First off, you're not supposed to post this.

Second, I've seen errors in grammar, punctuation, capitalization and sentence structure. And even some possible misheards.

When ever you're done with the script, try to read through it all over again, without the audio playing, and see if it actually makes sense.

Use Google searches to find names you're not sure of. And most importantly, have the FAQ by your side while working.

Someone had the audacity to scribe 860+ minutes, in just one week.

If try something like that eh, the money will just end up settling hospital bills.

Thanks a lot. So how do I fund the card?
You can do that over the counter, after filling a UBA teller with the required information, and indicating that it's a prepaid card.

Don't over-think. When you want to collect the card, the banking official will tell you all you need to know, and answer all your questions better.

Card is free, but to link with PP. fund with a minimum of #2000.
I think card is actually N1050. It's just that, they will deduct that N1050 from your first deposit into the card.

To all my fellow transcribers,

May pp never block our path. We pray for more 5's. May our eyes be anointed to see our errors, our ears anointed discern their accents, and may our fingers never get too weak to type.

In all, may God grant us the wisdom to sow seeds that will lead to our freedom.

Happy New Year.
This your prayer go well, abeg. Happy new year.

Gud pm, everyone.
Has anyone experienced this before, how did you go about it?
Seems like your password and your email aren't matching up.
Be aware that your password is case sensitive. This means that you need to type it the exact same way you did, when you created it.

If you created it as PhiEWalL#1999#, something like phiewall#1999# will not work. Check well and try again.

Then, you should dispute that rating. Get a clarification from Slack. Take it up with Arlen. Whatever you have to do to get clarity. That was not a valid point. Like @Samsard pointed out, a quarter million = $250,000. How much more a grand and a half. It's $1500, bro.
No worries. Point taken.

brijibs:
undecided embarassed huh
I said so because I was once marked down because of this.

If a speaker says, "One grand". You can transcribe as $1000, or £1000 as the case may be. Same thing goes for two grand, three grand or any kind of grand.
But once someone says something like, "Six and a half grand". If you transcribe it as $6500 or £6500, you might get away with it if you're being rated by a lenient rater.
But if it's someone like {30}. Trust me, you won't get away with it.

But just do whatever work for you, sha.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by Samxie(m):
Yuneehk:
$2500.
This is wrong.
Check the FAQ rule for fractions. It should be, "Two and a half grand".

Does anyone still have the unedited parts of final script problem? If no then thankfully we worked it out. Just finished one without touching the stamps and it was graded fine.
Well, bro. Your recommendation of not mistakenly backspacing the timestamps (on the Mobile Beta Transcription Page) was very excellent.

Although, I agree. You act funny once in a while. But you deserve full credits for this one.

Thumbs up bro.

The new platform isn't that bad. I just finished working with it now.

Yes. It might take a while to get used to. But, I personally think it's not that bad.

Quick question: Has anyone uploaded those extra documents required by PayPal when you sign up?

Please, kindly assist.
Abeg na. I try not to ask too many questions here. This is the second question I've ever asked on this thread.

Please someone should help me out on this.

Ok thanks. But for the past 2 days, all the jobs I have clicked on gives the same error message.

If it is as you said, please how long will it take a newbie like me to get a job?

Thanks
From around 10 p.m., you'll find your queue full of calls.
Just ensure you don't take too long to make a choice. Refresh the list before picking a call, if need be.
Good luck, bro.

For those of us struggling with the punctuation thingy. You know, it'll help a great deal to study his punctuation. See how he puts his commas and fullstops. It's one of the ways I learned too. Just saying. Good evening.
I was just about to say this. Transcription has now influenced his typing pattern.

Am I the only one seeing this new interface on QA world? The new work interface now has buttons for play/pause, Rewind/forward, slow/fast, and beg.
I've been seeing those buttons on my mobile ever since I started. It makes me wonder why folks usually need all those moded keyboards at all.

Please I just logged into my PP and checked my balance. I haven't seen any payment yet. How long does it usually take for the account to be credited.
I'm feeling uneasy. Please help.

@Foluwaseyi

My phone has 4G option. But most of the time, I put it on 3G and it is more than enough to get my job done.
I joined QA last week. I've been transcribing with my phone and doing very well.

Honestly, I owe everyone here a lot of appreciation for all the help offered right from day one.
I successfully signed up today. Though I opened my PayPal account the straightforward way (using Nigeria as country...), because for some reason, I didn't come across the PDF.
I don't know if this will turn out to be a problem when I want to cash out.
Please any advice?
Thanks so much.
