PoliticsRe: Lagos-calabar Rail Project: Those Worthy Of Knocks And Those For Commendation by santori: 7:26pm On Apr 12, 2016
maupe:
This assertion is completely wrong. The minister for transport, is solely responsible for the cacophony that is currently bedeviling the NASS and the executive. Rotimi Amaechi should have lobbied for the inclusion of a rail line running from Lagos to Calabar, prior to the submission of the budget by the president to the national assembly. The minister should have used his office and influence to pass across his proposal directly to the President or through the chief of staff or SGF. That is the way it is done in civilized climes. But knowing Amaechi from his past antecedents, it is very obvious that the minister used this controversial project as a means to drive a wedge between the Executive and the NASS, in his twisted plot to position himself for a much lucrative political position come 2019. The OP, should know that Amaechi does not care about any form of development in the South-south. Amaechi only cares about Amaechi
can you just listen to yourself. Let's assume amaechi doesn't have the interest of the Niger delta at heart as you shamefully opined. what about the lawmakers that represents the South south, what were they doing there? why didn't raise any highbrow over the calabar/lagos ommission. don't you think this guys are sleeping while their northern counterparts are fighting for their region. you guys always turn logic on it's head
PoliticsRe: Route Of The Coastal Railway From Calabar To Lagos by santori: 7:00pm On Apr 12, 2016
maupe:
Some of Nigeria's most fantastic projects are only feasible on the blueprints in the federal ministry of works. Amaechi only smuggled in this project to cause a division between the Executive and the legislature.
President Goodluck Jonathan is not one to waste his time on a project that is not politically feasible. This project is dead on arrival. It is simply a political publicity stunt
dey there dey monkey yourself when abuja to kaduna fast train go begin operation by the end of this year. I wonder how you guys reason. your senators are sleeping instead of slugging it out with their northern counterparts over fg projects in their region. you dey there dey despise amaechi instead of you to be angry with the senators that suppose to fight for projects to be sited in your region. then later on you an your ilks will turn around and wail that your region is shortchanged in terms of project.
I just wonder how you guys reason. and ppl like you are the much talked about youths that ought to be ruling the country. #smh

We need to decongest Lagos. But how do we do that? By creating job opportunities in other towns and cities I believe. Now again, how do we do that? Is our government working towards that? Too many questions begging for answers that's definitely not forthcoming.

how ? when some people prefer no development because the architects of the development belongs to the camp of their perceived enemy

chukwudi44:
so Goje and Jibrin are now from the SS/SE? Oya continue. So your SW Kinsmen would not also want to travel to Calabar by train ni? Just like we have SS/SW senators in the senate we also have your senators from the SW
so far we've gotten two reactions from two different senators, that is ashafa and ben bruce. one is only interested in attacking the presidency while the other narrated what actually transpired

mind you, four out of the six southwest states has railway line passing through it. the proposed calabar/lagos railway is billed to pass through 3states in the south west, 6 states in the south south and 2 from the south east. meanwhile, 2 out of the 3 states in the south west already have railway line passing through it.

no matter what angle you look at it, this south south senators ought to be more aggrieved because their region will gain the most
PoliticsRe: Still On The Lagos-Calabar Rail Line Controversy - Excerpt From Thisdaylive by santori: 10:42am On Apr 12, 2016
Reference:
Amaechi does not represent the south, he represents the government. He is not elected, the legislators are, so it is up to the people they represent to judge or appraise their performance. I think you should understand democracy. The rail line will not affect everyone in the south. It may not pass through all the southern/eastern states but the constituency projects are grass-roots targeted and if done well will popularise and return the legislators affected whether you like it or not. That is a fact.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggh!!!!!!!

how old are you please? how do you guys reason . to you constituency project is more important than a project that will affect every living being in the se/ss positively. do you even know how much jobs this project will create for both educated and uneducated folks, do you even know how this project will Bring about development in the towns and villages it will pass through I think I should just stop here, shouldn't waste my time on ppl like this
PoliticsRe: Still On The Lagos-Calabar Rail Line Controversy - Excerpt From Thisdaylive by santori: 10:30am On Apr 12, 2016
cktheluckyman:
you should rather ask your SW APC senators what they were doing when the budget was amended after all the rail lines would even pass through more SW states than those of the SS/SE
you forgot southwest already has one that is covered (kano-lagos) while southeast and south south has non. keep depriving your region developmental projects all in the name of Daura President kunu sipping mallam is the president of your homeland.

the northerners are alway wiser, as much as they hated jonathan, they never rejected the alimajiri schools and other developmental projects he brought to them. infact they were asking for more.

