helinues: Is she the only appointed female Christian judge in Gombe state? She is the highest in rank. A Christian previously left the position. Under normal circumstances, the highest in rank supposed to be nominated but she was refused to be nominated because she's a Christian and they want a Muslim to be nominated. Because a Christian previously held it. |

helinues: Oh okay.
How are we even sure the Gombe judge was rejected Based on religion affiliation? Well truth is she was rejected because of religion. The previous news have it that a Christian previously held that position, maybe they wanted a Muslim or it's the turn of Muslim, that's why she was refused to be nominated. check the previous thread |

Let's see your programmes, sell it to the 236 Wards in the state and let's see how far you can go.
Enough of blind criticism, it's time for you to come into the political space.
Until then you will not know how easy it is to govern a State and the people. He wasn't forced to contest in 2019 |

willzy0909: So, if I may ask, where are these applicants supposed to carry out their agro business after the training? The Lagos State I know is congested with houses. No one will choose agriculture in his empty plot against building an office complex or residential storey building on it. Knowing that real estate is the next thing after crude oil in lagos. Don't they have their respective states |

Analog95: I got a girl in my 100 level while she was doing predegree. we fell in love and move, I studied mechanical engineering and she was later admitted to study accounting. I do teach her maths and physics because they are her weak points and my school being a school of technology ( Lautech) she has no choice than to pass the courses. when I got to 300level she was in 100level and most times she is in my hostel or I am in her hostel. At a point, we rarely spend 6 months in our individual hostels. When I got to 400level and she was in 200level, I had issues with house rent and she decided we can use her own house rent to get a better accommodation and live together. we started couples life in 400/200 level respectively. Today we are both graduates, we are married, We have a kid and we are expecting another one soon. presently I'm running my doctorate degree and we are planning on she starting her masters but the pregnancy is the one delaying her for now Why will you teach an accounting student PHYSICS |

Daru Dapo knows absolutely nothing on governance.
With a great overflow from Lagos, why Ogun state wasn't blessed with visionary leaders kept me amazed.
Ogun state / Oyo state supposed to have used a great advantage of Lagos overflow. Build standard roads, provide amenities, make business easy, etc.
People will be working in Lagos and be living in Ogun / Oyo with a functional and faster transportation system coupled with good roads and traffic free.

OROSUNBOLB: This reason why I brought it up actually is for all of us Yoruba to know that we are one indivisible people with one destiny ! We are all from the same source and that's what makes us unique as a people.
I hope Kabiesi,Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye would extend invitation to the people of Offa whenever Ile Ife is holding any festival to celebrate Iya Moremi. Such a step would help to further cement our relationship as one Yoruba people.
Thanks bro. True! Seconded. |

Which 42 feet tall? What made it 42 feet? A stature that is at most 18 feet tall was put on a staircase of probably 20 feet high and you say it is the tallest?
So if you are 5 feet tall and you climb a tree of 30 feet in height, then you will tell us you are 35 feet tall when asked of your height?
Stop eating Gbegiri! See this Otondo oooo. do you know the meaning of 42 feet. Just because you see it from the pics, you're judging it with the pics? lol, Ofe nsala has really entered your brain, you're not thinking straight. |

Shegunsmart: Below is a picture of the Ile-Ife celebrated Moremi in Ugbo land being punished for her betrayal. She pleads everyday for her wrong doing. It is believed that she betrayed the good people of Ugbo kingdom in Ilaje local government of Ondo state hence the need to get her punished.
She's been whipped yearly for her atrocities.
The Ugbo people have their own version of this same history. If OP could also journey down to Ugbo kingdom, he'd get first hand version of theirs.
NB: While being celebrated somewhere, she's also paying dearly for her betrayal. Well you're right. Ugbo viewed her as a betrayal Ife viewed her as Hero. either ways, both parties are correct and the version OP started out is actually correct. |

OROSUNBOLB: This is really a nice writeup,well-done ! I have actually visited the place severally; such a cool place to visit. The statue is gigantic ; very huge ! The location is not far from the palace.
Op,why is it that when the story of Iya Moremi is being narrated, people don't actually talk about where she came from originally ? Are you aware of the fact that Moremi Ajasoro ,who sacrificed her only child,Oluorogbo ,for the people of her husband, was actually an indigene of Offa in kwara state ? Yes she's from Offa but she is not being celebrated by her people. They only named her after one old secondary school. (Moremi high school) They just recently build a Hall of Fame named Moremi Hall of Fame beside the central mosque at the front of the Olofa of Offa Palace. Yet to be completed tho. |

EastisBae: Lot's of Nigerians don't really look beyond the surface on issues but will rather take things on the face value. What many do not know is that Igbos actually love Nigeria but were forced to hate it due to circumstances beyond their control. I repeat, Igbos and Fulanis are the two tribes that love Nigeria the most and would want to save it from breaking up and I will provide facts to back up my assertions. Something is really going on underground that many do not understand in Nigeria. At the moment, the people that actually want to break free from Nigeria and are praying fervently for it in their minds are the Yorubas. Yes, the Yorubas, particularly their elite wants Nigeria to break up but are afraid to come out openly to voice it because of the consequences. So they're hoping for IPOB or the Niger Delta militants to fight the North so they can use the opportunity to declare Oduduwa.
Yorubas know that oil has gone past its prime and since Nigeria utilized the oil boom resources to develop Lagos and build up its infrastructure, Lagos is now strong enough to not just support itself but also support the entire SW/Oduduwa so Nigeria can't do more for them anymore than they can do for themselves with Lagos..... Lols. Well I don't know of others o, for me I prefer we Yorubas break away from Nigeria. Because we ain't making use of our potentials here. Every FG, before you implement something, FG must approved. Mtcheww I prefer we Yorubas (SW + Kwara and kogi west) to break away from Nigeria. We have the land for agriculture we have port and sea we have borders we have oil. we have gas. we have the manpower we have the human resources we have the brain we have the education we have the tourist attraction we have big big churches (tourism e.g Rccg, winners etc) we have the population what else do we lack? absolutely nothing. |

As a good student of history, the North held on to power because of Easterners like Azikiwe, Ekwueme and co who were so good at asslicking and bootlicking the Fulanis.
The Northerners are wary of Yorubas and I know this for a fact. The day Yorubas rise up against them, they'll flee. We feed this country. True. let's see what will happen in 2022 sha |
