for money. Its a common practice and we shouldn't institutionalize it. Instead, we need to address the CURSE upon UNIFORM MEN/WOMEN, including those standing at ATM joints, fast food, event centres, banks, etc.
The other day, a well dressed NPF guy was seeing driving a Niger Delta Rastafarian-Charlatan called TIMAYA.
Are we going to say the NPF guy is poorly paid? Is the problem about minimum wage? NOPE!
The higher we are paid as a people, the dumber we become! Just imagine the yeast-like swollen puff-puff called Timaya acting like the world must revolve around him ALL because of SMALL CHANGE.
We need to invite the slave masters all over again! The previous attempt is not enough. |
