Am saying exactly what is stated in the requirements by the embassy and u are saying am giving wrong information. You did something and it worked for u doesn’t mean it may work for others. Its beta to do the right thing, so you have peace of mind.

I wonder how some people reason in this platform. You are so MYOPIC

Can we try and be a little bit civil. You can make your point without insulting people. We are graduates for Christ sake (at least Secondary sch graduate if not University grin), we should try and relate with others as one.

Talking generally now and not about WAEC certificate alone, what about someone like me who went to the embassy with online TOEFL result cos I've not yet received the hard copy of TOEL result from ets. What about online admission letters and other documents?
For example, TUM gives only online admission letter.

The point is... printing online result or certificate doesn't make it less of original. The difference is you received one as soft copy and you received the other as hard copy. Besides, we always go to interviews with result checker scratch card for results verification, that is enough to prove the authenticity of any WAEC result be it online or hard copy.

And if anyone thinks there is any doubt in his/her mind concerning online printouts, pls kindly go with hard copies. If you receive your admission letter via email and you've not received the hard copy, you can aswell cancel your interview to wait for hard copy admission letter. If your WAEC result is not ready too, pls delay your visa interview until it's ready. And if you got admitted to schools like TUM that gives only online admission letter, pls don't go for visa interview because you don't have "original" admission letter with you.

You can also insult me, I don't care.

To those that have submitted their passport and travel insurance and are yet to receive it back, I advise you to visit the office of the courier company you used, the Embassy has sent my package to them( FedEx) and they kept my Visa and original documents in their office, so i had to go there today with my receipt and collect my package.

What information did you see when u try tracking it. And how long after you sent your passport did you go to FedEx

Thank u so much, have been following this page a long time and getting a lot of helpful info as well, although no one talks abt whether they served or not and how they got there degree certificate. I'll try the transcript advice although finding an office that will help will be difficult, thanks again, very helpful

You don't need degree certificate either, statement of result will do if that's what your school has to offer for now

Interview, i was mistakenly given wrong address but eventually was given another appointment so:

23 days later (3wks later) AM landed

My God is good!

Congratulations. When did u do interview and when did u receive AM?

The reason they didn't ask you to forward insurance, I guess daad will be responsible for it.

I know of a daad schoolar that they held his passport after interview and they just sent him email to come pick up his passport with visa

Passau University, Anhalt University, bamberg University, Beuth University, University of Bremen, city University and many odas accept up to 2.7 GPA. You just have to search. Make Google your best Girlfriend. When I was applying, I practically searched for all the Universities in Germany. I checked more than 30 University website all cus my GPA wasn’t good enough. Right now I know all Universities in Germany, it’s now asif have been there b4 grin...I applied to more than 10 schools. Both tru uni-assist and tru normal Applications. I got rejections from almost 10 Universities. It was very frustrating. I decided to apply to UK schools to see if my village people are really hunting me. I got about 3 admissions in Uk and also in Austria. I wanted to use them as my backup plan Incase Germany no gree gv me admission. To my utmost surprise I later got admission into two different schools. So my point is don’t give up, no matter how poor ur BSc result dy.

Congrats bro, what was your CGPA in German grade, I have a friend who go admitted with CGPA of 3.0

It should be more, 8640 is the basic sum, bank charges applies. Fintiba's total sum is 8829, but I don't know the exact sum for deutsche bank

Good morning house, has anyone here been interviewed on bsc program? I want to know if they all have the same pattern? Also anyone have had the experience of rewriting motivation letter during the interview. I urgently await your responses my lovely people. Danke

Yes! I did rewrote motivation letter during my interview. It was more like I duplicated. I went with 1 handwritten copy and 2 photocopies, but the VO said its 2 handwritten copies that I should have brought, so she gave me paper and asked that I should duplicate the letter after the interview.

There are no hard and fast rules to the first school leaving and waec/ neco documents. If you are going for MSc and don't have 1st school leaving cert or even WAEC scratch card, don't worry yourself. The VO said it's mainly emphasised for someone going for BSc or does not have an undergraduate degree from Nigeria, because it is assumed your Secondary school admitted you because you finished primary school and your undergraduate uni should have confiirmed your waec result. However, whenever they have doubts or inconsistencies, that's when they also verify, hence the necessity to still attached the waec scratch card for MSc. Cyber cafe print out of the waec result checker is also accepted.

Neco is very much accepted too if that's what you have, then of course, you'll also go with neco scratch card not waec.
Also as said before, to be on the safest side, go with 3 handwritten motivation letters and staple 2 passports to the two visa application form (though the VO would do this if you didn't do it already), and hold one extra copy loose.

No point sharing transcript, we've had enough already. So I felt like sharing other useful tips from my yesterday's experience and the answers given to me first hand. Do yourself the good of revising all the questions from other people's transcript. Don't be afraid to say that you intend to get few years work experience after your MSc like I was before the VO himself ask me, "won't you like to get experience?" Of course my answer was yes, though I kept the no of years short, then he typed it in too.

Finally, think outside the box when giving facts about Germany, they are tired of hearing the same facts over and over again. The guy who interviewed me was impressed and gave me kudos for giving him some new important facts, even though some were obvious.

Thanks to all the regular commenters on this thread, you all are doing a great job. And to the silent followers like myself, keep it up o, but don't fail to assist when you can. Time to go back to ghost mode. Tschüs

I had my interview on 10th too, were you the guy that came a little bit late?
