Kogi Guber, Primary School Forgery, Supreme Court Rules In Favour Of Engr Musa Wada The Supreme Court has taken final decision on appeals the final man panel driven power from Section 31 Subsection 5 of the Supreme Court noted that Section 285, Subsection 9, 10 has already dealt with the situation. He is to file the action within 14 days from the date of the publication, therefore the Supreme Court threw out the case. The Supreme Court stated that the action seeking to disqualify Engr. Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party who is eminently qualified for any office in the land is status barred and out of time. The Supreme Court also faulted the Lokoja High Court ruling and therefore ruled that the judgement is null and void. The case was initiated out of time and therefore, the judgement of the Lokoja High Court is out of time. The five man panel of the Supreme Court stormed out of the Court after delivering the judgement. A Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja, Kogi State, has ruled that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the last November 16, 2019 general election, Musa Wada, forged his primary school certificate. Holding that the candidate lied on oath while submitting his Form CF001 to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the election, the court disqualified him. By the ruling, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) did not participate or have a qualified candidate for the November 16 election in Kogi. The suit filed by Femi Peter, a lawyer and citizen of Kogi, prayed among others for an order disqualifying the PDP candidate from contesting the election because he presented false information to INEC in support of his candidacy. |

A local lawmaker in Akwa Ibom state, South-South Nigeria, has been remanded in prison for allegedly assaulting a woman and stripping her naked. The accused, Uduak Nseobot, is a councillor in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. Mr Nseobot was charged to court by the Akwa Ibom State Government for allegedly kidnapping, assaulting, and publicly stripping the woman, Iniubong Essien, whom he had accused of stealing some naira notes. Mr Nseobot said the money was “sprayed” on them at their wedding — a common practice at Nigerian festivities. He was initially charged alongside his wife, Aniedi, who lives in the U.S. But the charges against the wife was dropped by the prosecution to enable them build a smooth case against the defendant. Justice Archibong Archibong of a state high court in Uyo on Thursday dismissed the preliminary objections filed by the defendant through his lawyer, Mfon Ben. The judge ordered that Mr Nseobot be remanded in prison, after the councillor pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. The case has been adjourned to November 27 for the court to hear the defendant’s bail application. The victim, Ms Essien, who said she has been a close friend to the councillor’s wife for about 10 years, denied stealing their money. She told PREMIUM TIMES that she assisted the Nseobots in cooking and serving food to their wedding guests and that she was not even the person who helped the couple to pick money donated to them at the wedding. The councillor and his wife, supported by their friends, were said to have abducted Ms Essien from her home in Uyo in the morning, around November last year, and drove her to a village in Ibiono, about 27 kilometres away. She was then taken to a village hall around 10 a.m. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/362863-lawmaker-remanded-in-prison-for-allegedly-beating-woman-forcing-her-to-walk-naked.html |
I8The Federal High Court, Yenagoa, on Thursday declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) does not have a governorship candidate in the forthcoming election in Bayelsa State. This development is coming two days to the election. The court was presided over by Justice Jane Inyang. The court declaration, on Thursday, was part of its judgement in a case filed by Heineken Lokpobiri, one of the APC governorship aspirants. Mr Lokpobiri, a former minister of state for agriculture, had approached the court, asking it to declare him, and not David Lyon, the authentic candidate of the APC. “The court pronounced that the governorship primary conducted by the APC in Bayelsa state was not done in compliance with the guidelines and the constitution of the party, and, therefore, the party has no candidate,” Mr Lokpobiri’s lawyer, Fitzgerald Olorogun, told reporters immediately after the court ruling. A shocked Mr Olorogun said the court declaration was not part of their prayers. “It’s strange,” he said. Asked what was the next option for his client, Mr Olorogun said “We’ll do the needful. But for now, the pronouncement of the court is that APC has no candidate.” There was heavy police presence within and outside the court premises. The main highway way leading to the court was barricaded by the police. Visitors, including journalists, were frisked before they were allowed to enter the court building. Mr Lokpobiri, before now, has been urging the people of Bayelsa to vote for the APC in the November 16 election, despite his court case against Mr Lyon and the party. “I’m a very strong member of APC and I came today to formally tell our chairman and to speak to Nigerians, in particular, the electorate in Bayelsa that all of them should vote for APC regardless of what happens in the court case in which judgment is slated for Nov. 14, 2019,” the former minister said in Abuja after a courtesy visit on the national chairman of APC, Adams Oshiomhole. “I told my supporters even before I came here that no matter what happened, I will remain in APC having served as a minister under this administration. “There is no way the outcome of the governorship primaries will make me leave APC. We are working and campaigning at different levels. “I always advise that anybody that is grieved, the only place to go is the court. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/362829-just-in-apc-has-no-governorship-candidate-in-bayelsa-court-declares.html |
The Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal has dismissed the petition filed by the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate in the 2019 general election, Biokpomabo Awara, against the Independent National Electoral Commission, Governor Nyesom Wike and the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP). The Tribunal presided over by Justice K. A. Orjiako dismissed the petition on the ground that it was deemed abandoned on the ground of Paragraph 4 of the First Schedule of the Electoral Act. According to the Tribunal, the petition was deemed to be technically abandoned because the AAC and its candidate failed to meet key procedural requirements as to applying for pre-hearing information. The three-man panel led by Justice K. A Ojiako declared that petition number EPT/RS/GOV/03/2019 was incompetent and therefore, dismissed it. Earlier, the tribunal struck out applications by the AAC governorship candidate, seeking that he be separated from all joint applications previously made with the party. The AAC had recently adopted Mr Henry Bello to represent it at the tribunal after the former counsel, Tawo Tawo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria withdrew from the matter, with a notice of change of counsel filed the tribunal. This application came in after the AAC brought in another counsel to handle its matter at the tribunal. The three-man panel led by Justice K. A Ojiako, after going through arguments in the Awara, AAC suit against Wike ruled that all applications filed by the 1st Petitioner (Tawo Tawo, former AAC counsel) are struck out. Ojiako noted that the application by the petitioner ( counsel for Awara; Mustafa Ibrahim) has been found to be an abuse of court process. The panel also struck out the application filed by the petitioner for pre-hearing of the matter. The dismissal of the AAC Governorship Petition against the re-election of Wike by the Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal is not new under the present dispensation, as the Lagos State Governorship Election Tribunal also dismissed Petitions One and Two against the election of Lagos State Governor on similar ground. https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2019/07/08/tribunal-affirms-wikes-victory-at-2019-governorship-poll/ |

Dear nairalanders, I want to sponsor a Bill to National Assembly (Senate and House of Assembly) on Job security and Protection. My desire to sponsor this bill is born out of what I observed and see happening to Nigerian Laborers more especially in Private sectors. Currently there is a worrisome trend of staff layoff in the banking sector and no one is talking. For example, UBA Plc has come up with a new policy to terminate appoint of staffs that are age 30year and above (even though retirement age in Nigeria is either 60years old or 35years in service). The new policy will replace the aged staffs (30years old and above) with younger generation of 25years and below. Remember that some of these staffs that the bank want to send back to labor market worked out their lives, many gave up their family life and keep late at work to build the financial institution, some because of intense pressure to bring customers, go to the level of prostituting themselves just to build the bank. I know of many female staffs that are still childless simply of the pressure of the, many lost their spouses because of late office work. Having built the bank, all they could get in return to their laboure is humiliation and abandonment. The new generation that may be employed on contract bases also, the same fate await them. This type of tyranny has to stop in this country and this only could be done through legislation. Please what are the procedures of sponsoring such bill? |

“The minimum time the National Assembly requires to pass budget is three months. But he presented it just nine days to 2016’ and that ‘what Nigerians didn’t know and the President won’t say is that the Executive through the various ministries continued to propose additional projects to be included in the 2018 budget even as at April and May which further delayed the passage of the 2018 budget. These were communicated officially and if anyone is in doubt, the letters are there with the dates they were written and received. But here’s Buhari blaming the National Assembly.’ what is hypocrisy? “Even though buck passing and blame game is not new to Buhari as it is now his stock in trade; in the past few days and weeks, there is no day that passes without the President blaming others in a desperate move to exonerate himself from any blame or failure of the Executive under his leadership to execute projects across the country. “In fact, very recently, Buhari blamed all his predecessors for failing to build infrastructure. And I wonder why? It was the general consensus that the former employees didn’t perform as expected and that was why Nigerians hired him for a job he has sought for four conservative time but here he is blaming the same people he replaced. If you are the boss of ” Nigeria limited”, what will you do this employee? YAK Pls Let them KNOW |
continue reading here: My mom refused to el tem return. My girl was calling me, but something in me prevented me from reply her calls or texts. I was so depressed and scared. I was confused. I didn’t know what was wrong with me. The headaches then started. I would have headache for hours and each time I try to sleep, the same night mare won’t let me. It was too scary for me. My mom then called her prayer group. Sister Nwachila who is part of Charismatic group in her parish, cos my mom is Catholic. They came home and immediately the sister saw me, she started screaming. The the kingdom they have bound to me is strong. They prayed and prayed and prayed. They sang and sang, and then they offered to spend the night in our house. The headache bothered mem, so when I slept, as usual, the night mare came again. When I woke up, I saw the warriors on their kneels, praying for me. The sister then said she knew the source of my problems, and that the girl I am dating is from a marine kingdom. A very strong one at that. That they have eaten deep into me and are controlling me. I wasn’t angry yet. Just scared and confused. And the headaches were killing me. I had already sent four days in Nsukka, and I never once spoke to her all through that time. I was too afraid. I wondered how I would return to my shop. The headaches and lack of sleep were too much. The sister said they will go back to Enugu with me and pray for me. She said the queen of the marine kingdom was feeding on my sp*rm. I nearly died from fear. I then knew how. The girl had been submitting my condom to them. She said they were holding me very deep and strong. My mother flew into prayer and cried her soul out. Fast forward to the day I drove to Enugu town with my mum and two prayer warriors, one of them, a guy was driving because my headache was too great. When we reached, I discovered that the girl had disappeared. No trace of her again. She took none of my properties. Just took her things and absconded, Sister said I should call her, which I did but she didn’t pick up. I called her friend who said she has travelled. Sister said the girl has transferred to another place to operate. They then began liberation on me and my house. Today, I am a free man. My business is bouncing back again. I am no more having headache. I got to church more now. Am Catholic, and I pray more now. I don’t pick up dirty girls again and I am even very scared of ever having s*x again. Guys, know who you are sleeping with. They could be running your life. Not everyone out dere is safe, because sex is a spiritual thing. You may just be feeding demons with pleasure. Learn how to be very prayerful and strong. Good luck and stay safe.” |

