9jahotblog:Traffic referrals. Anything other than search engines is you courting trouble. The moment AdSense suspects your main traffic source is social media platforms or some other sites, your account will first experience ad limiting then get monitored before it will be disabled if it doesn't improve. |
meavox:Two different regions? It doesn't even make sense. |
DC49:If you love your AdSense account, stay away from referrals that are not purely search engines. Any other thing will land you into trouble and migjt have your account disabled. |
Lionqueen:The BIG 30! Don't take the rants of inexperienced people on here about what eventually becomes of a lady when she clocks 29 or 30. Improve on your weaknesses, enjoy your strengths and let people see them easily. A sensible dude will come around so long you don't prioritize fantasies. Happy birthday in advance. |
BOYLOVABLE1:Deactivate your Facebook account ASAP before she uploads and tags you and your siblings. This is the first time I'm reading or knowing guys also send nudes. ![]() |
Davash222:Actually, they are. Forget what you read in the news. The amount of failed attempts at kidnapping far outweigh the successful ones. The only set of kidnappers who are smart and sophisticated at it are those run by politicians and some big folks and that is because they are highly organized and well thought out. It is why you see them kidnap someone, demand N15m but end up collecting N85k. |
yettymuse:Horrible counsel. You sure know he'd feel entitled because his money is now making up for those moments he disappeared, right? Everything will change the moment he collects a dime from him and he will have a claim over the child because he has started 'spending'. |
Kingray10:Eminem is a legend, no doubt but how many of his songs can you play in a church or around your kids and elders? It's too early to jump when you don't understand Jack. And I very much doubt you are half the Em fan I am. |
NwaAmaikpe:This is wrong. Beyoncé, Eminem, MJ's 'Thriller', Taylor Swift's '1989', and even Jay Z have all won the Grammy Album of the year award. Most of the songs on their albums are club bangers, and widely accepted by younger generations. I can't imagine any of Jay Z's, and Eminem songs that will will be accepted by religious leaders. Most educated folks don't even understand Eminem's raps because he is always dissing the world and lacing his materials with double and triple entendres. The category is much more beyond acceptability and the class or category of people your album resonate with. Kidjo will still return and win another next year as always. Modified To those quoting and 'correcting' me about Beyoncé, Em, Jay Z et al, about not winning the world album of the year. NOTE THST I DIDN'T MENTION THE WORLD ALBUM OF THE YEAR BUT ALBUM OF THE YEAR. The criteria remains the same for both while the reach is the only difference. I cited them as winners of similar categories with club bangers as a response to the fellow who stated that your album must appeal to clerics, religious bodies and the UN to win the category. |
Burna Boy stood no chance the moment he was paired with Kidjo. There is something about her and her songs that are not just deep hut philosophical. But then, that isn't the essence of the category. The Grammy album of the year puts certain factors into account and that includes technical proficiency and overall excellence in the recording industry, without regard to album sales, chart position, or critical reception. If it were to be by the latter, Burna might have won because the African Giant album grossed quite well and had impressive reviews from crazy critics. Congratulations to Mama Kidjo. |
ignis:The person you quoted was referring to you but you didn't see it. The irony! |
lalajnr:Your family was wrong to have have asked a landlord to fix something in their room. They use it, and they are responsible for whatever repairs or damage is done save in situations whereby you saw the flaws before you moved in and you both had an agreement. Your landlord having a spare key to your family's apartment is worrisome. Perhaps you ask him to surrender the key to your family since they are the rightful occupants of the place for now. His reaction or response should guide you on the next thing to do. If you are suing, be sure you are actively house hunting. The simplest way to letting the sleeping dog lie is to have all the locks changed, preferably German locks. |
I have an HP 15-f010wm Touchsmart laptop I bought two years just eating up space. Specs 4 GB Ram 500 GB 15.6-inch Celeron N2830 All Screen Touch Issues It doesn't power (which was the reason I packed it away in the first place). There's a small pressure stain on the left hand side of the screen (just noticed today) Can't find its charger. I want to give it away for a reasonable amount. So, please make me an offer. More on the laptop can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/HP-Touchsmart-15-f010wm-15-6-inch-Celeron/dp/B00QE9UCZO |
Kobe Bryant? Jesus! What's going on?! |
messi042:Lol. Firstly, AdSense won't ask you to choose between CPC or CPM because it uses both. You get paid for clicks and also for impressions. The best way to make money from AdSense is not just with a specific ad unit but run tests on your blog to see what works best. Based on over-the-years personal experience, the most effective ad units is LINK ads. The typical 250X250 or 300X250 or whatever customized ad units you choose might work best for CPM and not necessarily clicks. Integration is another thing. It is not enough to place ads on your site just anywhere. You have to research and find this out yourself and understand the positions that work best. Again, YOU DON'T GET TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THE CPC or CPM model. Strangely, I don't know where you got your page views calculations from as it wrong. If your site generates 1,200 visitors according to Jetpack, it means you're more likely to record or have around 750-850 daily page views on AdSense. So your calculation is flawed. The reason for the above is because AdSense works through JS codes and its JS are often blocked by adblockers or tracker installed plugins or extensions which might prevent the JS from rendering properly on the user's browser. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to forestall or prevent that. Plus, your site has a higher of being rejected rather than get approved. Adsense is much more tougher now and contents such as jokes, quotes or whatever are not really considered as unique. |
