Thanks, I just want to be sure that its acceptable by CIC if its done this way. See the below from CIC website.

Pardon me, but you know one has to be very careful with these things to avoid story that touch. lol

If you live outside of Nigeria:
You should apply by mail to the Commissioner of Police (see Special notes and considerations for complete address). You must send:

A pre-paid return courier envelope
A copy of your passport
A set of fingerprints taken and certified by a recognized police authority or the Nigerian embassy or consulate
An international money order payable to the Nigerian Police Force, CID

Yes it is. The form has panels where you have to finger print. Just get an ink pad and print in the appropriate space.

Fight ke. I'm the last guy that'll get into an online fight, there's nothing to be gained from it.

I was actually being sarcastic with the "what if I told you" thing (search Lawrence Fishburne's internet meme) but I guess not everyone gets it.

Good luck with your investments.

Mr man! If u don't av an answer to the qustns asked it wld be polite to just keep shut. When did u even start trading on TB? I only asked for the next TB auction coz my last stake matured a day after the primary market auction and wld want to knw if there wld be an auction this coming week or if I av got to wait for the usual 2wks interval. If I had the calendar for the year I won't av asked. So pls not all who ask qstns here are novice and even if they are, there are better ways to tell them to read thru previous post than trying to tongue lash them. Pls do learn some manners, OK?

Considering the calendar has been posted more than a hundred times on this thread, I say "kwantinue"

Oh and mr manners, kindly tell me how the following can be construed as "tongue lashing"

What if I told the three of you that your questions have been answered in the first 10 pages of this thread.

I won't be surprised if the next post is "please how do I go about TB".

Actually @ 40manlaapy, Is there any reason why someone with a higher CRS score than the draw today shouldn't get an ITA?

where were you when we were buying 364 days Tbills at 9% some moons ago? grin

unite4real:

Its not a joke. Look at demand and supply. Well, just like feelamong stated, we have been there when rates were 9%. I have even bought far below 9% in the past. The reason i have always referred to the over 18% as happy times. Just swallow the pills, for happy times are over but may come again sometimes in the future.

You guys are right. Seems party time is over.

The FGN bond at 14.8% is starting to look like a good idea now.

Looking at past trends, I think a draw next week is more likely.

Please when I calculated mine, I didn't get up to 67, was about 64/100, but when I did the other one, I got 435, am I still eligible as I didn't get up to 67?

Well, you have to meet the eligibility criteria first which is the (67/100) one. Until you have fulfilled that criteria can you then submit an expression of interest. Use the come to canada tool to check you eligibility correctly

My transcript status is showing accepted in WES online. What does this mean. Also my school said they sent acopy of my degree result to WES. But WES status for degree result is "not received" how do I handle this.
House pls put mouth. Good morning.

If it shows "accepted" it means WES has taken receipt of the said document and has verified same to authentic.

"Not received" means exactly that.WES has not received the said document. Perhap, you should allow for some time between when your school send it and when WES receives it.

Yes ooo. IELTS is the bomb plus having 3yrs or more work experience. Certificates and degrees dey follow for back. Na for naija here we dey fight say Bsc graduate is higher than HND graduate. I was humbled when I saw that HND graduates are rated higher than Bsc graduates according to CIC and even WES. Our government and institutions should have a rethink about HND/Bsc dichotomy.

True words. To be fair, I actually thought HND/BSc are equal and that was the premise of previous comments. Perhaps, it's high time university graduates from Naija (myself included) started to reconsider our BSc superiority complex like you rightly suggested.

Good luck with your application man

You be baba na. MSc alone gets more point than two or more certificates put together under the Human Capital Factor. But the real joker is maxing out the 100points under skill transferrability (with great IELTS scores and 3yrs work experience). Msc alone OR two or more certificates will carry 100/100

I think the real joker is the IELTS because it earned me the max 50 each on foreign work and education (for skill transferrability) like you rightly pointed out . I think most people here underestimate IELTS and ascribe more weight to degrees whereas the opposite is the case.

