Like somebody said on the forum these monies are mere fiber notes printed by the federal reserve. The true worth of the us dollar is the gold and silver in its reserve. Ironically, there is more money in circulation than the us economy can bear. Ultimately, it is the hapless citizens that bear the brunt in the form of undisclosed bank charges.

Laughable... It's impossible... Even the well trained and funded Syrian rebels + al nusra(a more sophisticated al-qaeda affiliated Islamist group) had Turkish pilots with them when they were trying to capture Syrian military air bases.

Flying a military aircraft isn't a joke.

Neither is flying a military aircraft a miracle.

Terrorism as it sounds is not cheap, a lot goes into its planning and execution. A lot of absurd commitments in the name of religion are made. In 2011, a 39 year old arab-american US army major, Nidal Malik Hasan, went on shooting spree right under the nose of the US army authority in fort hood, killing at least 13 fellow soldiers. Some weeks b4 the incident there had been warnings from his mates that he had been exhibiting certain tendencies that indicated he was showing tendencies to support arab war against the american invasion in afghanistan. After the incident, investigations revealed he had long been having secret conversations with leaders of Al-qaeda without the knowledge of the all powerful, FBI, CIA, NSA bla bla bla. This enraged the american public. My point is terrorism that take any shape, it involves brilliant and knowledgeable people than you and i.

Let me tell you something.the problem with Nigeria security agencies is that they believe in their arms;thinking it will solve the problem.what they need to know is how these guys get their arms supply.

Before the leader of boko haram was killed, they weren't sophisticated as this.after his death, alqaeda in the maghreb gave them funds, arms and moral support couple with local sympathisers then you got an unstoppable killer squad on rampage.what the security needs to do is penetrate and infiltrate these guys.proactive not reactive !

FYI, just as the SSS are infiltrating the ranks of boko haram, so are the latter also suceeding in getting inside support from within the ranks of security operatives. Have in mind that the BH have supports from highly placed individuals in the north so also the ordinary man in the street. This has made defeating this group a difficult task.

Where in the world do terrorists call for a full blown confrontation with a well armed govt army. Every terrorist's main motive is to cause utmost pain and wreck havoc on UN-harmed citizens in order to discredit the ruling govt.

It's a fat lie,you don't need anybody to tell you that.the little arms they have in their arsenal came from Ghadaffi's loot and Nigeria Army armoury during raids.

I guess this is what u call small arms.

With the so-called small arsenal they got from Libya, they certainly can overrun aiforce base in the north and subsequently conduct aerial suicide attacks. I hope 9/11 is still fresh in memory.

The entire north and its borders with other countries should be under lock-down by now. Economic implication or not. I thought the various Nigeria security apparatus are now getting more from security votes. I wonder why they can't deploy the best techs. Jonathan better put the north under padlock and key.

Where are those clamoring for state police. Give those selfish, self-centered governors the right to own their police, the country will get more than this.

Leebeedo: Nigeria is doomed! I live and work in Lafia and I want to give u guys a full gist of what really happened.
Everything boils down to 2015 gubernatorial race. The Egon people said they are tired of been ruled by foreigners (i.e migrants from Maiduguri) which the current governor Umaru Tanko Almakura and the emir of Lafia are and so they’ve started preparing for 2015 elections. The militia group actually recruited youths but they never did it forcefully, Egon youths voluntarily enlisted themselves because we never heard of such occurrence @ the church (Egons are predominantly Christians, say 98%). Sometimes, we see the militia group matching around Lafia peacefully with their black uniform not disturbing anyone or causing mayhem and even sometimes, we see their leader drive around his SUV robed with all sort of charms and we laughed.
The governor got scared because of the growing strength of the militia and even attacked them severally through Fulani herdsmen, they even killed a Fulani herdsman close to my house early this year.
The governor’s second shot was through the emir. He invited the chief priest to his palace and tried to charm him but the chief priest defeated him and it was even rumoured that the emir was dead that period. (RUMOUR)
Discovering that he couldn’t succeed with his Fulani herdsmen and the emir strategy, he decided to use the police, SSS and civil defence guys through the commissioner of police, one stupid Yoruba man that doesn’t know his job and really good at driving around Lafia with his dead BMW disturbing with siren sound. The commissioner fell for it and he sent his boys to arrest the chief priest of the militia. They claim to have gone there peacefully to arrest him, but ask why they went with machine guns. The killed some of the militia guys but the militia wiped them all, just about 6 of them escaped. I don’t think the militia group used guns because I went to the hospital where they deposited their remains (Dalahatu Specialist Hospital at Shendam road) and I saw deep cutlass cuts on them and I also saw stuffs like blue powder on them, they were burnt and were over 100 in number. Immediately this happened, the governor ran to Abuja and later ran to kano probably to meet with the emir. The commissioner cried all through but many don’t know why he cried. It’s because he’s to retire in 2 months’ time but now will likely face dismissal.
The candidate egons want to put forward is Solomon Ewugha (not sure of the spelling)

Bros, bravo 4 the insight. Its a pity hundreds of public servants have been wiped out. The governor and commisioner of police must be held accountable. SMH

Maybe you could work on that. What if the next girl jilts u 4 de same reason. Just guessing, there are in-inadequacies she finds in u.

temiosunrinde: Its so pathetic and highly lugubrious that during this critical time in the history of our nation, where boko haram keeps bombing day in day out, where capitalist form of govt of the shoeless one is leading the nation to a disaster, where the unity and peace of our nation is being threathened everytime, some group of nairand youth who are suppose to take to the street in protest and call for the resignation of the shoeless and clueless one are here sitting at a computer or bb or whatever talking about LOVE,ohhh I weep for my country

ROTFLMA. You can take to the street in protest,we will join u when boko haram give their life to christ. Very funny guy.

rabosh: That picture of him laying on that dirty, torn and rusty contraption is very disheartening and disturbing. This is meant to be inside a specialist hospital ? God help Nigeria. This amplifies why patriotism has gone to the winds in Nigeria. Should a man of his stature and contribution to our sports be accorded such treatment? (no pun intended) To think he was even wearing our national colours. Why must we celebrate the dead? It's time we start honouring our living heroes.
What a loss!

Bros, welcome to nigeria. The country that never runs out of suprise and amazement. RIP Jossy Lad

slim fit :
To create jobs you have to think about the elite. Poor people don't create jobs. Lagos is very complex thousands come in every day. Lagos can only develop when other states start to develop and create jobs for their people. Lagos is carrying a lot burdens for this country.

This part of your quote i really can't understand. Texas was developed by peasants. New york continues to attract millions year in year out, i dont hear the mayor complaining. FYI, lagos IGR continues to outpace other states, not becos the rich in lagos pay their tax, a large portion of tax remittance is contributed by the poor that labor day in day out and mid income earners.
