goodieuzo: i just bought 1.8m dish supermax,there is no manual in it.i dont know how to couple it.i need help.

Congrats.
1.couple the dish petals together using the bolts and nuts supplied.
2 attach the neck ring using the holders supplied
3. Couple the dish neck and attach to the ring at the base of the dish
4. Attach the 3 tripod stands and lnb holder plate
5. Mount on pole

faithchild: i will do just just dat,but location is wat im also looking at anyway,i use a supermax c band lnb,17db while strong c band.is 15db,does this have.any significant,wat does this db mean in refereance to performance

from my experience, supermax 17k cband lnb performs well on circular polarity sats (R, L)eg Arabsat 5c@20e while strong 15k cband is good on linear sats (V, H) eg intelsat20@68e, thiacom5@78e.

petfun4u: My fellow gurus, check what I did on my new 2.4m dish. The empty arrow shown represent where u can add another LNB to track Joy TV and W3a. Very close to that Joy Tv is DSTV. More to be added between today and tomorrow Saturday.

Weldone bro, good job. But u can maxmise this dish if u motorise it. Motorised 2.4m dish will give u more than 30 satellites(both ku and cband)

Irib package is very easy to track. Use a minimum of 1.8m dish.
As for boy2buzy, his dish has issues and he sorts these issues, he will always have problem with some sats and their signals.
For 2:4m dish, the signal he posted shld read 97%.
1.work on ur dish alignment - while arabsat 5c, adjust ur angle of declination until u hit 97% on 4055 v 27500 and then input 3964 h 30000 for irib
2.Remove the ku as is partially blocking the c band.
3. Cut a new 'groove' under th cband for ku
