68816419: true, same applies to CMS train terminal, the beautify part of Ikeja bus terminal is the fact that its incorporated with the Lagos light rail system
yes and its better than what you posted. you tried to make it seem like that basic european 4-storey architecture is better than famfa twer hence why i posted it fr your sight and judgment to work better.
68816419: not really, here is just one of the multibillion projects starting in Nigeria soon
Lol he should give it a rest. The gas market belongs to Nigeria and we would be taking over that wheel come next year. Once this project is completed we would have the European and African gas demand market by their balls. This could see our economy growth surge to the roof alongside dangote’s project coming upstream. Nigeria has the 9th largest gas reserve in the world, this shouldn’t come as a surprise.
68816419: This is just an ordinary bus terminal and not Jomo Kenyatta airport, where else do u see Dominos, KFC ,Cinema in a bus terminal if not in Lagos
Nice, nice. I love the fact that most terminals in Lagos are incorporating retail spaces into the design of their buildings. It’s literally a mini mall. If blindfolded and dropped here I would swear I was in a mall not knowing I was in a terminal.
I love this trend. The yaba terminal amongst other is going that route.
Bobbiee: These are usually privately funded buildings. I don't know why even people like Dangote builds shoddy works. The only person that try small is Folorunsho Alakija with her Famfa tower. But even that one doesn't hold a candle to the ones you have pictured. I often wonder what our architects study in school. It's definitely not architecture, because most of the constructions are just copy and paste work.
Even small buildings must possess the ability to stand out from the crowd. That's what makes it unique. For instance this small shop in France is definitely unique and noticeable. Our buildings are as depressing as our reality. I hope we ditch building with concrete blocks in favour of something better
Lol that’s an old European architecture, beautiful yes but it ain’t modern. No one will compare that with this . Pls check your eyes sir.
Another bad boy in banana island. Already topped out and interior decor has commenced. You can tell Nigerians don’t joke with luxury interior decor. All hands are always on the deck to make it a masterpiece. And guess what,it’s cheaper compared to what I have seen in most countries for less luxury.
Kazikazi: So if we start our LNG project of about 40b dollars,we are going to be in 2nd position! A current situation in ground....
Not surprised of Egypt position. Egypt is extremely impressive. Over 30 smart cities currently on going and some of them are running int $50bn and above. And construction is no damn joke.
Nigeria is undertaking some might project that can spur a crazy economic growth. We should keep that up improve even more.
theenchanter: it's serious. I was at apapa around March to see some equipments that landed. I don't know if I still have the pics in my archive.
Those equipments were so huge and I was wondering how they would be hauled..... On bridges, of course.
And those equipments will be sent to different part of the country. Another batch is coming by 4th quarter of this year ...... Even world bank is part of the financiers.
