airliner:Madrid isn't playing ATM and Sevilla in this season's LL again. They have played both legs already. |
Femich18:Lol... I don't see Barca getting maximum points against Sevilla and ATM, particularly ATM. |
EMXTAN1:Have you seen Madrid fixtures for the rest of the season? Betis is about the most difficult in the remaining fixture sef. |
Femich18:Barca will drop points. They'll be playing Sevilla, ATM, Villareal and Bilbao, among a host of other LL teams. |
AntiChristian:I usually don't comment on Islamic threads as I hate to swear to follow on god and his prophet. However, I just had to defy the odds to do so. 1. Psalms 150 mentions and talks about praising God with every known instrument in the world. 2. David danced recklessly before God that his robe fell off and his wife despised him. 2 Samuel 6:14-16 English Standard Version (ESV)Guess what happened to the one who despised David for 'dancing naked before his God'?. 3. All through the Old Testament, the people of Israel praised God with shouts, tambourines, harps, cymbals, trumpets, horns, etc. I get it, musical instruments are Haram in your religion but it shouldn't justify why you had to bring up wrong Bible passages as references. I could have ignore but thought to educate you. Counter Disclaimer: I know no Mohammed and do not recognise him as a servant of the living God. |
tsephanyah:The so called herdsmen are not the owners of the cattle they move around with, we all know this. So, whether or not they care about lands isn't the issue but how the government is fighting tooth and nail to sell RUGA to Nigerians. The question here is: 1. Why isn't Miyetti Allah and other cattle stake holders focusing on ranching? 2. Why does RUGA, a government initiative seemingly favour a cow rearing group that does not contribute nothing close 5% of our IGR? Where is the wisdom in spending taxpayers' monies on a group of people whose trade are solely private? 3. How about we talk about the sophisticated weapons they move around with and the military support they get? |
tsephanyah:Cattle rearing is a private business. It makes no sense to put up a governmental programme just to support some cattle rearing vampires when it won't favour others. The FG is quick to tag the whole thing herders-farmers crises when in fact herdsmen encroach, kill and maim. And we all know RUGA is an expansion move by the Fulanis. Trespassing in saner climes is a grave offence. The coverage, immunity and power that has been granted to herdsmen since Buhari's ascension will see the Fulani objective take ten steps backward when he leaves office as other ethnic groups would use their people in government to fight for themselves. |
The sensible thing for any nation to do right now is to place a ban on Chinese and Italians from coming into any country right now. It almost seems like these guys are aware that they are carriers and are diligently distributing the virus to other countries. |
Plan a trip, please. The idea is not just to cage yourself in some fancy hotel but changing the scenery on an occasion as this, is necessary. Depending on the depth of your pocket and budget. I'd recommend you: 1. Look up top resorts in your chosen choice destination and read reviews as some are actually horrible right now. Epe Resorts & Spa (special favourite) , La Campagne Tropicana, Eko Tourist Resort etc, are some examples. 2. Choose a beachfront destination. They are better suited for lovers. Lagos has some good beachfront hotels. The implication of this is they you might be cut off from malls and cinemas but it's worth it, if you ask me, and you can make up for this by stocking certain things. The resorts named are also beachfronts. OR 1. You could take a break from work that week and the possibility of her doing the same and just spend two or three days in the house, go to the movies, or do dinner dates at some fancy restaurants. There's one where you'll get a crazy three-course meal for 20k per person around Surulere. It's a fairly fancy place and owned by Chinese (scratches head ).2. Just move away from the house and use a 3-5 star Hotel with a pool for two nights. 3. Etc. As per presents, I'm not so big. The ladies will have better ideas. As a brother, I'd greatly work out the getaway if I were you though. ![]() PS: Travelling outside Nigeria at moment is a disaster, no thanks to Coronavirus. Cc bukatyne Ishilove |
