just register for paypal and link ur debit card.. Your money is safe with paypal.. no hidden charges if that's what you worried about..

@op did you go to the chinese embassy in person to apply? Hong Kong visa is now processed by the Chinese embassy, below is the information from chinese embassy

Recently, Some local agents have claimed that they could provide paid services on Chinese visa application. The Embassy and Consulate of China in Nigeria declares on their website as follows:

1. According to relevant Chinese regulations, all Nigerian visa applicants must come to the Embassy or Consulate in person for interview and other procedures of Chinese visa application.
2. The Chinese Embassy or Consulate has never authorized any unit, organization or person as agent for Chinese visa application.
3. The Chinese Embassy or Consulate do not charge extra fees for the visa application, except for the stipulated ones (Please refer to the Visa Fee webpage) based on relevant Chinese regulations.

so saying that an agent processed it for you means you have to be really careful and just like justwise said Hong Kong visa is not a schengen visa and you can ask your cousin in Hong Kong to check the authencity of your visa at Hong Kong Immigration office, hope this helps

ironbender101: I applied for a HK visa since May 2013 and just yesterday the lady that processed my visa called me and told me ma visa is out. I have a very strong doubt as its my first time of applying for a visa and also ma passport is a virgin passport. I had issues with my agent because I thought she was a fraud when she collected 40k from me and after some months, I angrily requested for my passport and forgot everything about the HK trip totally. Now my fried in the states told me that HK visa is shengen visa and that the fake is so much here in Nigeria that I should try and verify. He also said the only way to verify is when I get to HK. So it wil be very difficult to issue visa to d person. My cousin is 26yrs so I had to suspend the Dubai processing visa for now. house i got this information today from etihad office after hearing about the new immigration law yesterday from the thread, i was told that the age limit has been reduced to 28yrs so if you are 28yrs and above you can get your visa, but if you are below 28yrs and you've traveled to the UAE before then you should attach a scan copy of your entry and departure date on your visa to your application( i guess your stamped date of arrival into the UAE and the departure date from the UAE on your passport), it could still be speculations but i got the info first hand from etihads today

Customer line will be suspended/ tossed for 3 months and then ceased as per Etisalat current policy which is 3 months before Etisalat will be able to resell the number to any customer
