how did Romney seal the deal
Romney voted to have Trump convicted. It is shocking to find a Republican go the Pelosi way. Strangely, Romney's niece, Ronna McDaniel, publicly came out against the uncle.

The trial end should have laid all drama to rest but Romney just stoked another. It is a big deal right now but Twitter is sizzling. Trump is already ranting and calling for Romney's resignation.

she's right. dunno why you're laughing. It's a ground for annulment of the marriage. she needn't seek a divorce, why ? he deliberately tricked her into the marriage. Knowing he cannot consummate the marriage.
No, she is not. There are many grounds for divorce and annulment in the world today but saying a union founded on lies is 'automatically null and void' is hilarious.

Who voids or annuls it here? Last I checked, there are hundreds of thousands of unions founded on lies and deceit and some are still standing today. I know one personally and it's because they both had the strength to forgive.

I am not defending the OP but saying but withholding certain information such as body counts, abortion counts, etc all count and people deliberately withhold some of these information for fear of having whatever they had called off.

There is no such thing as automatic annulment. Last I checked, no such law was put in place.

Perhaps I wouldn't find it funny if she said it was her limit.

I long predicted this. The Democrats have the HoR in the bag while Republicans have the Senate. It was never rocket science and all of Pelosi's huffing and puffing is for nothing.

Now that Trump's impeachment trial is over, Pelosi will now be dragged on Twitter by Trump himself. Romney sealed the deal in all of this.

Whatever your reasons are for not telling her holds no water. You established the relationship on a lie and deceit and it is somewhat hilarious that you are not sure whether or not you are getting the same treatment right now.

While I don't want to authoritatively assert that she cheated, I feel your best chance right now is to wait after nine months and run a DNA test on the child, albeit secretly (for your sake and hers).

On a lighter note, you probably should get sewing threads of different colours, say five, tie them simultaneously around a long broom or a long nail. Rub it against the dirt or sand to make it look dirty a bit and cook up a story about some practice in your parent's lineage. Ask her to confirm you own the pregnancy over the jargon you made, but not without warning her of the grave consequences. Your truth will come out. grin

Last, last, you both are truly meant for each other.

Amotolongbo:
Federal Government financing partly or wholly the community police had defeated the concept and idea of community policing.

1 This is just like duplicating the functions of the conventional police in operation by the federal government.

2 The idea of community police is to eliminate the sole control of the federal government in the security of the states and regions at large. How is it possible to do that if the federal government still finances the scheme?
This is the scheming of the presidency, no doubt. The goal is for each state to take care of its local security and secure its territory but the presidency somewhat found a way around it by not only investing but also increasing the NPF in size.

It is not just duplicating the functions of the police, it is recruiting police officers who will not likely be paid and still fall under the police directly.

The man at the centre is not ready to let go of the wheel even when he is clearly incapable.
Politics › Re: Community Policing Gets N31m, South-west Govs, IG Meet Thursday by Sanchez01(op):
Buhari clearly does not have plans for the security issues plaguing Nigeria and is no way interested. A miserly N31M for procurement of 'tools', supposedly kits when Buhari and Osinbajo earmarked N3.3B for foreign and local trips for 2020 alone!

The concept of community policing is defeated if funds and resources are provided by the Federal government. The South West governors should take charge of their community policing by investing in the project greatly, and reject the meddling and assistance of the Federal government.

Left to this present government, they'd rather Fulani Herdsmen run people over and hoist their cursed flags everywhere.
Politics › Community Policing Gets N31m, South-west Govs, IG Meet Thursday by Sanchez01(op): 1:21pm On Feb 05, 2020
The Federal Government has budgeted N31.08m for procurement of tools for community policing activities in 2020.

Check by The PUNCH in the Federal Government’s 2020 budget showed the provision for the expenditure under the Ministry of Police Affairs’ estimates.

Although the budget did not state items to be procured for community policing, it simply said the funds were meant for procurement of tools.

But there were indications on Tuesday that the Federal Government had yet to release funds for the implementation of the community policing scheme.

It was gathered that the delay in the release of the money was partly responsible for the slow take-off of the policy which was meant to complement the conventional police in tackling the insecurity in the country.

The Federal Governent had last month directed the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to begin the process of recruiting constables for the community policing scheme.

On January 23, Adamu, in a wireless message to state commissioners of police, ordered them to liaise with traditional rulers and community leaders with a view to setting up screening committees for the recruitment.

There have been discondant tunes at state police commands as some said they had begun the recruitment, while others said they were awaiting guidelines from the Force Headquarters.

But sources in the police told one of our correspondents on Tuesday that funds for training and purchase of accoutrements for the 40,000 volunteers that would be engaged ought to have been released to the police by the Ministry of Finance.

The source said, “We need money for their kits which would be provided by us. The special constables’ shoes, belts, batons would all be provided by the police. So these are all tied to the release of funds.

