When Benin people were complaining that their business men were going through difficulties because of the closed border, Nigeria government closed their ears to the plights and pains of the Beninese. Now they ended up learning how to live and survive without Nigeria and Nigeria is now calling on ECOWAS to prevail in the matter. Who locked the border in the first place? who prevented Benin goods and goods of other countries from entering Nigeria through Benin border, is it not the failed country they call Nigeria.

Nigeria also broke ECOWAS rule when they prevented goods from Benin to enter Nigeria, so why is Nigeria complaining when Benin wants to charge them tariffs on any goods entering their country through Nigeria. This is quite commendable on the part of the IGP, he didn't allow Nepotistic or primordial sentiment to cloud his reasoning. The international reputation of the NPF is at stake considering the quantum of evidence stacked against Kyari.
