Abiku !!!!! the golden child that puts the life saving power of the great herbalist to shame !!! A good excuse to return !!! May God deliver us from them !!! |
@Poster The title of your topic is much exaggerated and unwarranted considering the matter you put on ground, you are biased. GEJ remains the chief secuirty officer of the Nation and should be held responsible for a free and fair election. Buhari has never been a man of violence, he is just a very disciplined man. I won't blame you or others that are routing for GEJ and cohorts, Nigeria would never move forward if people like you continue to support PDP, GEJ, PDP godfathers, etc. If you are not part of the solution then you are probably part of the problem!!!! |
Go back to the licensing office. Explain your issues to them, they would know better or to save you the hassle call this number, 08062420592, he works in the VIO licensing office in Ojodu, Berger, i hope he can give you useful info but if he can't go to any of their offices yourself. Also don't patronize touts!!!!! |
Sorry bro, that's the price we pay for the mess they call Vehicle Registration in this country. That Vehicle's Number couldn't have been re-allocated within such short period, the reason would have been the original owner did a backdoor vehicle licensing and he was allocated another existing Number. I wonder how he had been renewing the vehicle documents before he sold it to you. Also this call for a little investigation, ensure the car you bought has a clean title!!! |
D*mn!!!!! Seee cost of staying alive in Nigeria!! that price is same as putting a Two story building with four flats on wheels, Jeez, money dey this country o!!!! and na one human being go buy this one, |
You have a "fantastically" cool car, almost as good as new!!! There are two types of cars, they are Benz and the rest! But oga one thing first, you don't have to insult every person that disagrees with your opinion, haba? to be a good sales man you should know customers are always right. |
That number plate had been faulty from the beginning even with the original owner, just go register the car like newly since that car VIN isnt in the records. |
As much as trade in used phones is becoming rampant both globally (E bay) and in Naija (Nairaland and Computer Village), we constantly have the fear of buying the fake version 'China' of the phone for the price of an original. Driving to work everyday, i am bombarded by these scruffy looking guys selling wrist watches, suddenly they flash you a Nokia N97 covered under their clothes, for the unwary ones that are "uninitiated" most of these phones are "china" version which you would discover after you take them home. There are some guilty parties on this nairaland too, imagine someone offering a 135k phone for 35k ?? now they have gone a step further by selling the "china" version for as close price with the new one just to convince the unwary souls, the China phones have improved so much that they have become a perfect replica of the original except for software differences; you can hardly distinguish the two by sight except when you put it into use. I bought my first Blackberry from ebay after screening out sellers from other countries except US, Blackberry was not common in Nigeria then and i really got a good deal, i have since upgraded to a newer version of the phone which i bought in Nigeria. I want to include an Iphone now but i don't see why i should spend so much for a new one if i can get a neatly used one. I have gotten some offers from Nairalanders but the fear of "China' phone is the beginning of wisdom. So let me go back to my ebay, at least "paypal" would guarantee the satisfaction part of what i buy. Imagine getting home and discovering you bought Iped instead of Ipad!!!!!!!! |
As much as i appreciate his ingenuity but a technology has been perfected for production of Rocket, preferably he should study the current technology and improve on it's weak point. If facebook was copying Google, it wont be where it is now. It's just like trying to invent a car when we have cars like BMW and Benz that are light years ahead, Originality is the key word. Let the government give him schorlarship to study the current technology on Rocket building. |
Why do people bother to marry? you get all you need without marriage na, so why marry? |
The close of the 2nd chapter, to be continued in Part 3, i hope not. |
chi21:Sorry ooooo, but i find your reply more interesting than the post, Do you know any Dame Patience ? |
Yuck !!!!! who re-incarnated Jezebel? |
My company (MTN) gives such, its called Paternity Leave but i think its just 1 week ooo! 6 months ke? for what? |
This world sef!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alien from another planet are mixing up with humans, mschewwww!!!! |
Tell her parents!!!!! anonymously i mean! that's the only help you can give her!!!! she would thank you later in life! |