eni4real:Another one who thinks he is clever by half. 1. THE WORLD CUP SILVER MEDAL ISN'T WON. IT IS GIVEN TO THE SECOND BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD CUP FINAL. YOU DON'T WIN IT! 2. SO WE ARE CELEBRATING COPA AMERICA THIRD PLACE NOW? SERIOUSLY 3. OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL WAS AT THE YOUTH LEVEL. I MENTIONED SENIOR NATIONAL SIDE! All what you mentioned count as rubbish, sir. Don't bore me, please. Mention a SPOON Messi won with the Argentinian senior national side or hold your peace and romance the L. |
Whobedatte:There is no such thing as 'best league in the world, according to UEFA'. I'm sure you are blabbing club coefficients here with crazy exaggerations. A 38 year old broke the scoring chart last season in Italy his name is quaglarielaTrue, but what you didn't say was that Ronaldo was the 4th on the goal scorer chart with just five goals between him and Fabio Quagliarella, the highest for the season. Ronaldo is being outscored this season by a 35 year old immobile .Lazio scores freely. Juventus is similar to Atleti. I'm sure you won't be dumb enough to compare Ings with Suarez just because the former has more goals so far. You didn't tell us Ronaldo set a Record at Juventus for scoring in ten consecutive matches. ![]() [s]Get your facts right and stop typing like a typical nigerian when it comes to making judgements .[/s]How about his UCL trophies while in Spain, and his goal records, including braces and hat tricks, while at it? Messi played in two consecutive copa America final and win the best player awardOde, so the world now celebrates the best player award in place of the eventual winner? [s] He won the world cup golden balk after dragging his team to the final .[/s] Ronaldo has never won the best player in a national team tournament EVERNo, he hasn't but I hope you are aware that Ronaldo is the first player to score in ten consecutive international tournaments? In the euro fimal - Eder was his saving GraceAnd in the Copa final, prior Brazil's Messi couldn't score a penalty to earn his side the Copa trophy. Sweet, sweet tears. ![]() Take your L in peace and bed wet without shame, oga. ![]() |
anonymous1759:This is Ekun Egbere reloaded ![]() 1. CR7 remains the highest UCL goal scorer of all time. 2. Lionel Messi only overtook Ronaldo's hattrick in the La Liga in December 2019, FIVE MONTHS AFTER RONALDO LEFT SPAIN! 3. The highest el clasico humiliation or score is 11-1 in favour of Madrid. Barca's 5-1 is in the past, just as the FC Barcelona spelling using 11 goals is in the past. 4. Messi scored more because he played more English teams in the last decade compared to Ronaldo. At the emboldened, it wasn't a bad night. It was an indication of a dead team. Barce was lucky not to have been beaten at the Camp Nou in December. You would have disappeared into thin space had Benzema and Bale converted one or two of their chances. In club football, Ronaldo has netted against 110 different opponents, with Sevilla (27 goals), Atletico Madrid (25), Getafe (23), Celta Vigo (20) and Barcelona (18) being his main victims. Got any questions? ![]() |
OlawaleBammie:True. Ever noticed how Ronaldo manages to score goals in Italy and ends up scoring double braces in Portuguese jersies? Ronaldo is fine as long as he doesn't experience a drought like Messi is experiencing a drought on away performance right now. Everyone knows he is getting old and his strength has dropped slightly. If the likes of Mbappe, Rodrygo, Vinicius, Haaland and these emerging youngsters don't snatch the Ballon d'Or next season, Ronaldo will sure have it. That I'm certain of. |
anonymous1759:Salty tears! ![]() One thing Messi cannot do is play outside Barcelona. At his peak, he didn't even win a spoon with the Argentina senior team and you're mouthing off about a player that has played in four different leagues and currently excelling at his fourth? Dude? Ronaldo plays in a league that is stiff tougher than the La Liga. While in Spain, Ronaldo was the only player that scored over 50 goals in five consecutive seasons and the first to score against every La Liga team in a single season before Messi matched the same the following season. Ronaldo is older than Messi but is still breaking record in tough league as the Serie A and still scoring goals. Do not submit to the devil and compare Messi to Ronaldo. The gap is HUGE by 50 kilometres! You guys call Ronaldo 'Penaldo' because he converts all his penalties. If Messi was good at converting penalties, he would have won a Copa America award instead of crying like a forest demon when he lost one to Chile in the Copa America final. Perhaps Sergio Ramos will soon be described as Penaldo for mastering the art of penalty. Nonsense. ![]() |
