@hephgirl, I think you should dive in as others have suggested. Maybe the following stats will convince you: As at the last draw, the CRS breakdown is as follows: 601-1200 : 204 candidates 451-600 : 648 candidates 441-450 : 262 candidates 431-440 : 1398 candidates Total candidates with CRS score 431-1200 : 2512 Total invitations at the last round :2757 (including people from other streams) Now, for sure at least 1114 candidates (441-1200) have left the pool (i.e. got ITA). Since we don't know how many that replaced them, that's a big toss up. But looking so far at the projected CRS of people after the recent IELTS (data I got from Immtracker, nairaland and cav). It's safe to bet that the minimum score for ITA at the next round will be in the 430s. Based on the above, I think you should dive in and besides what have you got to lose? Good luck. 6 Likes |

elfmann: Sorta. While VO request only tells you the VO your file has been assigned, GCMS details all your application history and details. Sorry, I didn't make that clear in my previous post. |

Kontagious: I know but why give yourself high BP over something you cannot control. As for me and myself, Na siddon look I dey so, I estimated the whole process to take about 6 months and only after then will I start to get worried. To answer your question, BG IP2 indicates your file has been successfully transmitted by the CIO and your case has been opened at the VO. 2 Likes 1 Share |

MippiShick: I also had the same issue. I modified my post ITA form to reflect how much I have currently (backed by my SOA) and submitted. I already got a message that I passed medicals. I don't think it's a problem but this is just my opinion seeing as my application is still in progress. 2 Likes |

balogunsam: Sorry man, OND, HND (Diplomas in general) are out of my realm. However, based on what I've read on this thread so far, he/she/it would have been better off evaluating OND and HND as that would have given more points than just the BSc that was evaluated. Wait for the senior men and women to offer a more robust suggestions. Sorry. 1 Like |

Yooku: That's not the point Glitteringstar was trying to make. It seems a lot of people don't understand this. The eligibility is like the foundation on which CRS rests. If your eligibility is faulty, then your CRS is null and void. To explain, to be eligible for the pool (where CRS apply) you need to be eligible to apply first. So for instance, if his score was 70/100 because he answered that he has an uncle which earned him 5 points. Now if he doesn't show evidence for that, the 5 points gets knocked off from his eligibility score which now become 65. Thus, that means he wasn't eligible to enter the pool in the first place and he only got ITA because he misrepresented himself. I hope this is clear now. 6 Likes |

daremum: You certainly can, especially given that you got no point for it. I just feel your pre and post ITA information shouldn't differ so much because you never know what the VO is gonna interpret as "misrepresentation". Again, this is my opinion and not a statement of fact. |
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Santino1(m): 8:08am On Oct 19, 2017 |
daremum: Remember the golden rule in applications: Always provide more info than less. If you can get your Uncle to send you a scan copy of their PR and proof of residency, then it won't hurt your application. You can simply explain the apparent discrepancy in your LOE. |

elfmann: Because your medicals is the like a ticking clock, if it expires before you land in Canada, you have to redo the medicals and wait for the medicals to be approved all over again. So the idea is the later your medicals, the more time you have. 1 Like 1 Share |

Kingbukaz: When you registered for IELTS you got access to 40 hours of online practice materials. I would suggest you practice as much as 90% on all the sections. Try and compare your score with the global average to see where your level is at. Then adjust based on that. At the risk of sounding boastful, I actually had 8.5, 9, 8.5, 8.5 in LRSW and practiced for about 2 weeks only. By practice, I meant intense day and night practice like I last did during my university days a decade ago. So believe me when I say it's doable. 8 Likes |
