If only Nigeria can just handle this Fulani Conundrum. Buhari appears not to be helping matters, he has not come out for once to openly address the excesses of his kinsmen, an action which has emboldened them to carry out their nefarious acts. The average Fulani feels he's above the law and can do as he pleases, since one of theirs is at the centre. The current food scarcity and soaring prices we are suffering today is traceable to the activities of armed Fulani herdsmen and bandits dotting the entire landscape of Nigeria. The sooner we take up arms and deal decisively with this existential threat the better. |
That's how those Abokis wanted to try that shit by organizing the coronation of the "Sarduanna of Otukpo" We rose to the occasion and shot down that rough play, before you know they'll want to establish an Emirate in Idoma land. My Edo peeps make una shine una eyes oh! Na so e de start small small, before una know na so the "Sultan" go de drag territory with the Oba and send him on exile ( For this Buhari era, anything can happen) |

LordVoldermort:Dadin Kowa, especially the area along the road, is predominantly occupied by Muslims. |
Patrioticman007:Not yet, they've not produced any weapon with nuclear capability yet, though they have a nuclear development project currently ongoing. |
WaffenSS:Guy have you settled down to ask yourself, Why only the Fulanis are being attacked and vilified almost everywhere in this country? From Plateau, Kaduna, Benue, Abia, Ebonyi,Edo, Delta, Enugu, Ogun, Oyo, Ekiti even as far as Rivers and Bayelsa, same story? Why are other tribes not antagonized like the Fulanis? Something must be fundamentally wrong with your kinsmen that warrants the hostile treatment they've been receiving. Buhari is the only force holding the entire country from declaring "open season" for your people, and he won't stay on the throne forever. Karma is coming for u all. |
teepain:Buhari is the only thing standing between the Fulanis and genocide, I just pity them when PMB's tenure elapses. They'll soon get what's coming. |
teepain:Don't pay attention to that uninformed idiat , he seems to have forgotten what happened to his people ( Izala sect) who were warned not to go and pray during sallah at the Rukuba prayer ground, after burning the biggest church around Terminus. They ignored and still went ahead, they youths from the host community waited patiently for them to start slamming their heads before the real massacre began. At the end it was such a gory site to behold. |
Not in all cases, my elder bro was doing very well, but as soon as he married, everything just dried up. He's living from hand to mouth, even the wife is yet to put to birth since 2012! |
freegaza:Read my opening statement for the answer you seek. |
freegaza:Because the two major tribes Mada and Eggon refuse to cooperate, and divide their votes while the Muslims be it Hausa or Fulani usually have bloc vote. The Muslim elites have also perfected the art of "divide and conquer" They usually use that Idiot, Labaran Maku to always split the votes. Ombugado Davematics had a perfect chance of winning but Maku refused to step down for him until the eve of the elections. Then it was too late. The Margin between the incumbent and Davematics wasn't much, because of that sellout Maku. |
Why is it that most of the police command in Eastern states are always headed by Aboki, but you can hardly see an IBO Commissioner of police, heading commands in the core North? |

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT * £1 = N705 $1 = N505 €1 = N605 02/08/2021 0.78k = $1 02/08/1980 Are you surprised? We were far more productive in 1980 than we are today In 1980 the key reasons for economic growth were are as follows: 1) We were a net exporter of refined petroleum products. Today we import all our refined petroleum products. 2) We rode in locally assembled cars, buses and trucks. Peugeot cars in Kaduna and Volkswagen cars in Lagos. Leyland in Ibadan and ANAMCO in Enugu produced our buses and trucks. Steyr at Bauchi producing our Agricultural tractors. And it was not just Assembly, we were producing many of the components. Vono products in Lagos producing the seats. Exide in Ibadan producing the batteries, not just for Nigeria but for the entire West Africa. Isoglass and TSG in Ibadan producing the windshields. Ferodo in Ibadan producing the brake pads and discs Tyres produced by Dunlop in Lagos and Mitchelin in Portharcourt. And I mean tyres produced from rubber plantations located in Ogun and Cross Rivers State. 3) We were listening to Radio and watching television sets assembled in Ibadan by Sanyo. 4) We were using refrigerators, freezers and Airconditioners produced by Thermocool and Debo. 5) We were putting on clothes produced from the UNTL textile mills in Kaduna and Chellarams in Lagos. Not from imported cotton but from cotton grown in Nigeria. 6) Our water was running through pipes produced by Kwalipipe in Kano and Duraplast in Lagos . 