do you know Jonathan goverment kick started the building of the first fast train in Nigeria between abuja and kaduna. the wiser northerners did not play politics with it, rather they were encouraging him to finish it up quick.

you guys needs to understand when to separate partisanship from development
PoliticsRe: Still On The Lagos-Calabar Rail Line Controversy - Excerpt From Thisdaylive by santori: 10:17am On Apr 12, 2016
no matter how much anybody tries to defend the southern senators, those guys are not representing us well at all. nobody can tell me there's no single law maker from the south in the appropriation committe to fight for the interest of the south.

now tell me who be mumu between southerners and northerners? The northerners understand the game of politics than their southern counterparts. those know when to separate politics from development and they are so good at playing it.
PoliticsRe: Where Were Niger-Delta Senators & Reps When Lagos Calabar Rail Was Removed? by santori: 11:18pm On Apr 11, 2016
denko:
1million buhari cannot marginalized niger delta any government form without the niger delta fail from inception. no miracle buhari govt has failed.
just as jonathan marginalised the niger delta throughout his tenure.

don't you guys see the northerners are wiser than you lots. as much as most of the northerners derided Jonathan, they didn't reject the alimajiri schools and other developmental initiatives he brought to their region.

it's just so unfortunate that you guys are quite daft and myopic to the extent that you still prefer to reject what will be beneficial to your family just because the dullard buhari is the one bringing it to your doorstep

you know what? you need to be exorcised.
PoliticsRe: Senate Asks Amaechi To Resign by santori: 10:05pm On Apr 11, 2016
you hear, the Southern part of Nigeria is short changed in terms of infrastructural development blah blah blah. I wonder what kind of people represents the South in government. a massive railway infrastructure that will link the 3 regions in the south together is now generating hues and cries. the crux of the matter is the project is not a part of the vetted budget sent to the president.
as expected fierce debate has been going on both sides of the divide.
my question is where were our so called representatives at abuja while a project allotted to the South is being expunge by their colleagues from the other side in the chamber
the most worrisome thing is this guys are even mute and even the one that talked was defensive rather than asking questions and being furious.
make one idiot kom talk say hin region is shortchanged make I hear.

sanandreas:
you mention these sea ports. Are they functioning? Ibaka sea port project is there, second Niger bridge is also there. i see it as misplaced priority. The west don't want a functional sea port in the south
bro, ibaka seaport is not necessary, the question you should be asking is why are the ports under used. The 2nd naija bridge is already captured in the budget. The northern senators are working more projects for their regions while our own are busy playing politics with projects that will benefit our side. it's high time some of us separate partisanship from what will benefit us all

igboboy3:
Wonderful argument but they will not understand. You don't push budgets through the back door.
don't you think the South south and South East senators should be full with rage that their region is being short changed by some of their colleagues rather than go defensive. I expect them to be furious
PoliticsRe: FG Included Lagos-calabar Rail In 2016 Budget - Gbenga Ashafa by santori: 6:38pm On Apr 11, 2016
monex:
i have good reason to think this rail will go through more southwest states (Lagos, ogun, Ondo) than southeast states (probably none). I am then suprised why a lotta peeps are talking about the south east senators.
omissions nawao, see as human being dey reason . bitterness no go kill you guys. for your information the rail is designed to pass through abia and imo in the southeast
abi u are not still satisfied because it won't pass through anambra?
PoliticsRe: FG Included Lagos-calabar Rail In 2016 Budget - Gbenga Ashafa by santori: 6:31pm On Apr 11, 2016
sanandreas:
Do we need that rail way? A sea port in akwa Ibom would be better.
the way you guys reason eeh, when we already have ports in delta, rivers and cross river in South south while only lagos has ports in southwest.

having railway line connecting southsouth to South East and then southwest doesn't make any sense to your warped brain. trust me a chicken brain is much better than the one you currently use

I HATE MUSLIMS

I hate all muslims & muslimas with enormous passion.

They murder our people, rape our mothers & sisters, and
loot our goods forcefully for their selfish needs.

I just wish I could lay my hands on them and behead them one by one as they squirm and plead for mercy endlessly.

I just wish I could slay them by the might of my arm and by the edge of my blade.

I just wish I could take them to the brink of death then bring them back for yet another agonising torture.

I wish to spread thorns where they plant their feet and where they lay thy weary bodies.

I wish to make their vile hearts race in a sudden surge of panic when their salvation seems nigh.

Make nightmares comfort them in cold rainy nights.

And the sun caress their skin with fiery flames.

Rest, I shall deny their souls.

Quarter, I won't grant.

And in the afterlife they be made to twist forever in unbridled pain.

Cursed animals!!!

Please sir, how much has buhari saved amidst all his economic tightening and austerity measures?
