i have this ghanian who has been making puf-puf for the past 20 years somewhere around my area, i asked why he was still in nigeria when their economy was blossoming? He said massa (master) nigeria is good for business and enjoyment, not ghana, ghanians are too slow. i dey enjoy the gut puf-puf anyway. Why are nairalanders giving these naija haters attention. There isnt really much risk involved in setting up a hotspot especially with mikrotik as it uses the linux kernel distribution (very stable, secure and got options of load balancing and failover). I have worked with Freebsd distributions like pfsense and coova AP, i come to find mikrotik most reliable, though with little documentation for freshers. The forum is the busiest there is and a lot of experieced guys here in nigeria and abroad. If security is a major concern you might set up a radius server with windows server 2008 or linux.

Obviously u havent been able to clearly state ur challenges. I assume u can see both printer but u cant get to print across LAN, i cant explain what that means. Try using a static ip on ur lan to ease your configuration and to avoid running into ip conflict. From experience a print server would have solved the normal headaches associtaed with LAN printing. Give it a thought as a last option

@poster u cannot use ur naira denominated atm card on foreign merchant sites. If u need to make purchase on ebay, amazon or such, open a dollar denominated visa/matercard with GTB, UBA etc