Why can't we ever form good stories? if no be rape na juju, if not na child abuse, if not na mother in law wahala, if not na husband brutalization, if not na cheating boyfriend, if not na wife with HIV, i tire for una ooooo, Poster please come up with a happy scenario ! |
Get a life!!!!!!!! all these secondary school boiz sef!!!! nairaland should have age restriction!!!!! ![]() |
Abeg marry him, age is a perception of the mind and its not written on your forehead, your only worry is later in life, when he becomes 40, you would be nearing your 50's, and as you know men gets finer as they grow older opposite goes for women, so considering the gap, you would look like his mother at that age. But who knows you might both be crazily in lust to notice!!!! |
In this day and time!!!! no wonder boiz no wan marry again!!! who dey lose? their daughter go old for house!!!!! in fact all the benefits you get im marriage are now offered to guys free by some girls, cooking, cleaning, good luvin, etc without the commitment!!!!! so if you see a responsible guy wan marry you and you begin demand like Oprah Winfrey, you are on your own!!!! |
For the men, the logic is when you vist your in-law for the first time, make sure your intended father In law sees you parking your Camry Voltron with 16" Chrome wheel at their gate, you can bet it would be all smiles and warm welcome. But if they see you (especially your mother In-law) trying to collect your change from the okada man that brought you to their house, forget it!!!! even if you are as gentle and responsible as Pope John Paul, you can't please them o!!!!! Reality!!!!! So if na to borrow go borrow!!! and wear fine suit or nice lace go!!!!lol. |
Another Nigerian with a problem ![]() |
Aondoakaa is a thug, says US officials Mike Aondoakaa, the former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, is a thug who did the late President Umaru Yar’Adua’s dirty work, a leaked US diplomatic cable, made exclusively available to NEXT, has said. In the cable, dated December 24, 2008, American diplomats attached to the US embassy in Nigeria, also criticised the late Yar’Adua’s anti-corruption fight citing his choice of people with questionable characters as ministers. The cable, classified by the then acting political counsellor, Cheryl Fernandes and endorsed by then American Ambassador, Robin Sanders, is a comprehensive biographical background check on some ministers that served under the late President. “Aondoakaa is an intelligent, politically savvy lawyer who is reputed to have done some of Yar’Adua’s dirty work, including attempts to disgrace Economic and Financial Crimes Commission former chairman, Nuhu Ribadu,” the US officials wrote in their dispatch to Washington. “He is considered to be a thug heavily involved in illicit enrichment and cannot be trusted. Yar’Adua keeping him on belies his commitment to the rule of law.” Contacted yesterday, Mr. Aondoakaa said the assessment of him was nonsense. “Is it not the same woman who said things about the speaker, about the President?” Mr. Aondoakaa said. “The woman was just here carrying out the wish of her masters. The US doesn’t have serious attachment to these cables. The Nigerian government has denied these cables. What she was saying, if she said them at all, is nonsense.” Fugitive in the cabinet The Americans also said President Yar’Adua’s choice of Chuka Odom, a man “wanted” by the EFCC, as the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, only showed his administration’s insincerity in fighting corruption. “Odom was declared “wanted” by the EFCC, alongside former Governor Kalu’s mother, for alleged fraud and money laundering. That an individual under investigation and “wanted” by the EFCC can retain a cabinet seat is symbolic of the GON’s ineffectiveness at pushing against entrenched interests in the fight against corruption,” the cable reads. The diplomats also criticised the appointment of Godsday Orubebe as Minister of State for Niger Delta, describing it as an insurance against Mr. James Ibori. “We note, however, that his appointment might also be indicative of former Governor Ibori’s continuing powerful influence. With Ibori having his former assistant, Orubebe in the Niger Delta Ministry and his former accountant, David Edevbie in the Presidential Villa, and his first-cousin as Delta State Governor (Uduaghan), Ibori is more entrenched than ever in the Yar’Adua administration,” the Americans noted. The cable described Ojo Madueke, then Minister of Foreign Affairs, as a key figure who had remained beneficial to US interests. “Maduekwe has been described by Nigerians as a member of “AGIP” (Any Government in Power). He has been successful in making the transition from Obasanjo’s inner circle to Yar’Adua’s. There are some rumors that he may be replaced in the near future, which would be