ignis:One are one of the major problems of this country. The JAMB registrar warned this week that such centers should be reported. |
Osagyefo98:This is tasteless. Where is your sense man? |
FrLukas:On YouTube, Associated Press channel. You might want to start with 'Ojukwu Press Conference'. If you see the one prior the war, there should be suggestions of other videos within AP's archive. |
NgeneUkwenu:True. This is a court of law in question. If truth and justice is far from the court, then it can no longer be referred to as a haven for justice. |
Blindersoff:The added votes far exceeded the accredited voters count. That is the bone of contention and not how he won. The figures do not add up. |
ChiSomtoChi:You do believe in cause and effect, right? |
CaveAdullam:I used to think the Nigerian Government was unfair during the war based on the hearsays but I had a sudden turn around about the whole thing when I dug deeper just to know the truth. I was born in the West and lived in the East for four years. An interesting thing worthy of note is that a young Igbo dude who has never been to the West and probably never encountered a Yoruba man before will cleanly profile and tell you about the nature of the Yoruba man. It wasn't too long that I figured that imaginary truths are being handed down from generation to generation. The claim is that the Yorubas betrayed the East during the war as Awolowo promised them soldiers. Awolowo wasn't even in the military! Oil was the primary reason for the war. The orchestrated coup was a 'take our destiny into our hands kind of coup. I'll do a detailed thread that will include videos and not narratives from any Nigerian. Videos of Brits and Americans who captured the moment and what went down, as well as their opinions. The unholy alliance of the North and South started with Azikiwe, just to spite the Western region. The latter just became a political savvy overnight and mastered the game better than its originator. |
Reichel99:Good Lord! Seriously!? |
stapes:I have always echoed this over the years. The only people Northerners fear in Nigeria is the South West, which is why they constantly look up to them as the long unifying rod of the South. The day the South says no to Nigeria, that is the day the country will either work towards secession or federalism. |
Area4Area:Very true. Whether or not they avoid it isn't even the concern but certain myths that are fast becoming realities in their world. Ojukwu could have worked with Boro but he didn't. He could have worked with Nzeogwu but he didn't as he considered him his junior in rank. Azikiwe could have worked with Ojukwu to secure the region but he was more concerned with seizing the West. Interestingly, Ojukwu nursed the same by advancing his soldiers in that direction before he was pummeled at Ore. Kanu could have worked with Uwazuruike and this other Zion dude but no, they all want to chase individual glory and come out as the one who changed the course of history. The level of greed and lust surprises even the devil. |
Magicians:I don't want to dwell on the weapon of starvation as warfare the Nigerian Government used on the then Eastern region. I honestly don't. I wish I could re-upload the Associated Press videos on my laptop and then share the links but last time I tried, they were removed from YouTube immediately on violation grounds. Below are some things to take away from the clips: 1. Ojukwu's 'world press' conference prior the war saw him boasting that the Nigerian government would be surprised. He grinned and stroked his beard in the interview which had so many white pressmen around him. He claimed food had been saved to last his people for so long. This video is still on YouTube, on AP's channel. 2. Ojukwu's mercenaries from Sweden and Belgium trained and worked with the Biafran soldiers and left months after he had no money to pay them. This is also on AP's channel. 3. When the Nigerian Army blocked Port Harcourt, Ojukwu knew he had been dealt a major blow but went on and food ran out among the people. Whatever food was left got stashed in Ojukwu's mansion on his order. From there, he feed only his family and the family of his high-ranking soldiers. Taken down from AP's channel. I saw it at some point but couldn't find it again. Fortunately, it was part of the videos I downloaded on the war from AP's channel. 4. With no food and farms destroyed, the people resorted to feeding off corpses. It started with enemy soldiers until it became almost all corpses. There is a video of how this started on AP's channel. 5. Famine in the Eastern region took a different dimension when younger boys would go very far into war territories to look for corpses. As it became dangerous to proceed, the younger ones felt it more. The war could have been ended on account of the people but Ojukwu immediately asked the white press men attached to his mansion to do another world press conference and a documentary of the starving children. It would later be sent to Europe. The initial goal was to get the military and support from certain European countries. This should still be available on AP's channel. 