Help me with a contact to report the nefarious activities of Hard drug dealers and buyers in my neighborhood. The activities of drug dealers and buyers in my neighborhood in Port Harcourt is alarming. Something they were doing in secret, now is openly done without any fear. The traffic in and out the compound is high. All kinds of people are there. What shocked most is the number of police, army, navy and air force personnel’s coming to transact business there. I called the only GSM number (+234-80-621-999-99) on NDLEA website severally and nobody pick the calls. Their Twitter handle is not functional. Can someone give me a number to contact to report these activities? |
IamPatriotic:i dont know and i dont understand by what you mean padded budget. i only know that Saraki and Dogara don't control budget and dont have access to national treasury from where monies are paid to contractors. i also know it is only the executives that have the exclusive power to spend money and also only executives have the exclusive power to implement national budget and not the legislative arm of government. therefore, if Legislative like, let the pad the budget from here to the end of the world, it is the executive that will implement the budget. by the way: what is the percentage of performance of all the budget passed under this BUHARI government? |
How I Mistakenly Had s*x With My 13-Year-Old Daughter: Man Recount A man who seems to be regrating his previous action of having sex with his own daughter, has revealed how the incident happened. As it stands right now this man is ashamed of himself, and keep wishing it never happened. According to him; I love my daughter so much right from the day she was born, lite skin and extremely beautiful. Ever since she turned 10, I noticed that each time she huge me when I come back from work I feel so honey. I can't just stop her from greeting me, and she loves playing with me. And that worsen the whole thing. I tried to hold myself in different occasions but I keep having this feeling more and more. One faithful evening I came back from work and my wife was not around, and I mistakenly slept with her that day, now I feel like committing suicide, ever since the incident happened, I'm ashamed of myself, I can't even talk to her anymore. I keep recalling how it all happened, I'm thinking of divorce with my wife so that she can go with my daughter. Legitnews247:Rivers election: Lawyer reveals what APC is doing at Supreme Court to nullify Wike, PDP victory April 10, 2019 Election Emmanuel Anele, constitution lawyer, has said that nothing will come out of the All Progressives Congress, APC, case before the Supreme Court seeking to nullify Rivers election. According to Anele, the Supreme Court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the matter, which it had earlier ruled upon. He stated this when he appeared on AIT yesterday, adding that the Apex Court cannot reverse itself, having voided the primaries and congresses conducted by the APC in Rivers State. He said, “The Supreme Court decided 14 cases, this year, on the basis that the time the appeals were filed had lapsed. “The Supreme Court, I know, will not oblige what the APC is asking for. The Supreme Court can’t reverse itself in this instance, otherwise, there will be no certainty, unless there is a distinguishing factor, to say, let us depart from our past judgment. The APC is not raising any new issue. It amounts to abuse of court process. The Supreme Court even, yesterday, struck out the suit filed by Magnus Abe to amend processes. APC has never raised a new issue that would compel the Supreme Court to reverse its earlier decision. The crux of the matter is whether the primaries conducted by APC in Rivers State are valid or not, and the Supreme Court has repeatedly said it is invalid. It is not even asking the Supreme Court to compel INEC to add it in the Rivers State governorship election. The election has come and gone, the only way to challenge the declaration of Nyesom Wike as governor of Rivers State is the tribunal. The Supreme Court has no jurisdiction in the instant case before it. If you look at the prayer sought, the court is not a father Christmas. It cannot give you what you did not ask.” Anele noted that the game APC wants to play was to approach Supreme Court and seek omnibus orders. He said APC wants to use such omnibus orders to approach the election tribunal. They’ll now use that trophy to approach the tribunal. That would have orchestrated constitutional crisis in Rivers State,” he added. As at the time the governorship election was conducted, there was no injunctive order stopping the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from conducting election. The game will not favour anybody, but, would rather truncate the wish of Rivers people. They’ve voted and the results announced. Anybody going to the Supreme Court to get any relief, as a trophy to approach the election tribunal, will not achieve anything. The Supreme Court will not be blackmailed to give judgment to anybody because its integrity is at stake, democracy is also at stake. The Court of Appeal based its judgment on the earlier consolidated judgment of the Supreme Court. How will the Supreme Court, now, reverse itself? The Supreme Court justices should be firm and stand on their earlier judgments, so their will be certainty in the electoral processes. Nobody will blackmail the Supreme Court justices. Nobody will get anything out of this. It is an academic exercise. Elections have been conducted and winners emerged. Anybody who is dissatisfied with the conduct of that election should approach the election petition tribunal, if you participated in that election,” he said. |
