Thanks.. I know I've always disliked beef but then with time goat meat joined, then chicken and turkey followed.. The fish I love so much is now on the list

I've been trying to check up many other protein sources that are not animal based.. God help me.

For over 5 years now, I rarely eat any kind of meat because there's this strange feeling of guilt within me whenever I'm cutting or chewing meat.. I suddenly begin to imagine the animal being alive and the thought of that alone makes me nauseous.
However, I do eat different kinds of fishes and eggs. The annoying thing is my mind is beginning to bother me again concerning this one that I've been managing to enjoy.

For few days now, I've been craving banga soup so I decided to prepare it today. I bought all the ingredients I needed and I chose to use catfish, I bought a big one to enjoy myself very well.
After offloading on getting home, I decided to prepare my catfish for the cooking. Picked a knife to complete the half cutting that was done in the market, as I touched the fish, I noticed it was still pulsating after over 30mins of purchase. It really broke my heart and I became so emotional. I thought of just throwing it away but then I just poured a handful of salt over it and left the kitchen.
After about 30mins, I went back and managed to complete the preparation and then the soup..

The thing now is I've completely lost appetite for the meal I've been craving for just because of this.

Is like I'd start working towards becoming a vegetarian and I hope it's going to be an interesting venture..

Who else experiences this? How do you cope with such feelings?

All I know is the girl wasn't observant.

I once went on a date with a guy I met on this platform, I could sense it that the guy was trying to impress me, not like he had much and I feel somehow bringing out my money to buy something when I'm in company of a man (this might be because I've mostly been involved with guys that know what masculinity is about).
After some little expenses here and there, he decided we should go get a nice meal. We got to the restaurant, a plate of food was about 5k, I just told him I don't really have appetite for food at that moment that I'll eat small from his own and that was what I did.. He insisted on me getting my own but then, I could see the relief on his face. Not like I wouldn't be able to pay for the meal but I see it as an insult to the guy..

It's exactly 1 year today....