“I believe the police high command has submitted a budget for the policy implementation, but we are yet to get a kobo from the finance ministry. This is part of the reasons for the slow pace of the implementation.”

Sadly for her, Facebook ban is on IP-level, meaning she'd get banned again if she tries to create another Facebook account with the same phone. Counsel her and walk her through other means of getting free likes and shares plus reactions on Facebook.

I hate nagging husband undecided
You think it's easy caring for kids and the home while one person sits in one place giving orders?
You are just being paranoid!
I bet if you should switch role in a day, you will collapse!
Lastly, mind the way you talk to your wife in front of your children. For your daughter to report the mum to you for chastisement is outrightly disrespectful and means she can't trust the mother to take care of them. Don't encourage her! Immediately she brought the tale to you, the least you could have done is to tell her, mummy has her reasons and not to bother then you can correct your wife in your bedroom without the children hearing!!
So far, this is the most senseless comment I have sense in respect to any post on the forum as far as 2020 is concerned.

Some of you wonder why you can't hold down meaningful relationships... Well, the answer is right here.

In today's world where rap.ing a child is a daily occurrence, particularly in Nigeria and you think a family man nags his wife over his wife's handling of their kids, particularly with strangers?

Sincerely, your comment on this issue is befuddling.

Nigerians in Wuhan and other parts of China shouldn't be allowed to return to Nigeria for now as we don't have the means to tackle the virus!

As an underdeveloped nation, it is unwise to allow them back. I recall how we tackled the Ebola virus, infected persons had to run away from their homes for FEAR OF BEING QUARANTINED!

We are still battling Lassa infection right now and we can't even tackle it properly.
Family › Re: I Need Advice by Sanchez01(m):
You're clearly not ready and it is only ideal to let her go, lest she pushes you so hard into desperation.

Knowing that you're just about going for service will make things difficult. Not only will you have to save a lot just to tick the bride price list, you must be financially stable and should have an apartment and some basic things in that apartment. And add a steady job to the mix to be able to sustain the union.

Love shouldn't be the only motivation for marriage. It constitutes a tiny fraction of the whole marriage equation while money and maturity takes the larger chunk.

Don't put pressure on yourself unnecessarily.

We are therefore pleading with the Nigerian government to please rescue us from this situation, as we are ready to appease their fears by:

1. Being tested and quarantined on arrival
2. Fund our travel expenses.

We are humans, people who are citizens of a great nation who do not deserve to be publicly sentenced to death by a country we are proud of.

Front Page please, and help us.
Quite saddening, right now, your position but the truth is that Nigeria is not equipped to tackle outbreaks let alone one that is viral.

In the past one week, my thoughts have been tilting towards post-apocalyptic sci-fi movies and can't help but think we have to brace up.

The long and short of this is that it would be unwise for a country as Nigeria to evacuate her citizens from a viral outbreak territory as it will spread more than wildfire since we don't have the necessary tools to not only curb it but also a possible way of slowing down the virus.

You guys are on your own right now. And I doubt the government would want to gamble and risk the lives of over 180 million people just because they want to leave the 99 behind and go in search of one. This is harsh and insensitive but it is the undiluted truth.

We are still battling Lassa Fever right now and cannot afford to add another.

Something is wrong with you, sir, no apology. He isn't doing the government's work. And Nigeria is a secular state. And as much as I am Christian, Oyedepo's visit is always about money.

The money he makes from preaching the Word stays and remains with him and would most likely be used to fuel his lifestyle, after the acquisition of four private jets and an helicopter.

In 2014, he was chased out of the UK over corruption issues. Oyedepo represents himself.

Maybe he didn't pray enough.

Heaven was, however, let loose, when the obviously flustered preacher and businessman, created scene whilst querying the grounds for his refusal.

Insider said he told the embassy he had been traveling to the states as far back as 1980s and had not violated any rules or committed any crime to have warranted being denied a renewal of his visa.

According to the source, he immediately sent for his bodyguards to get his phones so he could make some calls, but the embassy allegedly told him he could not make calls within the precincts of the visa-issuing section of the embassy.
Always angry and temperamental for no reason. Later, he'll call it 'Holy anger'.

Note to those who call on the god of one pastor to answer their prayer. That of the pastor is yet to be answered but then you find it convenient to go through him when you can access God directly. Call it Hero Worship.

Exactly. AdSense is all about QUALITY TRAFFIC (not the tier but source). Invalid traffic, to AdSense is one from other sites to your website. They are not entirely bad. For example, I get a fair amount of social traffic because my contents are shared from my blog and people follow through but the fact remains that the social traffic is, say 5/100 of my traffic. When it is way over or around 30% of your traffic is when it becomes trouble.

Anyone can get traffic these days and Google understands that. But the kind of traffic fit for AdSense is search engine traffic.