7) Our toilets were fitted with WC produced at Kano and Abeokuta. We were cooking with LPG gas stored inside gas cylinders produced at the NGC factory in Ibadan.9) Our electricity was flowing through cables produced by the Nigerian wire and Cable, Ibadan, NOCACO in Kaduna and Kablemetal in Lagos and Portharcourt. 10) We had Bata and Lennards producing the shoes we were putting on Not from imported leather but from locally tanned leather at Kaduna. 11) We were mainly flying our airways, the Nigeria Airways, to most places in the world. The Airways was about the biggest in Africa at that time. 12) Most of the food we ate were being grown or produced in Nigeria. We were producing all of the above and more in 1980 Today, we import almost everything. There lies the source of the terrible exchange rate we are experiencing today and everybody reading this has a critical role to play in reversing this very UGLY trend. We have been talking about these problems and more for ages... It is not enough for us to complain about the exchange rate or point out what others are not doing or are failing to do, the key question is what are we producing or what are we planning to produce? Going forward, it's time to ponder and think of the way forward before it's TOO LATE Is there any solution? |
The sooner we all learn that ICC is another tool of western imperialism the better. The bigger and more technologically advanced nations ( super powers) use institutions like UN, IMF and world bank to muscle or keep the rest of the world in line, while they violate the same treaties and international conventions. For starters, let us check the line up of so called despots or dictators that have stood trial in the Hague or been indicted by ICC: Slobadan Milosevic, Laurent Gbagbo, Charles Taylor,Radovan Karadžić, Ratko Mladić, Joseph Kony, Muamar Ghaddafi, etc. What common thread links all of them? They are all from less powerful nations. When would President George Bush jnr and Tony Blair stand trial for war crimes? Both were coerced by defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld and his deputy Paul Wolfowitz into fighting a needless gulf war 2 that led to the death of thousands of innocent Iraqis, all because of oil! They deceived the entire world that Saddam Hussein was producing WMD. At the end nothing was found. When would Nicolai Sarkozky of France stand trial? He led the coalition of allied forces that attacked Libya, all because Ghaddafi was musing over the idea of floating an African currency backed by the resources of Africa. That singular action would have led to the fall or realignment of the world economy as we know it, I.e. the Euro, Dollar and Pounds would have plummeted. The insurgency affecting the Sahel region of west Africa is a direct fallout of the Libyan Crisis. Why is Saudi Arabia not standing trial over the atrocities meted out to Yemen? or the Saudi crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS) not on trial for being complicit in the death of Saudi dissident Journalist, Khasshoggi? I am not saying the other dictators mentioned earlier, don't deserve to stand trial for their crimes against humanity but I am merely pointing out the implicit bias and outright hypocrisy of the major powers, who have clearly shown that " Might is right" In closing, let me pose this question, " Who are the super powers accountable to, since the system has been rigged in their favour"? |
No be small thing oh!, come to think of it, so we have something like the Nigerian Army " Alpha" Commando base in Niger state, and the state is virtually overrun by bandits? One can hardly ply that Suleja- Kaduna road without fear of being kidnapped! Abi na shiroro wey de bandits the operate with reckless abandon? The Army had better activate the " Alpha" mode and rescue the state from brigandage. |
It's high time we practice the doctrine of reciprocity in our foreign relations. The US can go to war if the right of a single citizen is infringed how much more a diplomat! The reason our citizens are maltreated in different countries is because they've seen how we treat our own people back home, Miango residents were murdered in cold blood in Plateau, yet heads have not rolled over that security breach, the President has not deemed it fit to even address the nation over the incident! Just imagine de statement by the foreign affairs minister, " our Ambassador to Indonesia has been recalled for due consultation " why didn't he order the Indonesian ambassador to leave? Trust me, the consultation would be on how to plan Buhari's visit to that country, just like he did after the xenophobic attacks in South Africa. The right way to hit back at Indonesia, is to go after their economic interests in Nigeria. Indomie noodles has a big market in Nigeria, you also have Indorama, hit them where it hurts the most - their pockets. I only see this diplomatic impasse ending in mere rhetorics, nothing concrete will happen. Indonesia and Nigeria are member States in OIC ( organization of Islamic countries) so highest they'll be diplomatic talks between both countries and the matter will be swept under the carpet. Trust our weak ass Bubu. Nothing will happen, they'll slap Nigeria and we will turn the other cheek. |