Please what is the minimum score for express entry now?

There is no fixed minimum score, the pool changes from time to time and the cut-off mark for each rounds of invitation is at the sole discretion of the minister. The last one was 433 and the penultimate was 435.

Here is an online CRS calculator

https://www.canadavisa.com/comprehensive-ranking-score-calculator.html

Input you data and it generates your score

NB: I consider it accurate because the score it gave me was the same I got on my EE profile

Cheers

CAstruggle:
On the profile builder if you enter 2 BSc, one after the other. It will automatically calculate it as two or more certificates, degrees or diploma.

Dont forget you need to enter details for each study separately one after the other and also state whether or not you have done ECA for it.

I evaluated a BSc and Diploma and it earned me two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees on my EE profile

I believe its only applicable to spouse

I don't know about that. But what I'm sure of is if you entered MSc and BSc or PhD and MSc, you'll only get the score for the highest degree ( In the above example, MSc or PhD, respectively).

As to the bolded. I don't even think that's logical because someone with a PhD by that logic will earn 150 (PhD)+ 135 (MSc) + 120 (Bsc) points. That is over 400 CRS points alone from education alone, that is surely not how it works.

For PA or Spouse?

Sorry, I was wrong. Apparently OND/HND count as two degree while BSc/MSc doesn't. My comment was based on the latter which isn't the case for the former.

Sorry for the mix up.

Ogbeni Santino1, we are all here to learn and it will be good for u to humble yourself and learn. Yes, u will not expressly see the 'two or more degree' but after u input ur various qualifications and answer yes to if you have ECA for each of ur qualification the next drop down is to select what your ECA says ur credential is. All u have to do is select 2yr diploma against OND and select 3yrs certificate, diploma or degree against HND. Submit ur profile and u will be full of smiles when u see d CRS points CIC will allocate to ur education. Tested and trusted.

Hope this helps.

Alright, my bad then... When I entered my MSc and Bsc, I got the same score as I would have if I had entered just MSc. Hence, I thought the same is applicable for OND/HND in view of the fact that one is 2 and the other is 3 years (just like MS and BS).

Once again, my bad.

Omo.. Calm down and learn. ND plus HND is higher that the highest qualification here. So bring in B. Sc won't make any difference and it will cost more cash.

I hope you are aware the "two or more degree" option is no longer available on the profile builder. Before you tell someone to calm down, why don't you ensure you are up to date first.

This assertion is misleading.
You would get the highest point if you evaluate OND+HND.
Wh

How exactly is it misleading? It's public info, you get only the point for your highest degree. If you like do ECA from primary school leaving certificate until BSc, you'd only get the point for the BSc.

Hi Everyone, I have been a monitoring spirit for almost forever... I need view from the senior citizens i mean the veterans in this regard.

Profile: Cyber security and ICT Professional.
I posses ND, HND Computer science and Bsc Economics
Can i do ECA using ICES for just my HND and Bsc to get the maximum point and leave out the ND.

My IELT exam is in October by the way.

You only need an ECA for the highest degree earned. In your case, you should only have BSc assessed.

I know. I have Naira denominated T-Bills to service my Naija expenditures. However, My Euros have not been earning money. They are just sitting in my bank account and I for one hate my money to sit idle. You know the saying "You use money to make money".

The Middle Seat Gets the Arm Rest

There is no question about this, the person sitting in the middle seat has sole ownership of the arm rest. This is because, the middle seat can already be quite uncomfortable and restricting, so it’s quite unfair to make it worse for the person by the depriving him/her of the comfort of resting his/her hands on the arm rest.plane-travel/

Totally untrue. There are number of arm rests corresponding to the number of seats (e.g. 3 arm rests for 3 seats row etc). It is therefore unreasonable for the middle occupant to seize the arm rest from the windows and aisle guys.

Everything else is spot on.