6. The UN rallied and sent several aids through drop planes to the Eastern region and also missionaries who set up a refuge camp to look after the starving people. I'm sure we've all seen this one video. 7. Ojukwu wanted to use the UN drop planes to bring in more weapons which the UN didn't agree to. The UN claimed it only render aids and not take part in wars. An obviously frustrated and angry Ojukwu barred UN planes from bringing food and medical supplies as he perceived the UN as an enemy since they weren't willing to 'help his people'. To cover this, he sacked all white press men attached to his mansion as they started negative reporting against Ojukwu and the AP claimed 'he was more interested in his ego than his people'. This video should still be on YouTube. A further indictment by the FBI some years ago fingered Ojukwu and Gowon as the primary culprits responsible for the death of several. 8. Ojukwu's last blow was the advancement of his army to 'seize Lagos'. Unfortunately, he was dealt a heavy blow at Ore and that accounted as his major defeat and the decisive loss that led to his fleeing surrender. 9. Meanwhile, Azikiwe had just one goal; to capture Western Nigeria through his NCNC and become the most powerful politician in the South. It was what led to the Awolowo forming the Action Group, to not only checkmate Azikiwe in the West but end Ibo domination. Did Awolowo succeed? Hell yes! https://www.google.com/amp/s/businessday.ng/columnist/article/the-1951-elections-how-awolowo-forced-azikiwe-out-of-western-nigeria/amp/ |
MartinCorridon:Nothing in the article is new to me. Like I have tons of videos from Associated Press prior the war, build up to war and even post war (which many people know). The Brits planned out what they thought was best for Nigeria but the North and West never wanted the country while Azikiwe championed the Nigerian cause. I constantly revisit the secession speech of Azikiwe and can't help but curse the man when I do. Had the North been allowed to secede and the West find its way, there wouldn't have been a Nigeria today and these complex problems we have wouldn't have seen the light of day. Below is Azikiwe's speech when he read the riot act to the North and possible dangers of what would happen. https://nigerianwiki.xyz/nnamdi-azikiwes-secession-speech-of-1953/ Was it because Azikiwe loved the North? No! His idea of national cohesion was founded on dependence. Oil had not been discovered at the time. The North had the ground nut pyramids and dedicated farming life. The West had massive cash crop reserves, the Mid-West had rubber and Palm Oil and the Eastern region was largely coastal with palm oil as their main. Azikiwe and Ironsi both fashioned out that a central government would see that there would be even distribution of these resources from the other areas. The North were comfortable with being alone and so was the West. Sadly, it wasn't too long from then that oil was discovered in Oloibiri. The same Ojukwu who led military power to the Delta to arrest Boro found it convenient to declare Biafra after an Igbo coup backfired. The rest today is history. One take away from the whole thing was politics, greed and more greed. Had Azikiwe and Ironsi had the foresight Balewa and Awolowo had, we wouldn't be caught up in this present Nigeria. |
IgboSomalia:Calm down ![]() Let us recover from Eminem's 'Godzilla' first ![]() |
Lamanii22:Don't be too quick on the emboldened. One of my relationships started on 2go and it lasted over four years. The roadside, school, church, the market, on social media, etc, any of these can be a start and it doesn't guarantee or imply it wouldn't work out. I mean, we meet family friends with different orientation from ours and come to a conclusion that it can't work out. His errors were the signs he ignored and his strength he overestimated. |
Dsimple:I totally understand your position. However, you might take her up on theft but since you said you guys still talk often, I'd suggest you just let it slide as it is somewhat obvious the spark hasn't totally died off. You said something in one of your posts which I feel it is needless to quote. The problem wasn't because you met her on social. We meet people everyday and I met some of the best people in my life on this very forum, just as I met some that are not so blessed up there. My point is, due diligence wasn't checked and it came down hard on you. If you are marrying a girl from a broken home, be sure her father didn't mess up so bad that her motto is 'men are scum' and her mother didn't train her to become a cold fish around guys. I'm sorry but I personally classify ladies like that and those who suffered huge heartbreaks that make them suspect their new man as cheats as 'condemned'. They obviously don't, can't and won't make good partners as they will always be skeptical and resent the next poor dude. It isn't worth the stress. She didn't play a fast one. Just believe you let go for your kid's sake |
Ladylite:I don't comment on certain issues for some reasons but this comment of yours makes no sense. It isn't like they are fighting or something. The problem is lack of creativity and insensitivity and you you find it convenient to say he should court and date her to have her open up. Like someone said, some of you modern girls ehn, God help you all. |
Dsimple:The head is off already. All that is left is 'had I known'. The signs were there, you saw it but you ignored and thought she'd change for you. At this point, it is safe to see yourself as a sperm donor. Her family seems messed up but love didn't make you see this until marriage opened your eyes. Perhaps you send your family to meet her mother and request for your child or you go the legal way. In the end, you'll have to spend to pursue this if you desperately want the child. |
