Reading ur posts, i realize i am lucky, my babies are almost 11months old too and they eat everything. Rice, cemo, poundo, noodles, porridge made with potatoes or yam whatever, fish, egg yolk, its cereal dey dont even care for much.keep offering everything to ur.baby, soon he'll adapt, he was.probably breastfed exclusively. Bottle fed babies are more keen to try out foods.dont be afraid he is old enuf for.adult food.

Thank you so much for this enlightening piece.

Yes, I have a strong passion for ICT. There is some kind of affinity between the two of us and I feel at home whenever am tackling/solving any computer-related issue/problem. Should have followed my passion back in the days but my parents wanted something else and their will then was stronger than mine. What doesn't kill a man only makes him stronger.

If I decide to go this route, hope age won't be a barrier ( am 25)? Hope the embassy won't be wondering what's up? Hope my WAEC of 2015 is still relevant and I can apply with it (What of NECO)?

there is a field called bioinformatics, its perfect for u with your biology background and passion for IT. Do ur research very well and u'll find unis with similar courses.

I have 10 month old twin girls, and my Taiye bullies her sis like this too.she always takes her toys, scratches her face, pulls her hair.kenny is gentle, so she cries all the time, only lashing out back occasionally. They are too young for me to discipline i think.I am also at a loss to what to do.

Its one thing to be an introvert and another thing to have bad manners.. Some illmannered pple like to hide under the cover of introversion. If pple give u bad reviews then u shld take them seriously and work on yourself..
I presently live with sbdy who is so illmannered its unbelievable that she is Yoruba as yorubas are well known for respect and manners. When u try to correct, she claims its because she is an introvert.
I am an introvert too and when I left a job, I got gifts and a send forth party

I am a female too and I dont see any big deal in this situ. Take it as an opportunity to get to know your inlaws too. Dont join the crowd of ladies who want to marry their husbands alone, and do not want to giv their inlaws the respect they deserve. You will be suprised u'll end up having a great time there.

Webmasters / Re: Reasons Why Most Nigerian Developers Are Poor by samyan12: 10:21am On Oct 07, 2014
Op is kinda right. For some reason I cant fathom Nigerian developers dont make much money. My first job after graduation was as a trainee in a software company in Lagos, was paid a measly 60k every month, even the senior developers in d company weren't making up to 200k a month.
To my suprise, here in south Africa even the greenest, low level junior developer takes between 10-15k rands home in a month. I agree Nigerian developers need to start making more money.

Family / Re: I Lost My Job Less Than 5weeks To The Arrival Of Our Baby, wife's BP Rises, advice by samyan12: 6:22pm On Jul 08, 2014
I have this personal testimony for your wife. I was in a far worse situation just a few months ago. In december last year, I was eight months pregnant with twins, me and my husband took the decision to go have the babies outside the country. I resigned my job, because I knew with twins I would have my hands full when the babies come.

Just about a month to my delivery date, while shopping we were robbed at gunpoint, my husband was seriously injured.he also suffered a broken leg. He landed at the emergency ward. you can imagine my dilemma, me heavily pregnant, in a country where I had no family. the only person I knew well had ended up in the hosp.my husband was scheduled to have surgery. then as if things cudnt get any worse, during the surgery he was diagnosed to have developed a clot in his lungs.
he was in intensive care for 10 days, I was distraught, but I stayed strong for my babies.
my husband gradually started to improve, and he came home a few days before I put to bed. he didnt work for the next 5 months. But God took care of us.we got favour and mercy from even places we didnt expect.
Alhamdulillahi for his mercies.Moral of the story? This too shall pass!!!
here we are six months later, two beautiful twin baby girls, a healthy husband. your wife should stay strong, job loss isnt the end of the world.

I don't think there is any remedy than the painkiller u are taking. All these pains we are all complaining of are pregnancy induced pains... See ur doc to put ur mind at rest, but you just hv to make up ur mind to manage the pain. I pray it disppears on itself as the ones I had earlier did.

Thanks oo. I have no choice, I've practically cruised thru these past 30 wks. I was hoping it'll continue that way.

Hello house, I've been a silent observer of this thread, usually pop in every few days to see what's the latest with my fellow preg mamas. I'm 30 wks pregnant with twins, and I've had a relatively stress-free pregnancy thankfully. This is my first pregnancy. Yesterday I started noticing this pain in my wrist, which gradually worsened by nightfall. Dr Google has said its carpal tunnel syndrome, its rly painful don't know what to do, just took painkillers.pls who has experienced this, and what did u do to ease it? P.s planning to see my doc wknd, but before den what do i do oo? I work on a computer all day.

Romance / Re: How To Play A Guy by samyan12: 11:37am On Nov 06, 2013
Funny topic.
1. Lose all emotions, as emotions cloud reasoning. Revenge, desire, anger etc. U have to be more cold and calculating than he is.

2. Do not for any reason have sex with him. That's your power play, if u do that uve lost the game before it even started.

3. This will take some effort, but u hav to uncover the facade to know what the guy is like beneath the mask. If he's a player like u said, then he'll be two people, the player u know, and the other person he keeps well hidden

4. It is the second person that has to be your target. Find a way to draw him out, if u can hurt this other person, u've achieved your goal.

5. To be cont'd

@op, pls stop trying to be superwoman, if u need help ask for it. All these "dare not do this, dare not do that". U are just sentencing yourself to a lifetime of servitude and depression.

There is absolute nothing wrong with u asking uur hubby for help with some chores.