a loss for the USG. Maduekwe has been helpful on issues for DRC, Mauritania, and Zimbabwe,” reported the cable. Clueless, incompetent ministers It was also revealed that many of the ministers were chosen solely because of their closeness to the president and not based on national interest. Sayyadi Abba Ruma, then Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources; and Hassan Lawal, then Minister of Works and Housing, and the only other minister, after Mr. Madueke, to have served in Messrs. Obasanjo and Yar’Adua administration were described to fit this profile. Mr. Ruma’s several appointments, including heading the Labour Ministry and the Ministry of Health following the removal of the former Minister on corruption charges are said to be tied to him attending the same secondary school with Mr. Yar’Adua. US agencies “found him ineffective as the supervising Minister of Health from April to December 12, 2008.” “Ruma is part of the Katsina clique (President Yar’Adua’s home state) and has the ear of President Yar’Adua. Ruma is reportedly also President Yar’Adua’s cousin. We have been told that he served as the first kidney donor to Yar’Adua,” the cable said. Deziani Allison-Madueke, the then Minister of Mines and Steel Development, was described as “ineffectual” and said to have done “a poor job in her last Ministerial position as Transportation and Aviation Minister”. The Americans remembered her more for having wept in public at the state of disrepair of the Lagos-Ore Expressway while serving as Minister of Transportation. After several interactions with Bagudu Hirse, the second Minister of State in the Foreign Affairs ministry, the Americans said “he appeared thoroughly unbriefed on foreign affairs”. The then Minister of Science and Technology, Alhassan Zaku, was said to have “made no real noteworthy contributions in his previous position as Minister of State for Science and Technology”. Jostling for portfolio’s Dora Akunyili, who became the Minister of Information and Communications, is reported to have told Mrs Sanders on December 22 that “she is very upset about not getting the Health portfolio”. She said she went to see Mr and Mrs. Yar’Adua over the issue and told them she was contemplating turning down the appointment based on her husband’s advice. Yet she never did. “She confided to Ambassador she is worried that her reputation of being honest and no-nonsense would not do well in the Yar’Adua administration. Akunyili said Yar’Adua told her never to lie and promised he would never ask her to lie for him,” the cable said. Adetokunbo Kayode was reported as being “highly disappointed” at not being appointed as the Minister of Justice/Attorney General. But the officials described him as having made little impact as the Minister of Tourism. “He had a running battle with the head of the Tourism Board and there is little to show for his time in this Ministry. He is likely to be happier with his appointment to Labor, but we don’t see any reason to believe his record will be much better in this Ministry. He is said to have an explosive temper that marred his tenure at the Ministry of Tourism,” US officials said. Shining few Despite the knocks against majority of President’ Yar’Adua’s cabinet, some ministers won the admiration of the Americans. Babatunde Osotimehin, the then Minister of Health, was described as “one of Yar’Adua’s better appointments”; Aderemi Babalola, then Minister of State for Finance, was said to be “extremely competent, knows his portfolio well”. About Mansur Muhtar, the then Minister of Finance, who played a major role in the negotiations that led to Nigeria’s exit from the Paris and London Clubs of creditors, the officials said, “A senior U.S. economist who worked closely with him at the Africa Development Bank described him as by far the best Executive Director at the bank , smart, articulate, and gets the big picture.” |
If this is an advert then your info is too scanty, tell us more here not phone call. |
Sorry Bro, Don't wanna intrude but that looks like a Storm1 and also you might wanna review the price. |
job security is when you can wake up anytime to go to work and you can close work anytime without the fear of being sacked!!! summary; you are self employed!!!! You can never have job security when working for someone because even if na Shell, policy could change anyday! |
Good Decisions are made from experience, experience is gotten from series of bad decisions. We all have to pay something to learn, you have just learnt a good lesson, No need crying over a spilt milk. Pick up what is left and move on. This should serve as a good example for some planning to make same mistake, funny thing is that some would still fall gullible to such vice again. |
Interesting topic!!!!! lol, deleted, It shows how a mistake can become a style, now you type Deleted and have 166 viewers, curiousity ! |
