Reasons why you will never understand the tfare pattern is because people are hording information. Imagine we are just getting to know that people were paid on 12th. But I don't think there is any link. |

Urbanist2050: From Nairaland alone I'm sure we can collate more than 20 Lagos alertees. If you have the contact of people you interviewed with ask them tell them to ask others they know of the same date. The reply should be "not yet". Even here on nairaland nobody has. So where are they?? If I mention 6th plenty people will signify here that they have received Tfare. Just let's pray I don't think Tfare has anything to do with APL .GT though |

illocution: Ok guys let's continue the experience gist since no one will see it as "expo" this time knowing interviews are over.
I got to the towers in high spirit on my said interview date about 2 hours before my interview time and then stepped down frm the car majestically like it was mine las las na Bolt i control . On getting to the entrance, one no joy lady asked my scheduled time and without wasting time used her hand to pass further instructions; "Go and join your mates under the tree was the glaring message". I jeje followed instructions; got there and did one or two hookups (no time oo).
Fast foward to my interview proper.
"Panel 29" i heard from the very friendly but mouthed man at the theatre. I jumped up and after confirmation, I alongside 2 others were ushered out. (At this point the boy don down plenty water and body still dey hot ). I quick ask the lady for rest room and three of us enter. "You look good" a staff i met in the rest room altered and with a smile i said thank you sir. At last we got there and one of the interviewers came out collected our files, went back in and after few minutes he waz back and gbagam i heard my name. "today na today" i whispered to myself but las las we go they alright. I entered met a panel of 6 with just one Lady. The secretary of my village pipo whispered "Sit down" thank God i asked d Holy Spirit to lead, i said lie lie i refuse to sit . Then d Lady said "sit", (after i greeted them though). keeping a smiles ganished with tension and a little touch of uncertainty, i sat.
The lady took the lead, she was nice asked how my trip went, the meaning of my name, how i wouldn't be able to hide my state frm my name. Then another man asked the meaning of a closely related name and again the third man asked his. I was relaxed and gave them the answers and how the names were either for males or females. Then they all introduced themselves and the lady politely requested that i tell them about myself, which i did and in the process i told them my current places of work which the Lady waz cool with (reasons i don't know). then the president of my village pipo struck. As i wan sell myself, i added that i was a fast learner and a good listener and gbagam, the tough man in the panel who was before now on call heard it and said " You are a fast learner abi?" (With no smile oo) at that point the boy knew he had bleeped up . But the Holyspirit was still in charge anyways, I quickly made him understand what i meant calmly and he still asked, how did you know you pay attention to details? I gave my answer and all others were smiling. Then the first question came from him. What is your take on technology and how do u think it has affected the world. Gbagam fr my mind i no see this one for anywhere bfr i come oo... wetin happen to questions abt nnpc n how i can impact na?. But las las i guess it came because of the nature of my job they saw. I was able to answer calmly and then he personalized the question to me n i started by saying the fact that i have the opportunity to stand before them or even know anytin abt the coperation is the help of technology. They all smilled except the boss that asked. At some point he asked if they could call me... i waz smilling thinking it was a joke, bt they all deliberated and coined a title for me frm my experience(which they found interest in) and then wrote it down. There was another question from him and then a team work situational question frm anoda member.
The HSE man then took a deep breathe and commended me for speaking very well before asking his HSE question. i initially interpreted d question to mean what i knew abt safety and after much explanation, the tough man said their interest is how i tke safety measures as an individual not my general knowledge on safety n i had to start all over, this time personalizing my answer.
I did see the youngest in the panel who sat behind me raise a tag with 10 on it while i was talking... Maybe it's for dressing (not certain) and again i saw the first two marks of 1 of the panel members which were 20 and 19, bt didn't see others except when he wrote 8 down after i answered the HSE question. I don't really know how many marks the Safety question carries. The lady spoke last asking me if i had any question fr them, i commended them and asked what next after now. The Hausa man in the panel smilled and asked if the process hasn't been smooth since it started and i answered that i have been very impressed he then said i shouldn't worry that the process will continue like that and that i will be contacted soon. I thanked them, keeping my smile and the youngest panelist said he would walk me to the elevator point since the usher wasn't present, which he did and on our way he shaked me and said "You did very well" i thanked him. But deep down i knew the Holy spirit was incharge. Las las i reach block D krest my account details then control my bolt guy . Telling myself i will be back soon.
In all of this, like i typed when i dropped 8 A. M answers here with my now deactivated acct, no matter the number of questions my efforts cannot answer, "It has been settled"... It is not about your effort alone. What anyone think of God, luck or whatever; i repect, but my own be say APL go come and i will celebrate myself and my soon to be colleagues here.
Meanwhile anyone with info abt how they scored or those who saw theirs could share.
Make una no curse me oo as usual i no they reply, i no get power to fight. God bless us all. I also interviewed with panel 29 on 4th there was no lady there. Guess they do change . |

wanochieli: I agree with you, but then if its not a rumour, it could be that 14,000 actually passed, but the 75% cut off could be for a particular state, or maybe section of the country, possibly the west or east, na dem dey too sabi book... Lol...Cos I read here on nairaland that in 2011 recruitment, cut off was 60% for the South and 40% for the North...
but then, like I said, its only a rumour.. No Panic why will the north be given a lower pass mark!! aren't we all graduates, if it's 75% for the south it should be 75% for the north. If they don't meet up with the pass mark, replace them with southerners full stop. |

Ricodine: The test wasn't cheap o, it's only fair! The 10AM batch, I'm sure we can testify that there was a particular Simple Interest question that the answer wasn't there among the options. The current affairs nko? E bin get as e be!
Questions bordering on the fraction of Africa to the total land mass of the earth. Who wasn't a past premier of Nigeria (I gallantly failed that one, the answer was supposed to be Aminu Kanu, I went for Dennis Osadebey). What the administrative head of the Nigerian Senate is called. Who invented the light bulb (here, they intentionally didn't feature the popular Thomas Edison in the options and I banged the answer again). What the Chief Law Officer in Nigeria is called (here again, they gave tight options such as Chief Judge, Chief Justice, the Attorney General of the Fed republic of Nigeria which was the answer). Who coined the concept of neocolonialism? I thought it was Nelson Mandela due to his fight against apartheid, not knowing that it's Nkrumah of Ghana. Date British took over RNC and the year it came to an end. The year the Soviet Union collapsed and then the very delicate one that asked for the major impediment of Nigeria development since 1960 (the notable options were, bad leadership, corruption, and overdependence on crude oil... Which would you have picked? )
The English part nko? Like what's the opposite of option? But overall, the questions were fair, you never had to rack your brain that much. In all, God's grace is what we ask for! Nawaoo, una questions eer |