OlawaleBammie:Scoring in the La Liga is quite easy. So it is normal. |
Babaj145:Valverde. Bia add respek to the name. ![]() |
Whobedatte:One recurring pattern with sportsmen who have their FATHERS as their manager is that they end up in disaster quite often. Messi's stance on football vs Ronaldo's are miles apart. The latter takes football as a business and as a competition. The father, perhaps might have thought he won't enjoy the god-like status outside of Barcelona and his yansh would blow open pretty quickly. I honestly don't want to finger Bartomeu in all of these. All good things come to an end and I have seen football magicians exit the stage quite contrary to how they played and stood out over the years. Isn't it the height of disrespect that Ronaldo at the Bernabeu to watch the El clasico is more talked about than Messi's impact and performance on the pitch? His glory days are sure over... I sincerely wish someone can tell him to leave right now and ply his trade in the United States where he wouldn't do much and still be in the news for all the right reasons. |
shogsman:The longer he stays, the faster he'll deteriorate and lose the little that critics keep munching on. The president hired critics to 'attack him and the team', according to media reports, the other day, it was director Abidal and then there is Marca and other Spanish sports outlets. The criticisms will eat deep into his psyche sooner or later and it is best he leaves. This present crop of Barcelona players are highly untalented and lazy. The workload on Messi and the heap of expectations on him are just too much. |
Goal! Life is TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET |
Kenwood007:This is why I cherish Sofascore ![]() |
Madrid's confidence is scary. Passing like they bought Barcelona's boots ![]() |
khingTony:Eh yah... When Messi just got carded for a cynical foul ![]() |
Messi should salvage whatever is left and leave Barcelona. He is tired and older. It is normal to have bad moments but his critics always hold him responsible for an awful Barcelona outing. The dude has had an illustrious career and it would be a shame to see him end his career with constant, unfair criticisms when he should be talked about like a great. Perhaps it is the end of the tiki-taka era or just some clueless, bunch of average players hiding behind Messi. |
This Barcelona team is dead. |
Messi has been pocketed by this back tonight. Marcelo on overdrive! ![]() |
Barcelona will score. We are very notorious at giving up leads. |
Goal! |
shogsman:I am not assuming. NTA WAS THE ONLY STATION BROADCASTING THE UCL WAYYYY BACK and they only did important teams. IMPORTANT at the team were mostly Italian teams. He said he has been watching since 1994 when the best we had was seeing our DREAM TEAM play against top South American teams, up until 1996. Perhaps you should ask him the TV station's name where he saw his matches. Pray tell, on what radio station did your popsman listen about 50 years ago? Please don't mention Radio Nigeria or VOA. |
Being a Madridista with Benzema and Vinicius on the pitch is difficult. ![]() |
staga:This is one crazy lie. The Classics didn't berth in Nigeria and into people's consciousness up until 2004 when the likes of Marquez. I saw my first European football match in 1998 and el Clasico wasn't even a big deal in Nigeria at the time. Rather, the likes of Roma, Fiorentina, Juventus, the Milans and Madrid (all thanks to the Galaticos) were the only prominent non English teams at the time. Saying you saw your first classics in 1994 is too obvious a lie. |

I find it difficult to belive that the Lagos State commissioner of health, Professor Akin Abayomi actually referred to the coronavirus as 'Lassa Fever' in his tweet as seen on this thread. Are these people aware of whatever it is they have on their hands? He claimed the patient might soon be discharged as none of the people he (the victim) came in contact with have developed symptoms of '#LassaFever'. Discharging a supposed coronavirus victim when you can't even place the illness... Isn't that amazing? ![]()
